I read the reviews about the bartender and now that i've met him i understand but come on guys what…read moreare you looking for here? A Maitre d' with a tux and a towel over his bent arm? This place is on a marina with sailers, lobsta hunters and fisherman. He's sarcastic but funny if you play along and dont get offended. My fiance and I had fun with him and played a couple games of bowling and shuffle board too on their machine. Their machine is weird though because you basically through a puck against a rubber band and the machine judges your speed and angle. I don't agree with its interpretation of my shots but whatever. The drinks were cheap and the food was hot. Welcome to a dive bar folks. Enjoy!

This place is sketch ball central. The drinks are cheap, the place smells kinda bad, everything is covered in a layer of "God Knows What." If you want a true locals experience, especially in the off season, go here. I played pool while listening to a man who was so drunk he couldn't stand, sing. I drank a cheap beer and then went upstairs where "dancing" ensued. It was more like drunken swaying, while I reminisced about my early college years, when I spent every Thursday at "The Beach Club, in an area of Cleveland called "The Flats", which was riddled with bars, dance clubs, and strip clubs before Cleveland decided it wasn't the best part of town, and shut almost everything down. Now, 15 years later, it is one of the most happening spots again, but has had a major cosmetic overhaul. I digress. The Time Out Pub has that "pre-cleaned up" feel. It's super divey, dirty, and clearly doesn't apologize for it. If this was what I was looking for, would I go back? Yes. Would I tell strangers to go there? No.
