The initial install was fine, though the patchwork on my stucco was less than stellar. The price was right and it came with salt service which was where the issues began. The tech that did the salt service would say they were coming, then no call and no show, I complained stating very unprofessional and was advised, weird, no one else has issues with this particular person - First red flag. Fast forward to today where I have had to continue paying for them to service my system because... ding ding ding, you guessed it... my warranty is tied to them providing service. Several months ago a tech came to complete the service when I asked if they ever clean out the salt container because its quite filthy, the tech stated that there was quite a bit of sale in there but he could skip adding more then by the time he came again in 2 months it should be low enough for him to take it to the street and rinse it out for me, Ok Great, lets do that. Two months following a tech shows up - not the same one, I look in the salt and there is still just as much salt in there, no movement at all! I tell the kid what happened last time and advise Im not sure it is working, that doesn't seem normal. The kid is very nice, again does not add salt and tells me he will put in a service request and the office will call me to schedule it. I get a call later that day from Megan in the office, rewind to the salt tech that would no call no show and showed very little professionalism in that position, she has now been promoted to the office manager! With the exact same dismal level of professionalism, she asks me to complete a smell test, to which I advise I am extremely busy at work at the moment and unable to take that time to do that at this moment and that my concern is the system is not working, not the smell of the water. She tells me my options are to complete the test now with her on the phone or to do it on my own later. I advised again that my concern is the salt is not dissolving and told her I have not had salt added in 4 months to which she replies the tech put salt in last time, one bag.... Its in the notes. I advised that was not the case regardless of what was in the notes and I would like to speak with a manager. She advised I am the manager and was just plain rude. I sent an email stating that I wanted to speak to the owner of the company or I would file a complaint with the BBB, get an email from Jake - I think - who basically defended Megan, told me that all they can do is the smell test, told me the tech who offered to rinse out my container was fired for promising people things he shouldn't have and that if I wanted a service call I needed to call in to the office. Which is what the salt tech did and how we got here in the first place. Now its time for renewal and I am literally STUCK between a rock and a hard place. I have a system which still weeks later has the same salt levels and I feel is not working as it should.... Im up for renewal and would love nothing more than to never deal with this company again, but my warranty on the system is tied to them continuing service. Buyer BEWARE. If I could go back in time, I would not have used this company and I would never recommend them. read more
