Wow. This place is awesome. I had lunch with my friend recently and at the end, her 9 year old told me I had a nail in my tire. I didn't think it was, but wanted to be sure. Anyway, I brought my SUV here. Sure enough, this adorable 9 year old knew more than me about tires. I was able to get a new tire quickly. The staff were so nice. I chatted with them both and actually had fun waiting for my new tire. This location is in a Publix shopping center. There are several restaurants as well . I visited this location recently and had been a customer for many years. This was different management and staff since my last visit. My passenger side window was stuck down and would not go up. I spoke with Yassar, who introduced himself as the manager. Yassar advised a diagnostic would be done to determine the issue but it was probably the motor. I was advised the issue was the motor and Yassar stated he couldn't find the motor anywhere. He would need to order from the dealership. The window was r as used and the door panel was left on the backseat. I was charged $49.95 for the diagnostic and Yassar stated he would call me later after he located the part at the dealer. Yassar called me and quoted me a price of $1,200. I was shocked and told him I would not be ordering that part. The car is a 2015 Acura TLX. I called someone else and he located the part at Autozone for $200. When I was having the part installed at another shop, they said the problem was not the motor but was the switch. I called Yassar and asked for my diagnostic fee to be refunded. It was an unpleasant conversation but he said he would refund the charge and let me know when it was done. One week later, it has not been done. I will not return to this location and have shared this with Tires Plus corporate. read more

If I could give negative stars I would! STAY AWAY from this business. Just took my car in for oil change and tire rotation. Cost of a full synthetic is about $150, double the coupon from my dealer. OK fine. Tire rotation another $25, fine. Then three calls to get me to do more "urgent" service, one of which was done 20K miles and less than two years ago. OK, go ahead. Get a call to pick the car up. Tires are NOT rotated even though it's still on the invoice. They give me some BS story that the fronts are too worn (85% tread, new is .34", mine are .29") to put on the rear and it's "against company policy". She has no clue. Back tires are about 90% tread. These ladies on the counter are clueless to say the least. Although the mechanics may be worse. I had a tire from another car leaking air so I asked them to fix it. They claim " they filled it up and put in water and don't see any leak" mind you an hour later when I got home the tire was already out of air. I filled it myself and sprayed it with soapy water. Low and behold two leaks around the rim clear as day. When I tell you they are 100% incompetent, I mean it. I will never let them touch one of our cars again! read more

I come here for service most of the time mostly for an oil change or tire. They are pretty fast you drop in your cAr for a few hours and then they are usually done . I suggest you make an appointment but if you can most of the time they can tAke you in . Once I had a flat and my husband took it in that day and they fixed it I was thankful because I had work the next day . The staff is always nice . They have an app that is so helpful you can make appointments or basically do anything on the app . They also have a credit card if your into that as well . And a ton of coupons and discounts. That will help you in the long run . I will take my car here as need be it's super close and if you wait in the plaza they have so much to do like shopping Publix and restaurants . So you can get lots done and not be bored at all they also have a waiting room if you want to wait inside . read more

