I dropped it off on a Thursday and received no update until I called them the following Monday. They told me my car was ready to go and they had tried to call that Friday however I have no missed call or voicemail. When I picked up my car they said their technician couldn't recreate the issue and my belts are fine. Unfortunately I had to take my keys, and drop off my rental before coming back to take my car afterhours. I should have started it up when I got my keys because after returning immediately the squealing was present and only got worse after I drove. I left them a voicemail immediately asking them to call me back so we can resolve this issue. A full week has passed with no word from them. TLDR: I paid $107 for an oil change I didn't ask for, my issue was unresolved, and they need to get their ears checked because my belt is still singing!

What has been unfortunate with our experience is the lack of communication. The first day, I left a message via phone call, in addition, sent an email to schedule service. The second day, I called and left a message. No response from either day. I looked on their website to see if they were closed down for any reason and there is nothing to indicate that they were on vacation, family emergency, etc. I hope everything is well but in this day and age it is too easy for people to communicate. From my end, I am thinking that they have enough customers and don't need anymore. Or, they just don't care. Time to move on to someone who would like to have our business.

I had been extremely busy and couldn't make it back to the shop right away, but when I did, I was greeted by Jacob Marie, the manager. He said he would order a replacement lug nut for me. After about another month with no word, I called to check in. That's when Jacob suddenly changed his tone and told me it was my fault because I was supposed to re-torque the rims--a detail that was never explained to me. Despite this, he eventually agreed to order the lug nut again. Weeks passed, and I still heard nothing, so I followed up again. He told me it was finally on its way. When I went in to pick it up, a friendly employee was ready to help, but as soon as I walked in, Jacob came out of his office, slammed the box down on the counter, and very rudely said, "Here you go." I asked if they would install it for me, and he flat-out refused, then told me I could take my business elsewhere. This experience was beyond unprofessional. I highly recommend taking your business to Discount Tire over Les Schwab, especially if this is how they treat loyal customers. To make things worse, I work for a company that provided services to Les Schwab all summer and winter, and Jacob delayed payment for months. Meanwhile, we paid our bills to them right away and even purchased several sets of tires from this location. Apparently, accountability and respect are one-way expectations for Jacob. Never again.

Smitty's recommended a fluid and filter change, which I agreed to. After that service, I started having major problems--fluid leaking and burning off the exhaust, plus shifting issues. I brought it back multiple times. First they said fluid level was fine, then blamed a pan gasket, then eventually told me it was "normal" for the transmission to boil over and vent fluid. That's absolutely not normal. Communication was poor (I waited 2.5 days with no update), and when I picked it up, they acted like they just wanted it gone. One employee even walked away mid-conversation, and the service writer shrugged when I asked if they were blaming me. I took it to another shop--they immediately identified it was overfilled, corrected it, and the problem was completely resolved. I then towed my tandem ice castle and went on a road trip over 2,000 miles with zero issues. Bottom line: I went in with no real problem and left with one. Would not recommend.
