I made the difficult decision to sell our home specifically so I could pay off the remaining balance in full. The day before I was scheduled to pay the car off completely, the bank repossessed my vehicle. The repossession agents arrived in the middle of the night, shining flashlights into our windows and frightening my family. It was an incredibly upsetting and invasive experience, especially with young children in the house. The very next day, I did everything in my power to resolve the situation. I paid the full remaining balance of $7,500. I even went to the Sheriff's Department to try to expedite the release of my vehicle. Despite paying in full, the bank refused to release my car that Friday afternoon at 2 PM -- leaving my family without transportation for the weekend, including access to emergency care for my children if needed. What has hurt the most is the complete lack of empathy or flexibility. After more than a decade of payments and a sincere effort to resolve the situation immediately and in full, I was met with indifference. I understand policies exist, but compassion should too. If you are considering this bank for an auto loan, please think carefully. When you need understanding the most, this institution does not provide it.

Also, it's important that you understand the terms of your loan. The bad reviews here seem to be from people that either 1. Didn't pay or 2. Didn't realize there was interest. (?!) First of all, a title loan is a high interest loan. If you don't understand how loan principal and interest work, maybe get a friggin' clue before signing loan documents. Second, if you don't pay (and don't communicate!), they will repossess your car because your car is being used as collateral (look that up too, dumbass!) A title loan is not free money with no interest, payable if/when you decide. Also, if YOU SIGN, you are AGREEING TO THE TERMS, a legally binding process which cannot therefore be construed as predatory lending. Furthermore, the loan reps make the process very transparent by walking you through the terms and actually explain to you "this is what you pay every month just to cover interest", "this is what this loan will cost you for one year", etc., etc. Averse to the terms? Don't sign and walk out. Anyhoo, idiots aside, this place has low rates, and reps are personable and willing to work with you if you need a few days to extend a payment. Excellent, professional company-- I never felt like I was walking into a seedy ghetto place when I went to sign documents. The loan officers are friendly and knowledgeable. I'd recommend them to anyone.
