One never responded, three called by phone and gave me quotes and Hefty Hauling arranged an appointment to come out, take a look at the pile of debris, talk with me and clarify exactly what I wanted done and gave me a reasonable quote. All four companies gave me the exact same quote. I went with Hefty Hauling. I notified the other three I was going with another company and one offered a $100 discount. I rejected it - the difference is the three spent less than five minutes on the phone and did not take the time to personally interface with me to find out exactly what I needed done. The actual work was done in under an hour and a half. It was quick, professional and they guys were great! 10 out of 10, would highly recommend to be cliche. They took everything I needed gone and now I have the space back.

This company was professional and courteous. They arrived on time and worked hard to disassemble and move my furniture. Unlike some moving companies, Hands on Moving did not milk the clock or hit me with any extra fees. They were very easy and straightforward to work with. The movers took care in making sure my belongings not only arrived undamaged but, they also put every box and piece of furniture exactly where I wanted. I do not remember if they said it was included in the pricing however, I am so grateful they went out of their way. It made my transition into my new home go so much quicker. I do want to note, I took off 1 star because the movers did not have on face masks ( review written during COVID19 era) and that made me a little weary. BUT in their defense, it was over 100 degrees outside and they were working so hard I decided to let it slide since I wasn't at risk anyways.

USE THIS COMPANY!. They are a local family owned company and Yolanda is the sweetest woman that helped me get through the stress of setting up two moving days. I have had movers in the past say they would be there on a certain day and time and then never show up and leave me scrambling for another one in a short window and charge me a ton of money because it was last minute...I had no worries with Apostle! They showed up as promised, they were careful with my belongings as if they were moving their own stuff, and the moment they came to my door, they were ready to start moving immediately. They had the paperwork completed and correct and moved an upstairs apartment to another upstairs apartment in the very hot month of July in my three hour window! The men were very respectful toward me the entire move and were focused on the getting the job done carefully and quickly. I am using this company again next week and already recommended them to a friend of mine moving in about 8 months! Listen, I realize that not every little thing will go perfectly smooth all the time in a typical move, but this company does their darndest to achieve the best job that they can do and after dealing with the last moving company that basically dropped and broke a lot of my furniture, I am truly impressed with this company's professionalism and that they CARE about their customers! Yolanda, thank you for all you do and I will keep your number for any future moves!

A few weeks later, I received an apologetic voicemail from them, saying they just got my message, and to let them know if I still needed help. Fair enough; I did appreciate the professionalism of the call. But then, a few days ago I received an anonymous text message (with no company or name given) in which I was thanked for my business. The text went on to say that they (whoever "they" were) had signed up on Thumbtack, and I was asked to leave a review. Again, no name or company was given. I Googled the phone number sending the text, and it came from The Brigade. I get that it was probably an automated message sent to everyone in their phone list. However, given that I was never a customer--and the fact that the text didn't even identify who they were--I was very annoyed. In the future, I would suggest that any automated messages clearly contain identifying information, and that they only include customers they actually worked with.
