There are lots of great products in this store. Lots of great fresh steaks as well as frozen fish. There are no fresh fish items (not frozen) in the store. Good wine options as well as cool local made brats. Definitely a must stop to grab items if you're in Minocqua for the week. read more

Store is nice and service *used to be*... Today was the final straw. Asked my husband to wait a minute at the meat counter he said "no hurry". But then he went in back and spoke to the other guy for quite a while. Odd. They were looking out at him. My husband is sweet so he patiently waited ... I would have bailed. You can see them through the glass!! It was odd enough that he told me and he is VERY easygoing. He said it was the second time he'd felt funny there. We are done with this place. read more

TJ's is always my first stop into town for picking up meat for the week! They have great deals on ground beef, small tenderloins, and fresh cut steaks. Also an impressive stock of frozen goods that are usually packaged in house. They have everything you need to put a meal together! One of my favorites, getting a pack of their all beef hot dogs and wrapping with croissants! So delicious! read more

Great place and really nice staff! They were very helpful and answered all of my questions!

They sell excellent meat and other fine products, but I will not be going there again. None of the staff wear masks. They don't care if customers come into the store without a mask and they don't practice social distancing. It is utterly disgraceful. My family has been loyal to TJ's for many years, but it's over. There's no excuse for putting people's lives in danger. read more

Stopped in to check out the new building today; very nice! Bought some boneless country ribs and a couple of beef tenderloin. They are carrying some produce, bread and sweets from Eagle Baking Company. milk, local free range eggs and a decent wine selection. More choices in the area are always appreciated. read more

I've gone here for years for the beef jerky. My family has a house in St. Germain and in the summers I visit and always stop in for some jerky. Last week I stopped in and was amazed by the stores new location. It's beautiful and fully stocked with all kinds of variety. A mix of cheeses, some pastries, wine, meats, seasoning. Basically all kinds of snacks. I tried the Bloody Mary and Garlic beef sticks and WOW. Needless to say I've already demolished them. Next I want to try the Bloody Mary cheese curds. Wish this store was in California because I want more now. read more

Went in and it looked like a pretty nice place. I wanted to buy a rib eye steak, then decided not to when I saw that most of the meat in the show case was brown and looked disgusting. Didn't buy anything. read more

Not sure why some reviewers gave TJ's less than 5 stars. This was my first encounter with them. I found their store wonderfully accessable. Their products looked fresh. The staff couldn't have been more attentive. Bought a case of sirloin burgers. They made sure I had a big enough cooler to hold them for the trip home to Chicago. Prices were very reasonable. Will be back every time I'm up North. Super nice people. I will tell my friends to stop there also. read more

My son and I stop in every time we are in Minocqua. Always have to get the jerky, summer sausage and some tenderloins. Craig makes the best jerky you'll ever have. Nice store and good prices too. Their meat prices are even much lower than Walmart read more

Fantastic addition to the area. Nothing like the old place, amazing selection of frozen meat and fish, excellent spirits and wine selections, cheese, etc. It's definitely worth a stop to see what is new there. read more
