Not only were our pictures remarkable, Nikki spent a lot of time and energy looking for that "perfect spot" I had envisioned in my head. And she nailed it! Nikki truly has a gift in what she does. She's fun, passionate, sweet, dependable, patient if you have little ones (and husbands lol) and extremely talented. Nikki was all over the place in efforts to get that perfect shot. This review is long overdue! Nikki is so much more than a phenomenal photographer. Nikki is thoughtful, organized, generous, and just a genius at what she does. My wedding was originally scheduled before the pandemic. As things started to shut down, things started to get scared. Vendors started pushing back, doing dark, etc and, Nikki was the first one to call and help work through solutions. She even offered to get on the phone with me to problem solve with the more difficult vendors who refused to put the wedding on hold until they were given more money! We re-scheduled for a smaller wedding, and I opted out of a wedding planner. The event took place in several locations. It was hot, and the bridal party included small children and a baby. I created custom timelines for everyone. As usual, the day got off to a late start and it started to get very stressful. Nikki was the only person who had the timeline in hand, and she was watching the clock like a hawk to make sure everyone got back on and stayed on track. I could not believe how she was able to capture such amazing photos while stepping in as the planner. In terms of photography, while I had particular requests for the photos I wanted, she brought brilliant ideas to the table. The entire day (as well as throughout our engagement photos), she was fun, easy-going, and made my husband, who hates taking pictures and is usually very serious, lighten up and laugh. The entire family took joy in working with her. Oh, and when we encountered venue staff who did not want to let us take pics or put a limit on it (during both engagement and wedding), she was able to negotiate and work with them until we got the perfect shot. I got my wedding photos back quickly and was in total awe. Throughout the entire process, she was very communicative and prompt. I'm not sure how this superhuman manages to crush it at her job, on top of everything else. I am so grateful to Nikki for being a part of my special day. Nikki is such a lovely gal. My fiancé and I did an engagement shoot with Nikki and it was awesome. She accommodated us to meeting in Big Sur instead of LA so that we didn't have to book a hotel/airbb for the night during this current pandemic. Nikki was the photographer for our elopement and we are so, so, so happy with our choice! She was flexible, professional, and so friendly! We had originally planned our elopement for Sedona in April, but had to cancel fairly last-minute due to COVID, and she was amazingly patient while we decided where and how we wanted to reschedule, and she even kept the same price point despite choosing a new location for September in Sequoia National Park. She did a great job researching locations within the park to get the best shots and created a wonderful itinerary for the day. However, about 2 days before our day, the park was closed due to wildfires and we were stuck scrambling for a new location! Nikki put forth lots of new suggestions and ended up going WAY out of her way to photograph our elopement in Utah! She put together a new itinerary AND she picked up my floral bouquet and brought it for us :) and it ended up being the best day ever! Nikki did an amazing job directing our awkward selves into poses that looked and felt natural and went out of her way to take the most beautiful photos of us (like climbing up a mountain to photograph us on another mountain!)
