Ported - the ports (big holes where manifolds join heads) are enlarged to improve volume of flow. Gas flowed - the tubes that the fuel and exhaust flow through are machined so that the fluids can flow with less resistance hence faster, so more fuel gets pumped in per stroke.

I got the guy w/ the laziest disposition, who after looking at the screen still seemed to send me 8 miles home with the WRONG part. Was upset but not ticked off. When I returned to swap part for the correct one, he was sitting in a chair in the back and finally got up to make the correction. The young guy working was the opposite (attentive/ helpful) with his customers and if I choose to go back to that store hopefully he can help . Hope that wasn't a manager in any way!!! Beware and maybe do a google parts search first. Employees reading this will automatically know who I'm speaking about....

I had a light on my dash for the last week plus & I thought it was the low tire pressure light, but I checked my tire pressure all around & thought it might've been something else. So I pulled up, popped my head in the door, asked if someone could run an engine code check for me & someone came right out. They ran the check, no engine fault codes registered, we exchanged some polite words & they agreed it was probably the Tire Pressure Sensor if all my tires had sufficient pressure. Now I'll have to go back to Walmart to see if they need to reset my TPS. They were very cordial, quick in their service & helpful.

The comment was rude, dismissive, and completely unnecessary. What made the interaction even more frustrating is that he had no idea that my father and brother are mechanics and were the ones advising me on what to purchase. His attitude came across as condescending and, honestly, somewhat chauvinistic. As a woman, I felt like I was being talked down to rather than helped. The young gentleman, Kayden, was the complete opposite. He was helpful, informative, professional, and treated me with respect. Kayden provided excellent customer service and is the reason I'm giving any positive feedback at all. Management should take note: Kayden is an asset to your store. The older employee needs to work on how he speaks to customers.