Sad day when you have to find a different service place to go to after going there for over 5 years. But honestly, it's been 5 years of just disrespect and unprofessionalism here at this location and I'm actually excited I no longer have to come back here. The two sole reasons I've been coming here is because proximity to my house and the lifetime alignment warranty I have with them. Every visit in 5 years here has been an annoying experience. You'd think they'd remember a customer or car if they are true professionals in that amount of time. I have a lifetime warranty that they ALWAYS have trouble verifying. Why won't they save a note in my file. Always have to go through the same explanation and jumping through same hoops of calling faxing different stores to verify even when I have past statements and receipts for proof. Always schedule an appointment to watch it go useless when end up waiting as long if not longer than any walk in. What's the point of having appointments? My appointment was at 1 and at 1:30 with my car still sitting in the front where I parked it, I guess John at the front desk couldn't handle being called out about everything because he was also giving customers hard time over the phone. The final straw was when I asked if the store raised the prices because I notice I have to pay more today even with the store discounts. His response "I personally do not raise the prices. There's nothing I can do about that. I don't know what you're talking about". Alright I told him to keep up his great attitude and asked for him name. That's when he told me I could take my business somewhere else. Lol you know what? I wish he had told me that from the beginning instead of waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled time. The crazy thing was I'm not even the least bit surprised. Anyone who goes here can see and sense there's a bad vibe with the workers here. Guarantee it. They don't care about their customers at all. Typical stereotype auto place that'll just try to take every penny off any little service from you. Looking back, there was an incident they wouldn't even check air in my tires when I stopped by. I've heard other bad experiences from my cousins and friends but that's not for me to share. I'll just say don't be surprised if your car was missing pieces or something was broken that you don't remember were the issues when you brought it in. I'm just relieved to find out firestone and Bridgestone are same companies with tires plus so my lifetime warranty will still apply there. Negligence runs rampant here. Each time I go (referring to this year only) they do something that lacks their focus that drastically affects me. Last time I was there they fixed a steering arm but neglected to test drive car and my car kept pulling hard right. This time around they promised me a 5:00pm completion to take a nail out of tire but yet kept my car overnight. To make matters drastically worst, they charged my credit card for someone else's repair. If I could do zero stars I would because this place charged me over $500 and didn't even do the work that was supposed to be done. They gave me a small credit for only the alignment and kept the charges for labor and parts which, in reality were the largest amounts charged. If the work wasn't done right I should have received a full refund. If they didn't know how to do the job they should have said something and not received the vehicle. Thanks to Manny and the rest of the team I was commuting safely again. A while back I was driving down i95 in the rain and it was a nightmare because of the amount of wear I have put on the tires, when driving in the water all my car wanted to do is hydroplane. Soon after decided to go get my tires changed, and based on Manny's recommendation got the tires with the best water performance. While there the tech also recommended that I change the brakes, and in a matter of moments I was back on the road driving in a safe vehicle. Only drawback with the location was that the plaza was getting a facelift when I was there and it was hard to pinpoint where the store was, but next time I went for a different service it looked like it was all done. Her service guy was Winston who said she needed brakes, an alignment and oil change. The price would be good over $500.00. After she heard the amount she left not feeling like he was being honest. The grimy dudes saw a chic and thought they would try and cash in. Well sorry guys, not this time. After my frustrating visit to get new tires, the nightmare continued when I was driving to work and my car starts pulling to the right. hard. I originally was going to opt for them to just install my tires and not align them but they guys working there convinced me to buy the package and that by not doing so, I could wear out my new tires. Seemed legit and I didn't want to scrimp where money rightfully should be spent, so I had them align the tires which if you ask me should not be a separate charge. Its like hey I will install some bookshelves for you but if you want them to be level, well that will be an extra charge. wtf. Well I should have skipped it. By the time I am done with my hour work commute, my wrist is uncomfortable from having to grip the steering wheel so hard to keep me from merging into the cars right of me. Since I did spend the money on the alignment package, I took my car back a week later to have it adjusted thinking maybe this time, it would actually get aligned to where I am not risking running into a cement wall if I take my hand off the wheel for a milisecond. Did they fix it go around #2? Nope. My car still goes right. This time when I went to go pick up my car, nothing was leaking, but now, I needed a new battery. What a shocker. This place is terrible. No one at the customer service desk has any decorum or sense of humility. One of the customer services representatives even called one of the customers a liar to his face. What kind of an establishment is this? While I was waiting for two and a half hours (on a Tuesday afternoon) for a simple oil change I witnessed more. A customer who had been faithful to this place for years showed up and the customer service representative began arguing with him about prices that he paid in the past. The only thing this place has going for it is that it is very close to my house, but I have had two bad experiences here. First bad experience was when I asked them to simply change my oil pressure sensor. I purchased the sensor from Weston Nissan and wanted to change it myself but it was impossible for me without a lift. Tires Plus told me that since I did not buy the part from them they would not install it. I pointed out it was an original Nissan part. They did not care. Today, I had a screw in my tire. I took the tire off my car and walked in with the tire on the rim. They told me it was too close to the edge and I needed a new tire. So I left and went home and got an extra tire that only has about 2,500 miles on it. I went back with both tires in hand. As soon as the rep saw me he said they would not install the tire I brought with me. He didn't even check the DOT number to see how old the tire was. Clearly, they wanted me to buy a new tire from them. Actually, they would probably want me to buy two to match the tread. I ended up at AutoZone and purchased a patch kit. When I pulled out the screw the tire did not leak. Turned out that the screw was small and did not puncture the tire. What happened to the neighborhood service man that would work with a customer? Have lawyers ruined all this for us? Must be Tire's Plus part and a new tire from their stock? Why can't I simply pay labor and sign a disclaimer that they would not warranty my parts? I will stick to buying tires from Tire Rack and avoid this place at all cost. read more

