So Sad, I really wanted to like this place Until I found out that they replaced my tire with one that was so old the dealership warned of it being unsafe :( I had no idea of knowing this, because they reversed the tire positioning - date was on the inside of the car...seemed slightly deceitful :( but no telling what really happened there - just know that you should check the date on the tire they put on your car - and also know how old is TOO old, as I honestly had no idea there was a specific date range for a healthy tire - thought it only had to do with use - tread looked fine, but it's more than that... Be safe and aware - price was reasonable, but not if you'll have to replace it again! read more

This isn't your typical chain or city shop. There's no waiting room or tv. It's your "get it done" shop, which I love! No hassling to get other things done. No BS. Javier was awesome. He answered my questions and made the best deal. He listened to my requests and agreed which never happens with females. I would give 5 stars, but I don't know how long these tires will last. I called the day before to see if they had my tires in stock (I drive a Honda Fit) and the cost was fairly cheap, about $55. I unfortunately had a screw in the wall of my tire & it was completely flat, The next day I went in and let me tell you, this was the quickest & most efficient service I have ever experienced when it comes to tires. There were 3 people ahead of me when I arrived at 9am (their opening time) and I was out by 9:30am. no fuss, no issues. Just direct service and hard working people. I've been using these guys for my company's fleet for a while now. Always seemed like a good spot. I took my personal car in last week, and had the front tires replaced. They put the wrong size tires on my vehicle that seems to have done damage on a road trip to my suspension. Not sure if it is the tires that did damage or not. Point being when I asked for a refund they refused, and the owner was in no way nice about it. I ruined my tires by trying to put air in them from the gas station. Short story short, they became pretty low because there was more air going out than in. So I quickly drive over to Tire Sales Co. and they were so nice to refill the tires and send me on my way. Very pleasant and very accommodating folks. read more

Changed a tire and tightened the nuts too tight. Could not change the tire on the side of the road in the pissing rain so had to call roadside assistance to get the nuts off which cost $160. They admitted to the mistake but would not pay the costs of the $160. Will never use these guys again and I will be taking this further. Complete dump I can see why they are dirt cheap read more

My new used tires place! Yes it's in hunter's point or bayview or whatever - Just get over yourself, it's not so bad, just go there in the day time. They have piles of tires. They let me pick whichever one I wanted. I have a somewhat unusual tire size, and all the other places were out of stock. These guys had a dozen of that size stacked up! I chose one that had fantastic tread. If you go there to buy a used tire, be sure that you choose one that either has not been patched, or has been patched to your satisfaction. Also notable that they dunk it in water (in addition to spin balancing et al) to make sure there is no leak, which shows you they really want to make sure that you walk away satisfied. read more

Located in not the best neighborhood. Using the nicest words as possible, located across the street from the hood. Sketchy folks walking around literally in the middle of the street. Might have to take a pitbull or safety bat with you around here. If you need cheap used tires. The place to be. And they work fast. Had a flat on a saturday. Came here, 2 cars in line before me. Needed to patch a tire. Guy says $20, because your car has a tire monitor sensor. Literally 5 minutes later, paid the guy $25 including tip, and drove away. read more

The guys were polite and super quick-don't think we were there for more than 10 minutes. They replaced my rear driver side tire with a used one for $40 (labor included). They also put my opposite hubcap back on and replaced my spare in my trunk space. In and out, super cheap. Fantastic. read more

Very bad business and horrible customer service. I have patronized this business for years purchasing used tires for my vehicles. As a single mother this place offered me a way to save when I could not afford to buy brand new tires elsewhere. I purchased a tire for my vehicle but had to have AAA put it on at my home. I did not drive on it and parked the vehicle in my driveway. The very next day the tire was on a complete flat. At the time I did not have the time or patience to have it taken off by AAA and return for an exchange. I went yesterday and explained to the owner along with my receipt and a pic of the flattened tire requesting an exchange and he refused. So now I am out of the $70 for the bad tire and now need to find a better place to purchase one at a comparable or better price. So sad and unfortunate that this business treats its loyal customers so poorly. read more

UPDATE- One of the 2 used tires I bought at Tire Sales Co. went flat a week later, after a brisk 30 mile drive. After buying 2 brand new tires elsewhere, I brought it back with my receipt and told them what happened and they refunded my money after returning their tires! These guys were able to help me when after calling around I found out no one else could. They have good quality merchandise at a very fair price. I was able to get a single tire replaced with the equal tread of my generally Muir tires. I was very reluctant to buy two new tires when I still had a perfectly good one. Saved me some good money. This is business is a little ways out into Hunter's Point but they've been around for a while and offer the BEST prices for used tires. I got a flat yesterday night and most of my tires are a little past the 50% tread mark. I didn't want to replace my flat with a new tire so I decided to come here.
