Went to this location for a oil change and inspection. I have a corporate account which I have had for over 10 years. Upon my arrival I asked if they could pop 2 bulbs in for me which I had already. After oil change and inspection was done I noticed the bulbs hadn't been replaced. They pull my truck back in and they came to me and said they would have to charge me labor of $130 for pop in 2 bulbs. My oil change and inspection was $110. Make that make sense to me. DO NOT COME HERE!! These people are actual scam artists. They not only charged him over $1300 to get his headlight fixed without actually doing a single thing to fix it, but they also BROKE his driver's side door. The door worked PERFECTLY before we ever took the car there, the very day we picked it up the door was extremely sticky and not working to open AT ALL. The owner Steve is extremely unprofessional and actually sat there and argued with my boyfriend. It was easy to call and make an appointment. I was able to get in for an oil change within two days. They were professional when I had to reschedule due to a chronic illness flare-up. There's plenty of seating inside to wait, and a shaded bench outside. The waiting lobby has a bathroom and is very air conditioned. It's not loud or smelly. There's no free coffee right now (COVID), but there is a water bottle refilling station. It did take nearly two hours for an oil change and tire rotation. (Which seems like a long time?) It was easy to check-in when I arrived, but then when I went to pay I had to explain everything all over again to another employee. The price I was quoted was the price I ended up paying. I'm giving four stars because of the wait time and having to re-explain everything to another employee. read more

I was told I could drop it off but they probably wouldn't get it done that day but they would have it done by the end of the weekend. Don't bring your vehicle here if you actually care about it. They will dent and scratch your fender along with breaking the fog light assembly then not own up to it. The estimate in damage they caused was over 2K and they said there was probably more. I know the damage wasn't there before because we just had it inspected by our insurance company before we brought it in. The General Manager, Steve, wasn't helpful whatsoever. He was rude, argumentative, and very condescending towards women. We needed to have someone else bring it back because he conveniently only works M-F and was making her feel uncomfortable and stupid. I brought my car into the woodbury location to have the snow tire changeover and oil change. did not get a call from them after 4 hours I called - they told me there was a crack in the oil pan and it was there when I brought the car in ( it was not) . Also, I received a rude and defensive lecture , telling me I should not have even asked for an oil change it had not been long enough since the last oil change and it was not needed. When I asked what could be done - they told me they would put oil in and I could come and get it. I got it as far as a local grocery store parking lot - where a huge puddle of oil formed around my car. - Had it towed to a local dealer - where they informed me that a crack close to the drain hole in the oil pan usually comes from the bolt being torqued too tightly by the tech. doing the oil change. In order to keep this short I will not get into the detail of all the falsehoods and lies I was told . The manager Steve Middleton is absolutely rude, condescending and should not be dealing with customers. I have been a customer for a long time, bought tires there, had service there, etc. No longer! - they will never see another car of mine nor anyone else that I know or am related to. Good and bad here. Had run flat tires installed at another tires plus. One of the tires failed at the bead after a couple thousand miles. This can occur if the tire is damaged during install. This tires plus replaced the tire at no charge. Thank you. Returned another time and after leaving notice the comments from the previous visit blaming me for damaging the tire and they replaced it as a good business practice. The tire information was sent to the NHSA and based on the information and pictures provided the likely cause was installer error. Second item of concern here is the tech put a balancing weight on the outside lip of a custom rim. Custom rims used stick-on weight on the inside of the rim. Only an inexperienced tech would make a beginner mistake like that. read more

Avoid!!! My son brought his car in for an oil change & potentially other issues. His car was supposed to be ready the same day. ..it wasn't. Suddenly, there were many, many problems that all needed new parts (which weren't available). We were told his vehicle would be available early afternoon the next day (Sat). We dropped our son off there at 4:30pm ( which is long after early afternoon!). He was still there at 6:30pm (30 minutes after closing time)! Suddenly, his vehicle had a host of other issues. After confirming his vehicle was driveable, my son paid the bill & left. A week later, we took his vehicle to a reputable facility & they not only confirmed that the work Tires Plus had already done (to the tune of nearly $1000) was NOT necessary, but the work they said needed to be done (to the tune of $2200) was ALSO NOT necessary. $300 later...we had his vehicle fixed & running like a dream. read more

