I'm updating this review because I recently received another promotional text from her business advertising holiday mini sessions, and it reminded me that this situation was never resolved. I would personally not recommend booking with this photographer, especially if you have young children or are coordinating a family. Things happen with kids, traffic, and getting an entire family ready. Based on my experience, there was very little flexibility or grace when there was confusion surrounding our session time--even though we were at the beach at 5:50 for what we understood to be a 6:00 PM session. What continues to bother me most is that no photography service was ultimately provided, yet the entire $175 payment was kept, and I was asked to pay an additional $125 to reschedule. Almost a year later, my opinion has not changed. I wish I had known how this situation would be handled before I booked, which is why I'm leaving this update for other families to consider before paying in advance.

She gets into her zone and does her magic to get the most beautiful portraits. I am already thinking what milestone she will capture for us next! She took my maternity photos at her studio while I was 37 weeks pregnant. She has a beautiful selection of outfits in her client closet. She asks questions before to get an idea of what your vision is. I always envisioned wearing my wedding dress with my baby bump, and she made it happen. She makes the experience stress free; she is prepared and provides guidance on how to pose. I am forever thankful that she captured that chapter of my life! She also took our newborn's photos at 2 weeks old. I was worried that we wouldn't have the best outcome because our baby wouldn't fall asleep, but once he finally did she did her magic. I appreciated how she moved around her studio like a choreographed dance. And again, she was open to ideas to personalize our session. It's difficult choosing favorite photos because they are all so good! I would even take the unedited photos. Thank you Carrie for capturing these special moments!

My…read morehusband and I made an appointment with her to sit down and find out (with fingers crossed) if she would be available on our date. We had dealt with so much drama with details it was so nice to know that we had an experienced and talented photographer capturing our special day. I was blown away by the moments she captured!!! Even now I have so many of the pictures on display in my home and will always cherish them, especially the ones of my mom and I. Several of those moments were proudly on display at her memorial because Della was able to capture the beauty and happiness of that day in a way that truly sets her apart as an artist. Even now when people ask me I always recommend her services and constantly receive compliments on how gorgeous my photos are. She is also such a humble and sweet person which made taking photos even easier. My husband is not the most photogenic person and is the kind of guy that when you tell him to smile he is reminiscent of those forced kindergarten photos but she made him feel comfortable and just let us enjoy each other so that he didn't have to force anything. Not just anyone has that gift but she definitely does. We bought the lifetime package (I'm not sure if she does that package) so that we can continue to use her for future photo sessions at a different rate and we wouldn't trust anyone else for the important moments (when we finally do have a kid she will be the person we call for maternity and newborn pics).

In the time leading up to the wedding she was so patient with all my questions and she responded so quickly to anything we needed. The day of the wedding she and her assistant were the biggest assets a bride could ask for! She was there before any of the bridal party got there, she helped my husband and the men get prepped, she was so organized and just went above and beyond! The pictures were absolutely gorgeous, which was so important to us because when all is said and done, that is what you're left with forever! If you can afford it, you HAVE TO get an Italian wedding album! She got all the pictures up in a timely manner and was so great with all of the ordering from me and my guests! Everything Della shoots is incredible. There are so many things that can (and do) go wrong when it comes to a wedding, but she made everything amazing. My flower girl was a little monster that whole day (she was 2 years old at the time) but based on what Della was able to capture, she looked like an angel. It is a true testiment to her talent and how in tune she is with what is going on that allows her to capture the most beautiful moments. Even though I live in another state, we will definitely be using Della again anytime we need professional photos done! I can't express enough how much we love her!

Do Not Hesitate!!! Book your appointment with Diane as soon as you can!!!…read more I found her on Yelp for my grandsons pictures and so glad I chose her. The home studio is small but perfect for new borns. Original we planned on indoor family shots but decided on front yard. The landscape design for her outdoor shots are incredible. We booked our appointment in mid September & although there were little to almost no blooms and the landscape was changing Diane's color choices and style were perfect. What I really liked was the affordability of her packages. Although I believe it is available for one stop shopping she doesn't require you to purchase prints. Which can take the price upwards of $2k not including the sitting fee. Her photos are not cheap by any means. Her eye for posing new borns is impeccable. The mama & daddy pics are beautiful.
