We had TJK Paving complete a driveway installation for our property, and the quality of workmanship is extremely disappointing. After the first rainfall since completion, there are approximately five to seven areas of standing water, many of which are located directly in the parking area where we enter and exit our vehicles. Given the significant cost of this project, this result is unacceptable and creates both functional and durability concerns for the asphalt. I contacted Tommy this morning to address these issues but have not yet received a response. In addition, company personnel damaged our water hose, which they were required to replace, and left a substantial amount of rocks and construction debris along the edge of the driveway. When this was raised, the response was dismissive rather than corrective. Basic jobsite cleanup should be a standard part of professional workmanship. Overall, the project has fallen short of reasonable expectations for quality, professionalism, and customer service. read more

Thanks so much, Tommy + crew!! TJK Paving recently completed a 40x50 asphalt job for us and we were so impressed with this company. First, they were extremely competitive in pricing - especially in this market, how long they've been in the industry, and their quality of work. Secondly, they we're always quick to respond, many times calling in-between jobs, always making us feel like a priority. Third, they were SO quick. We signed the contract, had a 5 week estimate, but they were able to squeeze our project into their schedule after only a weeks time. don't use tjk paving!!!! a company is not judged when things are going good. a company is judged when things hit the fan and tommy will show all y'all his true colors when that happens he will take y'all to court and try not to fix anything. see tommy can not keep good help because he wants to be the warden and everybody he hires he tries to treat them like a inmate with his foot on their necks. so when he gets good help he runs them off. in this affects all y'all customers because at that point he'll just hire able bodies so when your property gets messed up he's already got it in the contract so he can weasel his way out of if you want to take the chance go ahead. but when something goes wrong he will do everything in his power not to fix it. and blame it on anything and everything but him. he does not take responsibility for his actions. read more
