I asked them to be shipped to the store for pick-up and they were ready within an hour. The young lady at the counter scanned my purchase code, asked for an ID to ensure it was me (the same ID I use when voting), and she handed me the boots. Easy peasy. The store is very nice and has a large selection of western and ranch wear for both men and women. There are cowboy hats galore, practical boots, work boots. Fancy boots, exotic leather boots, goin'-to-town boots, and honky-tonkin' boots, jeans, buckles, leather care products, etc. Everything was neat, orderly, and easy to find what you're looking for. Prices are competitive, and you can find sales, promotions, and special coupons online. They have an app, but I don't really want another app on my phone. I had also received some coupons in the mail and thought, "Why not?" I was able to find some good deals on Tommy jeans and some nice Ralph Lauren Polo shirts as well as some blouses for work. As I headed to the check out, I was already thinking, the coupons will probably not go through and I might have to make some of my purchases online. Macy's coupons are a hit or miss because they have so many exclusions and at some counters, a sales associate told me they make sure the coupons don't go trough because all their items are exclusions. As a result, I usually don't bother unless I happen to be there for another reason. I was pleasantly surprised this time when a sales associate named Yolanda Perez helped me figure out how to make the most of my coupons and it turned my good deals into some really great ones. I truly hope Macy's keeps hiring sales associates who are friendly and helpful like Yolanda. Having that help keeps me at the brick and mortar store instead of shopping online. I really want to support RGV business but if I can buy a $50 pair of shoes for $22 on Macy's online, how can I resist? Forget about online shopping, bring your coupons and enjoy the excellent service. As an added plus, there is ample parking, the store is nice and clean, and the Chanel counter kicks butt.
