I considered 1-800-JUNK at first, but I've always been willing to support the local businesses and these guys have great ratings on Yelp! So, I decided to give them a shot without getting additional quotes from other businesses. I booked an appointment from their website. I wasn't quite sure how the form area worked and just selected the category of "Yard Junk Removal" and added the rest of my junk item details in the "Custom Request" area. Just note that the site didn't provide an online quote as it only provided a booking schedule. My appointment was confirmed via email, which was scheduled within two days. I thought that was a pretty decent booking timeframe as I was expecting a week or more in advance. On the day of my appointment, I was called 15 minutes prior to their arrival. I was greeted professionally by a young gentlemen and then we reviewed the items for removal. He then provided me a quote based on what he saw and not by the list that I had provided on their website. At this point, I was wondering how he came up with this quote. It would of been nice to be provided a preliminary list of yard junk items (based on size/weight) with a general cost of hauling out these items. Would they have been selective on the items to be hauled away if I was on a strict budget? Regardless, I gave him the thumbs up and the two gentlemen proceeded to haul stuff away. Their removal process was quick and efficient. It took them less than 30 minutes to leave us with a bigger and more beautiful backyard. Both of the gentlemen were very pleasant and professional. They processed my payment via the Square card and I was also given a magnet and a printed sheet of instructions (nicely done) to write a review on a number of social platforms. They did provide discount incentives for writing a review, but it didn't feel overly pushed. Nice work Vista Clean! *MUST READ* Owner is really racist, says the "n" word more than 'thank you'. If you're a woman, he will objectify you behind your back. Todd foster has spent time in jail and is aggressive. As a customer you can always negotiate price. Best quote from him when cleaning a place out after an older person has passed away, "I'm happy when the old f-ers die, this means more money for me". When you think you're donating? Wrong. He takes metal to be sold and has sold your junk at Palo Verde swap meet. Or keeps the good stuff and sells it for profit. If donating here and there happens, it's for a tax break. Most dump fees that are high are 60 dollars for them. Save money and just spend the 15 and do it yourself. Any minorities or gender other than male, expect harsh prices and crude things said about you behind your back. He's a terrible individual behind his fake teeth. Also, their company has damaged customer's property before. If used, be strong on YOUR price, think of them as a car salesman. I support local businesses, just not someone with awful views with the purpose of ripping people off. I had this company last year for clean up and they were fantastic. Seriously, I could not rate them better. I had them out again and this year the price has nearly doubled. Ok I am willing to perhaps accept that. Last year it was the owner and a worker who came out. This year it was 2 workers. The clean up was fine. They were quick. But my complaint is the huge price jump and they did not take away debris that they were willing to take last year. My fault for not asking on the price (I understand price increase by nearly double?) and debris policy changes from one year into the next? That is unexpected. Also the worker says when they arrived that there is a lot of stuff they didn't know if it would fit. (Which btw it filled up half-ish of the 10 yard trailer. ) And they wanted to split the debris into two trips and give me two prices for the two trips. Far cry from last year when the owner and his guy was topping off the top of their trailer with a dustpan, jumping on the trailer to settle the debris to put more in. Growing pains perhaps. The service is not the same. When I had garbage first thought was vista clean! But This company would not be the first of my list to call next time. Half my debris is still here. We called them and within 24 hours we had made contact, developed a moving plan, and finished the move. They stayed in contact throughout the process, including notifying us prior to arriving. We were looking for a company to haul away old junk from our backyard and wanted to support someone local. Super happy we found Vista Clean on Google- didn't even bother calling other businesses after speaking with them on the phone and realizing how easy they were to work with! They were very kind to rearrange the schedule to fit us in on a Saturday, and even came early that day (with a phone call prior to ensure it was okay). We had a huge, old arcade game that they took away no problem, and several pieces of old pool furniture. Very courteous throughout the entire process, asked for our approval of the job before leaving, and cleaned up our carport before taking off! I wish I could give them more than five stars for going so far above and beyond any expectations I've ever had of a company, both in the quality of work I received and the humanity they have shown. I had an exceptional