By far the worst car buying experience of my life. Purchased vehicle a few months ago from this location. Car appeared to need a few repairs. Salesman stated they would fix the items and that car would be ready to pick up in a few days. Upon picking up vehicle car broke down. They picked up vehicle and did just enough to get it back on the road. After getting the car back a second time it continue to have problems, died again and ended up needing several hundred dollars in repairs. While I realize that used car purchases are as is this was absolutely ridiculous! Come to find out they purchase their vehicles from an auction house. I could have done that and just took my chances on the sale. Oh and it took forever to get my hands on the car title! Buy from them at your own risk. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! These people are full of crap. They sell trash cars and lie about them being in decent shape or taking care of issues before delivery. After selling me a car but before delivery, they said they would fix the a/c. But, it wasn't fixed. I took it to a mechanic, who said they put in a compressor that was obviously from a junk yard. They have been arguing with me about replacing it, saying it's just a valve. And now, THEY WON'T EVEN CALL ME BACK!! Do NOT do business with these people!! Also, a couple of days after I got it home, it rained hard and the front and back seat floors filled with an inch of water. AND, I still haven't gotten the title and it's been 6+ weeks when the guy said I should get it in 2 weeks. read more

I got a Toyota Prius from them and the process was amazing! The people who work there are very sweet and helpful, and upfront about any issues with the vehicle. Buying a used vehicle means there's likely SOMETHING wrong with it, and they were upfront about what the vehicle needed. It was a great price, and I got everything I needed from them. The only thing I was nervous about was getting my title on time, since I hadn't seen it in a few weeks after purchasing the car. I recently bought a car from here and within a week of driving it the car transmission blew. I called/Text them a few times to let them know but was told they were out the country. I would not recommend this place to no one, they lie about fixing the car. It was my mistake but don't want anyone else go through what I had to. Had a good experience shopping at TJ auto sales. Made a long drive from Gaithersburg to Fredericksburg but ended up with a car. TJ was considerate and friendly. Not pushy but could have been a little more flexible on price. TJ himself is very friendly and easy to talk to. He will sell you a good product at a fair price. After driving my car for two weeks, having it Maryland inspected and getting a great big thumbs up from my own mechanic, I know I got a great car at a great price. Worst place ever. Salesman lied about where he was at when he gave me a day & place to pick up my car. He had told me to pick the vehicle up at 4pm and was stalling for nearly 6 hours just to come find out he was in NORFOLK. I had to pick the car up the next day. He then tells me he lost the original paper work I signed, he also never got the car inspected I had to go back days later for him to do so. Very unprofessional. read more

Horrible experience drove 2 hours to see a car for then the clear coat to be peeling off the trunk after I was told by them that the car had no issues. I asked multiple time if there's anything wrong prior and was told nothing about the the whole clear coat missing of the trunk. Car was overpriced for missing a clear coat we agreed to a deal as if the car was in good condition, clearly needed a new paint job that would be at least 2,000 dollars. I wouldn't trust them. Dude new that i was in the military as well and had to ask my command to leave early for nothing. Not veteran friendly at all. read more

Negotiations were easy and fair, financing options were explained in detail, appointment scheduling was very flexible (I am a 3rd shifter so that makes things difficult at times). They were more than accommodating. You can immediately tell that these guys are honest, hard working individuals that respect the money and time of anybody that walks through their door, however serious of a buyer they may be. I have a lot of experience buying cars and haven't gotten the same level of customer service that these two guys provide whether that be smaller dealerships or even big name brand dealers. called about a van. went to go see it. test drove it for 4 minutes. knew it needed some small work like brakes on test drive. was told it had no issues other then a oil leak. paid cash on the spot. went to supper market. went home. broke on the way to work. 46.6 miles. had someone come down to look at it. told me a wire is grounding out somewhere and that caused the cpu to reset. fooled around with the wires and told me to get rid of it fast. fooled around with the fuse box. told me every time this wire would hit metal would short out more fuses and would lose control of things going down the road. a friend called them up at that time was told they where aware of a wire problem flaged in the computer system. yet when i went to look at the van before i bought it nothing said to me. told them it also wouldn't pass inspection. got the van in running order drove it back to them and the back end wire stuff shorted out. had the van for 2 days and 88 miles broke down 2 times. got to the car lot and they really didn't give any crap at all. got more run arounds and a very pretend act like they did care. the sales guy tried to play mechanic saying there was nothing wrong with it. i asked to have it looked at. yep more crappy attitude really really just did not care at all. i paid 3 grand for something that broke down 2 times in 2 days a total of 88 miles driven. half that mileage to bring the van back. i told him about the lemon laws in this state. got more run arounds and didn't give a crap saying nothing was wrong with the van. if that was so why would i waste my time and money to get it fixed to bring it back. the van was sold as is no warrenty under this states lemon laws i had 3 days to make them aware of any issues. i did and they didn't care at all. then told me the owner was out of the country and there was nothing they could do. why have employees if all they can do is take your money because that is just what happened to me. took my money and told me to go away. left the van and the keys on thier property and cant wait to see what a judge says in court about this. nice when buying a car. as soon as i said anything was given the run arounds and told to get lost. in 22 years this is only the 3rd company to treat me like total crap. a total nightmare ask yourself this before you buy here. did they make everything aware to you. how will you be treated once you leave their lot and they got your hard earned cash. 46 miles for 3 grand. do you think even got 100 dollars use out of that deal. please please hury and file court papers because i cant wait to see you in court. read more
