However, the staff had become very pushy and hard sale recently, simply annoying and made my shopping experience unpleasant. Not only that, the most unforgivable thing was they triple charged my mom's credit due to the error of the credit card processing company they used. After overcharging my mom for $280, my mom immediately talked to them, the staff took her information and said she will liaise to management. After several weeks, no one from Korna or the credit card processing company contacted my mom to rectify this issue. I went in on behalf of my mom, the staff even said this was a known problem, as there were multiple clients at different locations of Korna who were affected. He took down the information again, and said it will be dealt with in a few days. Several weeks passed by again, absolutely nothing! I put in a horrible FB review, so that they know this is still an outstanding issue. Again, haven't heard a peep from Korna or the credit card processing company. Two frigging months passed by, I went in again. Another staff was trying to take down our information again and asked for a copy of the credit card bill for the third bloody time. That's when my husband got upset and raised his voice, saying how unacceptable and unprofessional this is. As he started raising his voice, the owner came over and talked to us. Of course he apologized profusely and indicated that he had been fighting with the credit card processing company for weeks. He pushed over to Fidelity Payment to deal with it, and thought it was resolved. My husband of course chewed his ear off, demanded them to resolve this problem the next business day. Thankfully with the owner on site, he finally contacted the designated staff from Fidelity Payment to deal with this issue, and after two frigging months, $280 was credited back to my mom's card. Even though their store is spacious and comfortable to shop at, and the variety of dehydrated treats and raw are very appealing, I just don't think my mom and I will ever step foot in Korna again after this super unpleasant experience.  Aside from an apology, the owner didn't even think of or bother to do something to win his clients back. It's a loss to them, not us! My mom and I have been loyal customers to them, and every previous purchase was over $100 just on treats! Well, I guess we'll have to buy from other pet stores!

There were 3 staff in the store - one was in training - and they were all very helpful and pleasant. They signed us up quickly and didn't make a fuss about it being late for our appointment. They gave us a big bag of treats for the pup, checking in about allergies just in case, before handing it over, and gave us a thorough tour of the washing station before leaving us to get on with the job. There were several choices of shampoos and conditioners; professional grooming restraint system; copious amounts of microfiber towels; an air dryer; and even an apron for me. Getting the pup in and out was easy peasy with the aid of a little staircase. There was no rush, even though on weekends you do need an appointment. During the week you don't. Cost is only $12 plus tax. Totally worth it.

I feed my cat only the best food - freeze-dried - and it really helps me out to receive those samples every time I buy food . I shopped there today - Feb. 21 2026 at approx 2;oo pm and the good lady working gave me 6 sample bags of dry cat food to go along with my $30 purchase . Primarily for dogs and cats, but they do carry things for reptiles, fish, birds and rodents too!…read more I was surprised that they had live crickets and other reptile supplies. They also had a modest selection of aquarium supplies too. I was looking for fish medication, and they had the one I needed in stock. But, this store is predominately for canines and felines; probably 2/3 of the store is dedicated to dogs and cats. They do have some live fish for sale, but the selection and prices are pretty sad. Staff are very helpful and enthusiastic, which earned them an additional star. Parking is ample, and you can visit the Safeway, Earls and several banks in the same plaza.
