Very helpful and kind. My car battery was running low and they used a tool to let me know if a new battery was needed. The manager was very factual and was not pushy to buy it at that time or even from them. It was free of charge and they even jump started my car. In this day and age where customer service is hard to come by, they are one of the few ones that do it right with everyone I interacted with at this establishment. read more

Had a flat tire while visiting my daughter. Took it in and they patched it up within half an hour. Also discovered a major unexpected problem with my older car that could have caused some major problems if I had drove home without fixing. They stayed late to fix the problem so I could get home safely and really went the extra mile! read more

my car needs new control arms replaced and I understand parts are tough to find, but hey, call the person when those things happen and let them know. I changed my whole day and night around to stick in town to get my car repaired here - thinking now I probably should've brought it somewhere that's going to make it a priority rather than when they can get to it. read more

I took my vehicle in for a oil change and tire rotation. Good news.They got my vehicle in 15 minutes early and later told me no tire rotation was needed. Bad news. I wanted synthetic oil used. The Manager acknowledge me and I told him 8,000 interval They used,5-30. Should have used 5-20 as it says right on the oil fill cap. Next up, The technician changed my radio station from XM 70's to some AM country hick station. Bottom line is ,Don't mess with my vehicle radio. PS, I will not be coming back. I was waiting for over an hour to get my wheels aligned (which never did happen). I listened to them tell almost every customer they needed new shocks or struts. What a great coincidence for Tires Plus. This place is untrustworthy. I would strongly recommend going to any other business in grand forks. Go here and then try a reputable place and it will almost guaranteed be Tires Plus is trying to sell you things that you don't need. read more

Absolutely terrible business. All they do is try to sell you cheap, crappy tires when all you need from them to do is a tire replacement. The staff is incredibly rude too. I had an appointment for them to look at my tire and it took over 40 minutes for them to look. I wouldn't be mad if they were busy, but they weren't and they looked at another girls car who got there after me before they even looked at mine. Advice: If you don't want to be scammed or have someone be disrespectful towards you, go to Walmart or Sears to get the job done. They're much more efficient and honest. read more

My experience at Tires Plus was great! I was instantly greeted upon walking in and received prompt attention. The employee who helped me (Erik or Eric) was great, throwing a few jokes and also sat down and started up a conversation with me. I needed my coolant flushed, but wasn't pressured into doing it that day. He was kind enough to put a quote on my receipt for the recommendation. A star knocked for time. It was supposed to be a 30 minute oil change. I came in about 15 minutes before my appointment (4:45) and got out at about 5:40, but the service certainly made up for it. They called me like 3 separate times just to tell me what they were doing with my car and what they finished on. updating me every single step of the way. I was extremely happy knowing they could talk me through what was happening since I don't know much about cars. They did a full safety inspection and found out what was wrong with my brakes and even informed me whoever fixed it prior didn't do it right. I had work done in this shop several years ago and got great service. However, yesterday I went for 4 new tires and an oil change. Their '59 minute guarantee' went out the damn window. I sat in the waiting area for 4.5 hours! My vehicle sat outside in the parking space for over an hour before they even brought it into the garage. At 2:45 (about 3 hours after it was supposed to be done) the manager wanted me to authorize a brake job and systems flush, which I strongly declined. Then the manager told me that the mechanic that worked on my car was about to be fired, which is not only unprofessional, but it didn't give me much faith in the quality of work I received. The only upside to all of this is that the manager gave me $150 off my service and a card for 3 free oil changes (which I am not going to use!!). Low prices? Sure. But next time, I will be spending the extra money to get the customer service and quality work that this place should have given me. read more

Horrible service. Had an appointment to get an alignment done @ 12, dropped the car off at 12. I knew that alignments take time, so I figured I would grab a bite to eat. Took my time and walked back to find my car in the same place that I left it an hour later. Why suggest to me that I make an appointment, when you can't even hold yourself up to that appointment. I understand that things get busy on Saturdays. It would be common courtesy to just say "I know you made an appointment, but we are backed up, and it might take a couple hours". Just another national chain that doesn't pride themselves in customer service. read more
