Mobile Homes For Less

We bought our new home from Mobile Homes for Less. It was probably the largest purchase we have…read moremade but was also the easiest purchase we made. Everything was delivered and set up on the dates that was promised, any issues we had after moving in were promptly addressed and my favorite part is I never called the main office. If I needed anything or had questions I had Stans direct cell phone number. I called or texted him directly and he promptly answered me back. They packed up and moved out old house and had the new one in on the same day. This is a great company to deal with even after we completed the sale. Stan has called me twice now in a 3 month period just to make sure we are doing ok, making sure we were enjoying our new home and if we needed anything from him. I will always refer Stan and mobile homes for less to anyone looking for a new home.

Then we found mobile homes for less we bought from Stan Jr. They were not only the cheapest and more house for your money but they are So nice! They don't pressure you to buy. And they are So helpful!!! Nicest homegrown people you'll ever meet. They are just great people. We have had the mobile home for almost a year now and Stan Still checks up on us to make sure everything's going good! And we couldn't be happier! Great quality homes and great prices!

I wanted to share my experience today with Palm Harbor because it was not good. I told my husband I…read morewanted to look around and while doing so I wanted to see how these people treat us. And based on that, will be who we eventually buy from. Needless to say, we have not bought from them and after our experience we will never go back. We came today to view homes. It was my husband and I's 3rd stop today and it was the worst experience I could ever imagine having. I had just left Clayton homes feeling excited and having a fun time looking and shopping around only to get there and have my entire home buying experience ruined by this place. We worked with Chase Greenville and the first thing he did was ask us a million questions and confuse me to high heaven with the numbers around buying a home. He was talking about paying on a 60k home for 25 years at like 600/mo. (Side note my BIL just bought a home for that same amount and is going to have it paid in roughly 7 years or less). So immediately I knew the math was not mathing. Then after telling him the models I wanted to see, he basically pigeon holed us into a select number of single wide trailers based on "what we could afford" based on the amount I said I wanted to pay (not what I could afford). So he could have easily sold me on a higher priced home but missed out by trying to talk numbers with me after I already told him I wanted to do that with my bank. I never even got to see the homes I originally went there to see. Plus there were no lights so we were viewing the homes in the dark. Additionally they make you sign a waiver when viewing the homes because the stairs getting in are so rickety and wobbling I am sure it is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Anyways - don't waste your time with these people. The reviews are absolutely true

They would have more sales if they cared more. That's why the place looks run down.

I wouldn't let them build a dog house for me. My daughter and son-in-law went through this…read moreorganization and all I have seen and heard is one excuse after another. They closed in January and their house is not yet ready to occupy. I sent them documentation they needed on the OSSF report in July. It was a COMPLETE report. In January I was called because they needed page two of the report so they could get the required permits. If there was something wrong in July, why didn't they contact me then? Why did they wait so long to get the permits? The kids have done everything required to include deposits and having ALL required documents needing a Notary have been done WHEN requested. The home was put attached and there was a gap in both ends at the apex, the way they fixed it makes me want to vomit. They have had two excuses for not putting in the septic system. The first excuse DOES NOT wash. They said that the electricity had to be on before they could put it in. I called my septic person and he said the system could be put in without electricity but it could not be tested. The second excuse is they showed a picture of a piece of equipment in mud and that they could not get it out. Question: DO they only have ONE piece that can do the work?
