Update a Year later. It has been a good experience with Titan. The fees are included in our HOA monthly dues, like the pool service. Titan just let us know thru the HOA that trash and recycling are moving to Monday's. They will have two different Trucks for pick up, they report. I had their "service" for 4 weeks. They missed my pickup 3 times. I canceled them. It took over two weeks for them to pickup their container. So I had to store it. Start up was over $72.42. Terrible customer service. Nobody ever answers the phone, and if you try to message through the website, there is no place to just reach customer support. If you text, the response is rude. No address found, so you can't get face to face either. My cans were stolen mid day on collection day. They are not labeled with a Titan logo or any ID, so they're a landscaper or criminal's dream. We live in a gated community and the gate opening has had many problems in the past and the pickup guys now just park out side and climb over the gate to get our trash bags. Forgot to bill me for 5 quarters then said I must have deleted the emails. Though they never interrupted service until after I paid. NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE This trash pick up service is our only option where we live, so I guess not having any competitors makes this company so confident that they DON'T CARE IF THEY HAVE UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS. I want to set Auto Pay on their website and I can't do it because they ask for an "ID number" aside from the account number, this number is supposed to appear on my invoice but there is nowhere to be found. She, Amanda the manager, has already charged me a late fee because I didn't pay on time the last bill which I didn't get in the mail or through my email account. Titan is terrible. I would drop them if we could but we aren't able to because of our HOA. They leave notes if your garbage bag is considered "too heavy" or if you have "too much garbage/recycling." It's not my fault they have tiny trucks and are lazy, and unable to do their job. read more

Don't bother texting because they're just gonna argue with you. Our HOA negotiated a contract to include all items at the curb despite Titan having a 2 bag restriction. This has never been an issue in the past. Last week they skipped us for no reason. This week they skipped us for having 5 bags set out. That's what happens when you skip and have 2 weeks of trash. It accumulates. When we called they quoted their rule back to us. The owner drove to our house to see the bags at the curb. Mind you, he still didn't pick up the garbage. He drove by to look. It's bogus, because they took another neighbor's 3 extra bags this week. They used to be an awesome company but they got sloppy about 5 months ago and it's been downhill since then. I will never touch my Trash Container the same way. On Friday 11/04/2022 I saw the Titan Trash Collectors dump the whole container to the hopper on to a full layer of feces smearing the front, side and lid of my container with it. I asked the young worker if he noticed what he did and made him aware that my container is now covered with someone else' feces and his responded was that it was not his problem that other people dumped waste that was not bagged. That day (11/04/2022), I went to the company website (https://titanrecycleandtrash.net) and, since there is no complaint section, left a message. The next day I got an email from them asking how they can help. I proceeded to reply via email explaining what had happened. In both, the email, and the msg, I explained what happened and how this can be prevented and asked if the method the trash collector person used was a standard process. Titan has not responded to my email or the website msg. Fast forward to today, 12/03/2022, It happened again. This time I did not see the Trash collection happening but when I went to move the trash container from the curb I saw there was feces smeared on the front. I do understand that trash collection is a dirty process, but no one wants to have feces on their containers, specially on the handles or the lid, and specially someone else' s feces. read more

I am having problems getting my garbage picked up. I have my account on auto pay. I started service in November and called to complain when my garbage was not picked up but got nowhere, not even a call back. December seemed to be okay with weekly pickups but they stopped picking up again in January and now in February. I called today to let them know and Amanda's mailbox was full!! What is going on. I am having to put my garbage into my neighbor's bin. I am paying for a service that I am not getting. Do I dispute the charges on my credit card? Unfortunately I have to agree with previous customers when they say that Amanda is passive aggressive and not well trained in customer service. I am going to talk to the HOA board to see if we can switch companies. I agree that the actual "workers" who come to get the garbage are wonderful, but Amanda needs to find a better fitting job or better understand her customer's needs. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION WITH CUSTOMERS. I'd like to give the hardworking Titan crew 5 stars! They are terrific. The problem is Amanda, the receptionist-bookkeeper. She doesn't answer the phone when you call. She doesn't answer your email messages. She takes no responsibility for not sending your electronic bill and then charges you a $15 late fee. The owner doesn't care - he knows about her negative interaction with customers and does nothing. It could be a great company. Now, it's mediocre. We live in Green Valley and have been using Titan for the past year. The fellows that drive & pick up the recycle and trash have always been polite & willing to go the extra mile. We are careful to follow the rules regarding cactus disposal by taping everything inside of a cardboard box. I have never had a problem with a return call after leaving a message... Over the past five weeks Titan has failed to pick up our trash twice. They don't return calls or respond to emails. Several times you couldn't leave a message because their mailbox was full. I strongly recommend you not use their service. They are cheaper than the competition but I guess you get what you pay for. read more
