My fiancé booked Lauren to do our engagement photos but she unfortunately wasn't able to make it for our special day due to her falling ill which we understand, however the replacement she sent was incredibly disappointing. He didn't not prioritize our comfort, and he didn't even give us a chance to kiss after my fiancé proposed without jumping in having us do a whole photo shoot. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the moment. Freshly engaged he had us start posing and made comments like 'my double chin is showing' and "my arm looks fat like this' That is the worst thing anybody could hear on their special day. I shut down after that even though he continued on with the photo shoot. The next day Lauren checked in with my fiancé to see how it went at which he explained how disappointed we were and how the comments made were extremely unacceptable. She was very apologetic, however when we did receive our portfolio, we were so disappointed to see how awful the photos came out. We were both clearly upset and uncomfortable in 90% of the photos. It is hard being reminded that that special day was taken away from me from those comments made on my figure. When I expressed how disappointed we were and why, Lauren forgot she ever had the conversation on the phone and said it was the first time she was hearing about it. She could have offered to redo our session, even refund us, but she stood by her portfolio. Now seeking a new photographer to make up our new engagement shoot and sending our portfolio to them to review, multiple came back saying how unprofessional our experience was and agree that the photos in our portfolio make us seem uncomfortable and appear to be shot by an amateur. We were really disappointed and now I have to associate my special day with this awful memory. I just wish she made it right that is all. read more

I searched far and wide for a photographer, and as soon as I saw her portfolio, both my now-husband and I knew that we wanted her for our wedding. I was looking for a photographer to capture a surprise proposal to my now fiancé and Lauren did an excellent job. My fiancé and I love the photos she captured, which included both candid and posed shots. I liked that she let us do a mini engagement photoshoot after the proposal as part of the "package".
