I highly recommend this place for tires and automotive needs.

I called around a few places locally but nobody had the right sized tires available used. Finally I got a hold of Barry Lee's and the employee I spoke to on the phone (who also happened to be very polite) told me they did have the right tires in stock And they were $40 apiece, including installation. I brought the car in the next morning and they were able to get me in almost right away. One of their guys showed me a few different options and let me pick the ones that looked best. I was in and out of there quickly with a very decent set of used tires for a great price. One note: this place is very old-school. Imagine the exact opposite of an antiseptic, corporate Firestone. The guy I assume to be the owner is a biker type, and the place is a bustling, cluttered garage. Personally I love this kind of business and it's a bummer that shops like this are pretty much a dying breed. Highly recommended for honest prices and good service.

Before I begin this review let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my…read morepersonal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's go!!. My wife and daughter was looking for a place to get my daughter's car tire looked at because she had a slow leak in her rear driver side tire. So they found this place and my wife asked me to go with our daughter so the possibility of her getting swindled was little to none with me accompanying her here!. When I arrived ( my daughter got here before me ) she said they told her to park on the side so they could look at it, the gentleman looked at the tire size and asked us to follow him and showed us a used tire then asked what the issue was and then proceeded to investigate the leak in the tire. After further inspection he found out it was a piece of sharp bent up metal lodged into her tire that was causing the slow air leakage. The gentleman immediately said he could fix it which was a major plus because her tires were basically new and had a a lot of tread on them! After he pulled the metal out and plugged the hole it was as good as new and he stated it would last the full length of the tire life. I will say this was a quick and convenient transition by this gentleman, he was polite the whole way through and also asked how my daughter and I was doing today when we first arrived!. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but his professionalism was through the roof during this short transaction of getting my daughter's tire plugged up! They also let us know they had free air ( which is hard to find anywhere nowadays )! Other than Wawa I don't know anywhere else that offers free air anymore. Paying for air is preposterous but that another topic for another review on another day! I would definitely return and I'm sure my daughter will too. I would also recommend anyone in the area to give them your business if you're in the need of tire repair, they're reasonable and professional, knowledgeable and conveniently located with two different locations! If you're interested just look them up!

In February, I brought my car to an auto shop to get a diagnostic check when it started to make…read morenoises. Turns out it needed the inner and outer tire rods on the front tire replaced and tire struts on the front and a few others to be worked on (hood struts and brake fluid included). The total amount they gave me for repairs was over $2,000. Way too much for yours truly. So I decided to look around for a tire shop that can be able to do this type of work. Luckily, I found this shop after calling around. Would I find luck at the end of the tunnel with this outfit? On two occasions, I stopped here to have the major work done, particularly the left tire rods and tire struts. The best part about this place is they allow you to bring your own parts and all they do is have you pay for labor costs, which are half of what I would've been charged at the auto shop. Besides have major done done, I also requested for the hood struts and brake fluid to be replaced, all for a very reasonable price. They also did a tire realignment. After everything was completed, the car runs much better on the road. No major noises to be reported. Both appointments took just over 2 hours, which was no big deal at all. It's pretty cool to find a reliable place that is reasonable for repairs. Thank God this is one of them. They'll be in my contact list the next time any work needs to be done. Till next time :)