experience. I called to schedule a fairly standard removal of a tree we cut down (there was a giant pile of branches in the middle of the yard). My life was flipped upside-down a bit later on when when my husband called me to inform me he's been laid off. I called to cancel the appointment and was told very kindly that they're coming out anyway and not to worry. WOW. When they arrived, they were super friendly and efficient and my back yard was cleared of tree branches and debris with speed and efficiency that was surprising. We had a 30+ year old spa that was unused for years, looking old, and just taking up space. We are usually do-it-yourself people, but trying to break it down and then figure out how to discard the parts seemed like more than we wanted to tackle. We searched online and Vista Clean Junk Removal had excellent reviews and the best things - "local and family owned" and they donate and recycle as much as possible to local Tucson charities and nonprofits. Upon calling we were able to get next day appointment - Chris & Stephen arrived as scheduled and were done within the hour. Except for the now empty space you would never know they had been here . . . and that after removing the old wooden skirt and cutting the spa in half. I called Vista Clean to remove an old truck camper that had been sitting on my in-laws property for 35 years or more. They came out the same day; their crew was at the house within a couple of hours. Chris and Adrian demoed the camper in about two and a half hours. They did an amazing job, and a couple of very friendly gentleman. They were very polite to me and my mother-in-law and work very diligently to get the camper removed. The two worked to remove every bit of the camper and it's contents, and they also cleaned the ground where it sat. By the time Chris and Adrian were done it was as if the camper had never been there. I made several calls trying to get some one to remove a decrepit spa. The prices I heard ranged from $300 to $500. When I talked to Todd, he quoted me $399 and he could do it within a couple of days. My time frame was tight, so I set up the appointment. I was given a window of time to expect them, and they called to ask if it was okay if they came early, which it was. I had been told on the phone that they would need to cut the spa apart to remove it, since it was quite large. When they arrived, they were able to remove it in one piece AND since they didn't have to cut it up, Todd took $100 off the price! They were in and out within an hour, cleaned up everything and even offered to scrub the cement slab that held the spa. I couldn't have asked for better service or more courteous workers. As it turns out, apparently there are some things you can't get rid of using the "free" section of Craigslist. My hideous old couch was one of those things. I emailed the business over the weekend when it became clear I wasn't going to fool anyone into taking the thing away for free. They replied right away with an estimate, and even suggested I could throw a few more things in and still stay at the minimum (my case was easy but for bigger jobs they will do an in-person estimate). They arrived on time when they said they would, and even took their shoes off... even though my house isn't that clean. ;-) Careful, friendly, professional - a great locally-owned business that I will definitely hire again. It's not every day a mattress is replaced, but then that day came and I called Vista Clean to come get the old mattress. The owner, Todd, answered the call, and said he could have someone come out the very same evening! He also said if they get an earlier opening in their schedule they'd call and come sooner. Well --lucky day-- they called mid-afternoon and said they could come by in around 30 minutes. We said yes. I entered a request on line (on a weekend) and I had a quote and appointment for I that Monday afternoon all scheduled within a few hours. Can't thank Vista Clean enough! Their service was very professional. On my first call we were able to determine the type of trailer I would need based on the items I had. They communicated several times to remind me of our appointment and when they were on the way. The two gentleman who loaded up the trailer were very nice and accommodating. They were able to take more items than I thought they had room for. They swept up and cleaned the area where the junk was piled after they were done, which saved me the extra work of having to do this myself. I am very satisfied! After seeing reviews for these guys I gave them a try. I am so glad I did! I setup an appointment with them over the phone and they were able to accommodate the upcoming saturday. They showed up early, took all the stuff I needed them to, and swept the garage where they took the items from. Very professional and totally reasonable price. They hauled away the following; full size couch with built in recliners, wood kitchen table and leaf, 4 wooden chairs, 12 plastic chairs, wooden snake cage, metal patio table, and a bunch of old boxes, among some other misc items. Both times have been excellent, the team is really reliable, responsive to questions, easy to work, timely, and flexible with scheduling an appointment. In general, they provide a friendly service.