Since my daughter works until 9pm and Tires Plus is only open until 8pm, I asked Corey if he could leave the car unlocked with the key hidden inside (its an old car and I wouldn't mind if someone stole it from me). Corey did me one better! He said that he would personally drive my car to my daughter and leave the key with her, even if it meant staying later than his shift!! I went here on a recommendation, which both Dale and Steve ( managers at this location) knew. I brought my car in for front and rear brakes and a broken front coil spring. They convinced me to get a whole new strut assembly, which I was unsure about but was reassured it was the best choice. I was also told the job would be done by the end of the day and someone would call me when the job was finished. They close at 8, at 7:15 I hadn't received a phone call so I called them, twice, no answer. So I had to wait til the morning, called again and spoke to Dale again, he had no idea why the phone wasn't answered and why no one would have called me when my car was done. Went to pick up my car, the technician who was checking me out was the one who was there the night before and RUDELY said he only missed one call because he was at the other end of the building. Never said "I'm sorry for missing your call" or " Sorry no one called you when your car was finished".Drove away completely offended by my treatment only to have my tire pressure gauge turn on and a loud wobbling sound come from my front passenger tire. Apparently the strut assembly they put on my car was defective, but they let me drive away with it like that. Um, they don't know the difference when they're putting it on my car? So I had to go back for a whole new strut assembly and they told me my tire pressure gauge was broken and I'd have to pay for it to be fixed, even though the light only turned on after they put the faulty strut assembly on my car. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a repair shop and will never go back. They were terrible to me and I will only be going to my dealership for repairs from now on. At least there's some accountability there. read more

My car started rapidly overheating last summer and I got stuck near the bridge into Wisconsin. A passing motorist told me he was a mechanic at this location and suggested I tow the car there, which is what I did. I pulled in with my disabled vehicle and the man at the desk said they could look at it within an hour. I went next door to have dinner with my girlfriend while we waited. When I got called back over, the guy there said my radiator was busted and shined a flashlight over it showing me the coolant. Now it would stand to reason that there should be some cooling still leaking from somewhere as the coolant he showed me obviously was from opening the radiator cap. He quoted me around 680 bucks for the repair. Something didnt jive with me when I went home that night and I went back the next day. I opened the radiator cap and lo and behold, coolant. I waited an hour for the guy to return after he left me standing outside. That is no exaggeration I was timing him after awhile. I finally went inside and asked for my keys and took my car down the road to Car Care Advanced. They confirmed my suspicions that the thermostat needed to be changed and that would cost me about 180. Update: Tires Plus is trying to play the "good guy" by posting a so sorry message, but when I attempted to contact them, they did not respond. Do not come here if you wish to get close to the warranty mileage the tires are rated for while paying full price at the same time. I've bought 2 sets of tires 84,000 miles ago (rated for 70k and 60k) and now my 2nd set is already worn. I diligently did every tire rotation while doing an oil change. My last appt, I found out the outer edges are bald while the middle is worn half-way. They then recommended I buy a new set of tires at full price, after refusing to rotate the tires since they are bald on the edges. This location claims the reason they wore so fast is because these tires are too soft for my car (Charger). I then went to Eden Prairie (where I bought the last set) and they said it was an alignment issue. They then offered a standard 4 for 3 deal. Even though I got half use of my tires and came in for every tire rotation, they said it's my fault I didn't ask for an alignment check as well since the alignment check is on a different machine (therefore, more work for them), you have to ask special for that. read more

We have been going to Tires Plus for years. They have always completed the job when they say they will or before, and if there is any change they call. When I had an issue with a set of tires wearing unevenly, they replaced them at no charge, no questions asked. As with any business, it helps to be assertive and know who you're talking to. We had an appointment for a tire rotation and alignment (estimated to take 1.5hrs). We went to dinner nearby to wait and got a call after almost 2 hours. They wanted to replace the lower front ball joints for $300 and claimed they couldn't get good alignment without replacing them. They told us it would take another 1-1.25 hrs. We stopped back after nearly 2hrs with no phone call and they hadn't even started the alignment yet. We waited another 20 minutes in the shop (4hrs 15 mins later). I wonder if the ball joints were even necessary. I should have taken it for a second opinion first. If we hadn't already pre-paid for free rotations/balances/alignment we would never come back here again. Take your money elsewhere! read more