I brought my Chevy Traverse in there for an oil change, etc. I asked them to check for oil leaks because of oil spots on my driveway. They told me I needed to have my oil pan gasket replaced and front struts replaced. They quoted me approx. $1100.00 for just the gasket replacement. The next day I took my vehicle to a mechanic for a second opinion. When it was on the lift the mechanic pointed out that my oil filter was never changed. There was no need to change the gasket. The oil leak problem was from the oil filler tube which was fixed with a $20.00 part. I brought my vehicle back to Tires Plus. They replaced the oil filter and gave me a full refund. A previous time that I had my vehicle serviced there, they had a remark on the invoice saying that my battery will soon need attention. I had my battery replaced there just a few months before. DO NOT COME HERE!! There are 6 other tire places in the area worth driving to. This is my second time here and both times I've had an issue. I had a nail in my tire and I came to purchase a new one. They changed the opposite tire and left the nail in the tire I came to get fixed. I return the next day after because the issue I came for was not solved. They told me I'd have to wait an hour but I came yesterday for an hour to fix this issue. I asked for the tire they took off yesterday because it was fine and they claimed they couldn't find it. More than an hour later I'm still here. If you have time to waste and want more issues this is the place for you. They gave me a card but all of the cards have the same number, ask for corporate numbers. You'll accomplish more. read more

Well that was an experience and not in a good way. Manager was nice and tried to fix the problem that the mechanic observably could care less about. Mechanic couldn't figure out why my truck wouldn't start... I'm the detective who figured out it was bc the battery was dead. Seriously? Then mechanic just walks away. I get it you want to go home, but do your freaking job. Like I mentioned manager did everything in his power to fix the problem and was very apologetic which is the only reason I'm giving two stars. This place is horrendous. I was given a quote for 60$ on the phone, it went to 100$ when I came there. By the time I got my car back I paid 140$ for a meaningless job. Complete and total rip off. They charged me a 20$ diagnostic fee when I told them what the problem was and where to find it!!!! Almost forgot to mention, they never called me to tell me my car was ready. I just got back from Tires Plus in Cooper City and I am so disappointed!!!! I had called last night and told them the make and model of my vehicle . I told them I was ordering tires from Tire rack and having them delivered to them . I wanted them installed and balanced only. I asked the price and was told 20.00 per tire, I asked what was the disposal fee and the balance fee. I was told it was included in the price. I asked were there any additional fees and was told taxes only on the 80.00 fee for 4 tires. Due to this price I finished ordering the tires and went in today when they called to tell me they arrived. The price was very important to me because we are on a fixed income because my husband is disabled with Parkinson's. When I checked in they had changed the price on me. the bill would be over 115.00! And told me to purchase the alignment, i told him no thank you. I was shocked and said but you told me 20.00 per tire! He lied and said he said he said between 20.00 to 25.00, That was absolutely not true!!! Because my husband could not put 4 tires (who is in a walker) or myself in our SUV. I felt like we had no choice but to pay. When I asked where they put the lug nut key after they finished, the young man who lied to me, was very rude and said shortly" in the back" I asked again where in the back is it, ? I have a lot of stuff in the back and did not want to loose it. He again was rude and said "in the back!" I was getting scared at this point and asked again but where in the back? He finally asked the mechanic where he put it and he he said in the glove compartment. So then they asked us to go to our SUV through the back of the garage part. My husband is in a walker!!! So we had to go through the oil and debris on the garage floor, very dangerous!!!! The mechanic did try to move some things out of the way, he was nice. but that is ridiculous!!! I got home and inspected the tires and the 2 of the valve stem covers were loose! I will NEVER recommend this place again!! All 4 of my adult children get there cars serviced here and most of my friends, but after I told them all how we were treated they will not be giving their business to them!!!
