Hillside auto recommended Lucas when I was in a bind and needed help asap. They made a call and…read moreeven though the shop was full Joe fit my car in. I dropped it off the next morning and Joe Lucas the owner gave me a ride to my daughters house a few miles away. Since my car was a emergency repair I knew I'd have a little of a wait. Mr.Lucas kept me informed of what was going on and found out that the part I had gotten from hillsides didnt match up. He found a part that would work. It took a day to get everything together but my power steering unit was replaced and calibrated. Joe Lucas went above and beyond to help me, not only get the car running but to charge me the minimum he could. What was going to cost between 1000 and 1500 dollars elsewhere, I was charged 400 and price of power steering unit. He informed me to return the part I had orginally purchased for a refund,which I did with no questions asked. I couldnt have asked for a better place than Lucas Automotive and Hillsides. Even had other things wrong with my truck that I didn't realize, communicated that to me, got me pricing and had it for me done a few hours later. Had her bring it in, found the issue and even took the time to show it to her and explain it to her like a normal human Instead of disrespecting her like others do.
