From wildly flailing air hoses to jamming too many cars in a one hole door, to poorly mounted, over pressured and out of round tires, stripped and lost lugs hub caps and motor mounts from improper jacking ...the list goes on. Avoid at all costs. PS...Hi Ed...you still owe me a mirror assembly, 3 lug nuts, my mom's hub caps, a paint job, and maybe give that poor guy his face back after that loose air hose hit him about 400 times in 3 seconds after he grabbed it to protect a nearby car.

Gave Lakeside Tire a call at 4.45 PM one day, the next the tires were in and installed on 2 wheels an hour after dropping them off and they squeezed them in between jobs. Saved me so much time and trouble driving all the way up to Roanoke from Westlake. Great service and a great price. Definitely recommend if you need tires replacing whether you get them there or not.

It was very clear there was no attempt to up sell anything and the differences between the various tires I had an option of were spelled out very clearly. They not only did the service requested but added one additional item at no charge because the owner just thought it would be the best thing for the life of the tires. They also offer free life of the tires rotation at the appropriate interval if you have purchased the tires from them. To me honesty is the most important aspect but when it comes with excellent less expensive service that is pretty hard or impossible to beat.

The salesman came over to offer me assistance. Out of curiosity, I asked about a price on getting tires and a set of 18" chrome rims. He gave me the info I asked for, but then suggested 20 inch rims. He took the rim out to my car to put it up against it to give me an idea of what it would look like. I loved it, only problem was that I was afraid of the cost and I hadn 't planned on purchasing anything that day, just wanted to get a ball park figure of what it would cost and I would come back for the purchase. The salesman asked me if he could get me a good deal that day would I purchase them then. I said maybe. So he gave me an offer I could not refuse! Walked out with my tires and rims THAT DAY and paid much less than I had imagined! I have even had to take my car back a few times because of some "rubbing" that occurred on my back fender when weight was in the back. Each time I took my car back, they were on point and determined to get it right. So my car is looking SLICK with my new 20" rims and NO rubbing at all! Though they were very busy during the time I needed help, they stayed professional and were still very friendly and courteous, which means everything!!! The day of my appointment I had to work in their office, they gave me their wifi password, I was planning on using my hotspot. They offered to let me use their car or drive me to go get lunch. This is the first time I have ever been so pleasantly surprised by a service company that I want to…read moredo something in return as a show of gratitude. Here goes... Needing to replace two front tires, and deciding to do so today, I contacted a few tire service businesses for product recommendations, quotes and time frame for installation for same-day service. Having been recommended by a long-time resident of Henry County, one of my calls was to Riverside Tire Service. Answering on the second ring, a kind and professional sounding gentleman, named Andy, took my call. He was patient and polite with my questions, and he was quick to review their inventory and to recommend a tire (similar to the ones I had on the car) that not only met my requests for performance and price, but exceeded them. At no point did he try to sell me services I did not inquire of, or more expensive tires. He told me what to expect for price and installation time (today by the way), and he was nearly exact on both counts. He estimated my total bill within $1.95 accuracy, and the entire service visit lasted 10 minutes less than what he told me to plan for on the phone (30 minutes). When I arrived (at most service center's lunch time), I was immediately greeted with a smile by a friendly man at the service garage desk. He was possibly a manager. A mechanic was headed in our direction and showed this manager obvious regard and respect, silently listening to what was asked of him, hands clasped behind his back, CLEAN and (possibly) uniformed (no black hands, untucked shirt, or disrepectful attitude or unecessary commentary). He took my keys and got right to work moving my car while manager person grabbed a hand truck (could the manager have been gathering my tires? You don't see that often!) and showed me to a waiting area where I "would be much more comfortable". Comfortable I was, in a very clean and climate controlled waiting room stocked with free coffee and magazines for any interest I might have. The room was comfortable and clean. I noticed a guest wifi network available, but did not ask to use it as my stay was so short. Two similarly friendly women working in the office section greeted me kindly and were expedient and thorough when my ticket arrived for payment processing. Conveniently, the ticket arrived and was processed just prior to the mechanic's completion. It gets better. The same nice man who greeted me walked me to my car, OPENED MY CAR DOOR FOR ME, and told me my tire indicator light would be on briefly assuring me it would soon go away. Within less than a mile the indicator light went off. My drive was so much smoother, and I am very pleased with how much better the car handles with my new tires. I also find the tires attractive and handsomely paired with the other two I will have replaced by Riverside Tire in the future. I applaud this business. Thank you for going above and beyond in all areas of customer service. In a time when "outstanding customer service" is more a catch phrase than a true mission statement, you set a standard for comparison. I am not in any way related to, friends with, or even aquaintanced with anyone affiliated with this business. I will not give my name as I want no recognition for this, one, and, two, fully anticipate the same level of service regardless of this review. I write this sincerely and with 100% honesty as a show of gratitude for the kindness and high level of service shown to me as a first time, mid-grade tire customer treated like a long time customer of the most expensive tires made. I will see Riverside again and many times more.

I went in told the service guy I was hearing a noise and car would shake when I applied my brakes…read more The service guy drove my car down the road and said that I needed new brakes so he put brakes on my car. When I left the shop I was still hearing a squeaking sound when applying my brakes I thought maybe it was because they were new. It went on for about 2 months so I had my husband to take it another local tire shop and they tell him my rotors are bad and my 2 front tires are wearing on the inside. The service guy said this had to of been obvious to whoever put my brakes on. This was the first time I had received bad service from Riverside, usually they provide excellent service but I don't think I will be going back to Riverside.

I called in to order tires and David gave up a sale by saying I could get them cheaper myself and then bring them in, honest advice which saved me money at his own expense. Once I brought the tires in to be mounted/balanced, he charged me $7.00 a tire for a mount/balance/new valve stem, which is less than half of what wal-mart charges. If you're in the Ferrum area, please give your business to this awesome local shop, it's cheap and it supports good honest people!

Well, let the nightmare begin. I get a call that my keys don't communicate with the vehicle, funny, I never had any problems and neither did the tow truck driver the day BEFORE I got this call. So they say they have to remove ONE BOX for it to work. I say ok your the PROFESSIONAL do what you think is supposed to be done to fix my car. Well, that leads to wires being cut, fuse box disconnected and left like that, 3 computers being deprogrammed, and I STILL have not gotten a diagnosis. Not to mention they tried to charge me for a diagnosis they NEVER did and charged me $80 to tow my vehicle from one lot to one right next to it. So thanks to this garage, my vehicle needs a $1600 wiring harness, 3 computers reprogrammed, and only God knows what else because this is where the new mechanic got before I had to tell him to stop because I now have to get rid of the vehicle in the state it is in because I can't afford repairs that this garage has caused on top of the problem they NEVER even diagnosed. I am now out a vehicle to get my kids around thanks to Auto Tech. Oh and when I came in to tell them what the initial problem with my motor was doing, the sounds it made and how it acted, the confused look on supposed to be experienced mechanics, should have been my sign to take my vehicle elsewhere. Just be cautious of sending your vehicle here, if I hadn't I'm almost certain I would have my car back by now, instead I'm out $5,000 for the car that we just bought in February, and time, and a way to get my kids where they need to go.
