They will not give you an idea of their rate over the phone. You must drive all the way to them, give them all your information, answer all their questions, have your vehicle inspected, then you find out their rate is over 30% a month--360% a year. They rob you without a gun. And they represent more baD NEWS. The employees have nothing to do with decisions concerning you or a loan. The owners stay hidden. read more

Emmanuel (the victim) Folks, just a friendly advice, be aware of Title Max! As sister Tammy R said, " exhaust all avenues..." before you decide to apply for loan at Title Max. No matter how bad your situation is be aware of Title Max. That's why Title Max is one of the predatory lending companies that everybody should be aware of. If you doubt that I will offer you my personal experience; Last March, my car broke down and I didn't had money to pay for it to be service so I went and applied for $1000 with the exchange of my car title, hoping to pay it back by next month but thing didn't work out the way I anticipated. When the due date arrive, I explained my situation they asked me to pay $160 just to cover the interest but I decided to put $300 down hoping that it will at least lower the whole amount I owed. However, on the same month my bill started swelling up like a balloon before my eyes as if I wasn't making any payment whatsoever. When, I complained to the manager, the guy told me that , that's because of the interest and again I asked him why the so call interest is increasing on the same month? The guy couldn't explain. Therefore, I took some risk and went to other lender that pay off title loan and they bailed me out. So, please be aware of this predatory lender, be aware of Title Max! read more

Don't waste your time please. Look for other ways of getting money. These people have had many many years to sharpen their conniving methods of taking advantage of everyday consumers. They lied to me saying that I can only withdraw $200 at a time, they said I wouldn't be charged a fee if I withdrew from a Wells Fargo, they charged a late fee when I paid on time and they transferred my title to two separate locations of which it got lost in transit and nobody could find where it was located. They told me it was still at the DMV and hasn't come back yet. Fortunately they found it at this location on North Lamar. I've never dealt with this particular location and I don't know why it was transferred to this location. If you need to get a title loan get it out as soon as possible because everything that goes to hell once they have it. read more

No organization at all. My bill date for my car loan was the 20th of every month. Only to find out they had it in their system as the 1st so I'd been paying a $38 late fee every month for 3.5 years. I randomly found out about this when I called about a possible hold on billing due to be furloughed during CoVid. All they did was change my bill date to the 25th. Had to jump through hoops and call and check in with them to see where I was with the hold. No one ever reached out. Had enough, refinancing with someone else. read more

The people there are very deceptive. I was told one thing and then five months later when I thought I was almost done paying my loan off I was told the payments I make weren't even going towards my loan amount. So basically I'll never in this lifetime get this loan paid off. This place is a joke and it's very true that it's a rip off. When you call with a question they are rude and never know anything but if you're a day late on a payment they will call you a million times a day. This was the worst mistake of my life. I got this loan to get out of debt and now I'm in more debt than I was when I started. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! BEWARE!!!!!! read more
