The only issue was that the store was very disorganized, and it was extremely difficult to find any sizes, styles, or brands. The merchandise was all over stuffed on the racks in a random assortment. This was super frustrating and made it take forever to find what we needed. We did have a good experience otherwise. John was very friendly and helpful at the checkout. We had a coupon and got a great deal! It was a total of only $65 for a dress shirt and dress pants, as well as a shirt I grabbed for myself. I always love the sale prices and coupons at Kohl's!

This particular location was pretty big and had a large selection of clothes, purses, jewelry, and bags that were actually in style--I was surprised, considering all of the other places I'd been to around Boardman had been less than impressive. The store was clean and the service was friendly. I do agree with the other reviewers...the prices were pretty steep for a Kohl's. But, it was a generally good shopping experience even though I didn't walk out with anything.

He said he had to get someone. 10 mins go by and he says he radioed someone and they will be coming. Then another 10 mins go by and another person comes up and says they will get someone. Waited 15 mins longer and was done. Meanwhile the whole time 10-15 more workers walk by and sit and talk the whole time we are waiting. I get it, you work at Walmart. But have the common courtesy to help people.

Designer Bag Destination!…read more Ross Dress of Less is located in Southland Crossings shopping area. This Ross had sufficient inventory, clean interior, and pleasant customer service. You'll find a lot of summer must haves here - wicker serving plates, linen-like dresses and tees, trendy summer dresses, swimsuits and coverups, and beach towels. Beach towels were pretty expensive ($18 something). This location has really good designer bags at the front of the store. The purses are secured together by some cord, you'll have to ask for assistance if you make a purchase. I haven't seen Coach purchases at Ross anywhere. Here I purchased a cute brown purse for $99. Other choices include Kate Spade and a few other well known brands. There are lots of colorful purses for summer! Don't miss the checkout section snacks. Strawberry matcha latte mix was available! The store did not have a long line, checkout was very efficient. I plan to stop here again soon!

The sales lady noticed the post on one of the earrings was loose. She said, "watch this post in case it slips off, I wouldn't want you to lose your earring, but you purchased the insurance so it shouldn't be a problem." Needless to say, I lost one of my earrings. I immediately went to the store to get it replaced and another sales lady said to me, "How do I know if you just want another earring and didn't really lose it." I could not believe it. My husband paid $50.00 for the insurance and she pretty much said that we were lying about losing an earring even after I told her the other sales lady knew the post would loosen. I never bought anymore jewelry from JC Penney after that and it's been about 33 years ago.

The Southern Park JCPenney is the most convenient location for me, but it is seriously lacking in the way of customer service and store presentation. I will only a buy a few select things at JCPenney because a lot of the items are not high quality and do not last long at all. You just have to be careful what you buy there. Some items are great and will hold up for many uses, but for most items this is not the case. I have learned that many clothing items here only hold up for 1-2 uses before ripping or starting to visibly wear out. I tend to go to the store to try on items, see what they are made out of, and assess their quality before buying. That being said, most of the time I end up ordering the item online, even if it is available in the store. There are usually much better deals online, and the lines at JCPenney can get long at peak business times. One good thing about this store is they are understanding with returns and make it a simple process, so the items that do not hold up can usually be brought back fairly easily. It is still an inconvenience though. In addition to having to be careful with product quality and in-store pricing, the store is typically a mess. The merchandise is usually pretty disorganized, which makes it difficult to find what you're looking for. It is stuffy and hot in the store the majority of the time, which makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience if you spend a while in here. Staff members are friendly at the register, but they do not do anything in the way of customer service while you are shopping. No one is even available if you need help or have a question. Overall, I do like some of the products and deals at JCPenney, but I would always prefer shopping online to in this store.
