Checked out TK nails after my normal lady was booked. Went in with two other people. All of us were getting manicures and pedicures. I was the first one to sit down for my nails. I showed the lady a photo of what I want. She sped through my nails and therfore they ended up being more messy than normal. It was not what I asked for but, they turned out alright. My sister got her nails done by a different woman and she loves them. I think my lady just got stressed out because they were starting to get busy. The pedicures..... well, they are amazing. I will say that they take their time when working on your feet. This was the best part. For sure. Most salons offer drinks. This one did not. We were there for several hours and the services were very affordable. The younger gentleman was a hot commodity as almost every patron requested him. It was a good experience. If I could give this establishment no stars, I would. Worst experience EVER. The older lady rushed the whole time and in the middle of her doing my set, she left with no explanation. She was rude and a bit aggressive, I could tell that she does not take pride in her work. My nails looks crust around the edges and I have a few cuts. Pedicure was poor. I notice they did not use new utensils and I left with a blood toe. Too pricey for the poor quality of work that I received. As much as I hate leaving bad reviews, I hate poor customer service. I really liked TK nails and got my toes done here multiple times...but now I have a painful fungus underneath one of my middle toe nails. When i showed it to my dermatologist she immediately asked "did you recently get a pedicure?" You know, I never did see an autoclave here and they don't use liners for their basins like most other nail salons. I knew this was probably not good but couldn't resist their prices. Also, I got a shellac manicure here a few weeks ago, and it was just as expensive as any other salon, but worse quality than I've ever had. The nail tech rushed through the soaking and cuticle process then rushed off to talk on the phone for a long time. When she came back I pointed out that my cuticles were still very long and she glared at me and then did nothing. She instead proceeded to paint shellac over my cuticles and nails. We all know what happens when shellac or any nail polish is painted over cuticles...it peels and chips right off. Ya that manicure lasted all of 3 days. I could have done a better job on my nails myself which is pretty sad. read more

Don't waste your money here. I understand sometimes things happen but I was not happy with how it was handled. I asked for ombré nails and I was not happy and asked the lady to fix a couple of things. She did but she seemed angry about it. I let that go... finally she was done and rushed me to pay and I had to go pick up my son from school but I planned on going back to see if they could fix it. I called to make sure it was something they could do and the guy was very friendly over the phone and asked me to come back so he could take a look so i did. When I got there he acted like there was absolutely nothing wrong with them and made me feel like I was crazy for saying there was something wrong. Finally he said I guess I'll fix them and shave them down a bit but you're going to have to wait a very long time. I wasn't expecting not to wait but just his overall attitude made me not want to be there anymore so I left and paid another nail salon to fix it. Even they told me this was horribly done. They did it over the skin and the nails were already lifting... like how could he seriously look at these nails and say there was nothing wrong?! read more

Reasons I love this salon: They don't rush, they can get busy on weekends but they have the best pedi chairs ever! They don't skimp on supplies so you get a good exfoliating scrub and lotions. I've tried other salons and these guys just have better results every time. Polish lasts longer, they scrub heels better, it's my favorite go to!!!! read more

Pros: good price, thorough pedicure, tech took plenty of time. Cons: the chemical smell when I went in almost made me choke. I should have left at that point. It can't be good for the staff's health to be exposed to those fumes. Also, three of my toes developed painful infections, which happens when they are cut to the quick.
