TK-Maxx is 'OK' It depends on what you go in there for. The staff there are nice which is an added bonus. They sell a load of clothes in there and are arranged in the store depending on type (such as Mens Trousers, Plus Size, Womens Tops etc) The clothes are also in size order. Most of the clothes are low on duplicates too so if you find something then it may be the only one in Huddersfield wearing something like it. I do find some of the clothes there are the types that people in 'Walmart' wear (I'm English, but just google 'Walmart photos' and you'll understand what I mean lol.) Everything in there is of knock off prices perhaps ex-catalogue or a stich missing or something? I've no idea, but the prices are ok. They also sell designer stuff there too :) TK Maxx also sell shoes and even the womens shoes go up to sizes I didn't think was possible lol. There are handbags, luggage, underwear, dresses, cushions, packaged foods, books, kitchen equipment, crockery, toys, etc etc etc it has loads. The other day when I went I bought some hot sauce, it's called 'Pain 85%' and OMG is certainly is! I just dabbed my finger on it and tried it and it burnt my mouth away, my husband was unable to talk for a while as he had half a teaspoon! lol. As TK Maxxes go, this one is a little small and cramped feeling even though it has a fairly decent amount of floorspace - perhaps the fact that it's underground doesn't help! They've got a lot of brilliant bargains - when I was there last time I picked up a Zero Halliburton suitcase worth many hundreds of pounds for £13 in clearance. Their homewares department wasn't brilliant with quite a limited selection and I had to queue for quite a while last time but if you're an avid bargain hunter you won't be put off by that! Watch out for the new returns policy which only gices you 14 days and says you MUST have a receipt. Also beware you'll have to pay up to 6p for a carrier bag, even if you've spent hundreds! read more

If you don't mind rummaging for bargains, this is a brilliant place. Best time to go is early morning before it gets in a mess. Some real bargains to be had. I got a 24/7 face cream for £14.00, anywhere else it retails at £45.00. some really nice homeware too. Looks like you have spent a fortune, when you havent. read more

This shop is huge. Seriously - it might be one of the biggest ones in the town centre. Mainly clothes, but you can also get suitcases (like I did), toys and other gadgets. Has a wide range of brands including designer brands that are much cheaper than in proper retail stores. If you have a lot of time, and don;t mind going through hundreds and hundreds items in order to find something you like - this looks like the perfect shop for you. Due to the fact that TK Maxx has a problem with credit card numbers leaking out in the past - I would advise paying cash, just to be sure you are on the safe side. read more

Better than most of it's other stores -some ot them are run like jumble sales.Appears to be smaller than most but really is quite big when you get a look.Everything very cheap -look out for things things that have been reduced further -they're given away but you beed to be seven foot tall and have a six inch waist to take advantage of most of the deals or be four foot tall.Apart from very good choice of clothes footwear,kitchenwear and fancy foodstuffs all excellent.Can get crowede at the tills. read more

This is a larger store in the Kingsway shopping centre which is the newer centre only built in the recent years. It has loads of stuff on offer for all the family at a discounted price to the designer and high street outlets. You can buy big name brands such as Ben Sherman and Calvin Klein for instance for a fraction of the price that it would normally retail for. I'm not sure if the store has wheelchair access as it is located downstairs and you have to take the escalator and as far as I can remember that is the only access into the store. read more

Hm what to say about the tkmaxx in huddersfield - alot of pople prbly miss it as it below the ground. But im think it may be better there Its like a jumble sale yeh theyre are some nice piece of clothes but heyre just slung on the floor over hngers without a care in the world . read more

With plenty of bargains on offer this TK Maxx is worth a visit. Its underground so there's plenty of floor space. However after a busy day it looks like a bomb went off with stuff thrown round everywhere. On the positive side however there are plenty of bargains and a good range of clothing, toys and household goods. There are never enough check out operators though so be prepared to queue for a while read more

A really handy place to buy designer clothes at a discount of the price. Ok, a bit of a rumage is required but it is normally well worth it. i buy dresses, gym clothes, shoes etc from there as you can get such a good bargain read more
