I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Venture NY Property Management has been deeply…read morefrustrating. I simply asked for clarification regarding newly imposed co-op insurance requirements and how the coverage thresholds were determined. Rather than receiving transparent answers or supporting documentation, I was repeatedly told the requirements were "non-negotiable," threatened with fines, and ultimately informed that management would "not engage further" because the conversation had become "repetitive." As a shareholder, asking reasonable questions about building policies, insurance requirements, and risk management should not be treated as an inconvenience. At no point was any actual explanation provided regarding whether these limits were based on insurer recommendations, legal counsel, lender requirements, claims history, or any formal analysis. Instead, responses felt dismissive, defensive, and unnecessarily combative. Professional property management should include transparency, accountability, and respectful communication with residents -- especially when imposing financial requirements and penalties. I hope ownership takes shareholder concerns more seriously moving forward and improves how management communicates with residents.

The realtor came back and said they approved me but now wanted 2950 because they were adding a washer/dryer. I refused as I might as well pay for a delivery service for 10% of the cost. 1 week later they come back saying they changed their mind and were now offering for 2600 With no washer/dryer. I eventually caved because I liked the neighborhood (Apt was a bit rundown but I was willing to suck it up). Then the realtor says they approved me for the second floor apartment that is identical to the one I saw instead. I asked when I could view and they said the tenant refused. But the realtor said mgmt was amazing and you can trust them. My spidey sense was going off full alarm bells. No way am I signing with no viewing with these folks. If you're a tenant in one of their buildings, I highly recommend documenting the condition of the apartment when you move in (missing screens in windows, small chips or scrapes, etc.). We hired Wolves Den property management services for our newly built small multi-dwelling…read moreresidential condo building in Long Island City, to provide maintenance services and for the management of our property finances. Unfortunately, we were forced to terminate our agreement in just under two months, due to substandard delivery of maintenance services and the owner's unwillingness to address our many concerns after multiple complaints. To clarify, the super assigned, Robert, was ineffective and unable to perform basic maintenance duties from the onset of our agreement. He was massively inconsistent with the upkeep of our property and often did not clean our building until we submitted our request in writing and even then, we watched him drag around a filthy mop soiling our floors even further. Robert also failed to manage our trash regularly, leaving overflowing trash unattended and he consistently violated NYC Sanitation ordinances placing the trash outside in the morning before noon, instead of at night, after 4pm. We communicated our concerns multiple times (with photographs), but the response from the owner, Nafiz, was to imply that our expectations were too high. He refused to acknowledge our concerns, he was unwilling to reassign Robert to another location and frankly, made no genuine attempts to help us. In fact, when we received a sanitation violation for unremoved ice/snow in front of our building, Nafiz adamantly refused to believe Robert did not safely remove the ice/snow and instead resorted to blame the building residents for the summons. Through it all, Nafiz never offered to visit our property and personally inspect the premises to address our litany of concerns. In the end, we agreed to forfeit any remaining service dates to prevent further deterioration of our property and when we requested to terminate our agreement, Nafiz demanded we sign an NDA/waiver to prevent us from sharing our experience publicly and releasing WD of any potential liabilities. For obvious reasons, we refused to sign and ultimately managed to fully terminate our agreement. For us, working with WD was terribly exhausting and between the overwhelming maintenance issues, the questionable business practices and the severely unsanitary conditions of our building, we felt we needed to help others looking to hire WD, understand what may potentially lie ahead. We do not recommend WD in any capacity.
