5-Star Review - Tire Kingdom (Yulee, FL - SR 200 & Hwy 17) I had an incredible experience at Tire Kingdom in Yulee that absolutely deserves recognition. My vehicle showed a low-battery warning, and after having it tested at AutoZone, it was clear the alternator was the issue. I called several shops around 3:30 PM, and most told me they might be able to look at it the next day--or wanted to charge $120 just to "diagnose" the problem I already knew about. When I called Tire Kingdom, I spoke with Theresa, who told me to bring it right in. They checked it immediately, did not charge me for a diagnostic, and the test matched AutoZone's results within minutes. They gave me a couple of price options and even went above and beyond by checking additional parts availability. They found a significantly cheaper alternator at O'Reilly Auto Parts and told me that if I bought it myself, I'd get a lifetime warranty instead of the standard 12-month warranty through them. That kind of honesty is rare. I picked up the part from O'Reilly and brought it back, and within an hour and a half, my vehicle was completely repaired. I absolutely did not expect to have my truck fixed within 2.5 hours of discovering the issue--especially late in the day. The entire team was friendly and professional, but two people really stood out: Theresa and Jarryka (Jerrica). Their customer service was exceptional from start to finish. On Sunday of this week, I was making my way to Florida from North Carolina with my two dogs when I received a warning light on my YukonXL. It needed immediate attention and so I tried to find the nearest auto parts store, hoping someone could tell me what I needed to do. I was in a panic because it was Sunday at lunchtime and I wasn't sure if any stores were even open yet. And I wasn't clear on the warning I received. I found an O'Reillys close by, and thank goodness the clerk DID NOT want to help me and suggested that I go to Tire Kingdom just down the road. I am so thankful that his unwillingness to assist me took me a half mile back up the road to meet a Saint, Saint Justin, who works for Tire Kingdom and who was more than willing to help me out!! Justin reassured me on Sunday morning that there are still good to the core people in this world that want to help others, just to be able to help. He overheard my panicked plea to the receptionist and immediately spoke up, said he'd take a look at it and within 5 minutes, I was back on the road, calm and confident that I'd make the rest of my trip with no problems from my vehicle. Justin was absolutely top notch! Professional, courteous, reassuring and HONEST! If the Tire Kingdom store in Yulee were not 6 hours away from home, I'd take all of my automotive needs to Justin! We took our car there because one tire was low on air and they had fixed it one time before 3 weeks ago. We left the car there overnight and they called us when it was ready. The next day my husband was driving to work 65 mph and all of a sudden the tire went completely flat. He had to put on the donut on the side of the road at 5:30 am in the dark. The tire was so hard to take off it did not seem that they had done that when they "Fixed" it. We went back today and the lady came out to check out the tire and told us the rim was bent so go to the junkyard to get one!! The rim was fine the two previous times we took it in. They were supposed to find that the first time we took it in. She acted like that could not have happened when the tire went flat on the highway at 65 mph. I went to get air put in my tire and they discovered a nail and took care of my car immediately! Jarryka, Robert, and Jagger helped me as soon as I pulled up and again when I walked in the door. After taking my car to the dealer for work unrelated to tires, the dealer advised that I needed new tires and quoted me a ridiculous price. I told them I would take care of it myself. After checking around on prices, I was happy to see that Tire Kingdom had the best prices for quality tires. Knowing how busy they can be, I called and checked for a morning when they had some time. Arrived at 10:30 and was out by noon with new tires and alignment completed. This was the Yulee store in Florida. Nathan, who runs the store, is just the best. These guys rock Had a problem with my Avalanche when fueling. The pump would click off after about 1 gallon pumped. Nathan and Damien really worked hard to locate the issue Defective parts were replaced and all lines were cleaned. Problem solved. It did require more than one visit but the vehicle now fuels as it should. Great attitudes from both men. Initially this was a stellar review however the core fee that wasn't explained to me seems a little dishonest... I planned on see if I can fix my rim. I never stated I had the tire in my possession... they just took my rim out of my car. Never explained until I asked about this 'core" charge. They do very well with reviews for sure. But this is an improvement they can make as I felt my old rim was stolen from me unless I gave them 46$ extra that was never explained... Arty at tire kingdom was extremely helpful and went way beyond what normally is expected from anyone at any business. Very personable and treated the situation as if it was his own. Prices are very reasonable and the service is exceptional!! Thanks Arty for taking the time and following up on our rim issue. He even took his time and called multiple places to resolve our issues. I purchased tires several days before and came in Saturday morning to get the tires put in my vehicle. I dropped the car off and left. I got a call not long after saying that they couldn't find the wheel lock key. I explained that it was in the glove box and was told that they would check again. I called 4 hours later and was told that it would be done in 30-45 minutes when the alignment was done. I showed up an hour later and was told that my car wasn't done and the alignment hadn't been started. When I questioned why it wasn't done I was told that they took a long time to check the glove box so my car got passed over several times. Then I was told that the mechanic went to lunch and my car would not be ready for several more hours. Avoid this place at all costs. They will lie to you and they act like they're doing you a favor for performing a service that you paid for read more

Stopped at tire kingdom to get a stripped lug nut removed. Under new management. Manager had me immediately pull over to the open bay door and removed the lug nut himself. In & out no charge. Also great pricing on oil changes on separate visit. Cheaper then doing it myself read more

Tire a kingdom in Yulee off 200 saved us. We got a screw in our truck tire and had attempted to get it repaired with another tire place only to be told that we had to replace the tire. Tire kingdom was able to fix this tire and got us on our way quickly. I cannot think them enough for their honest and professional service. We will be lifetime customers here. read more

Made an appointment drove there, got there three mins late and they told me that the other person (that didn't have an appointment) is before me that I would have to wait 1 1/2 hours for service. Super rude ! Asked why he said be cause the guy had appointment went and talked to guy and asked him when his appointment was and found out he didn't have one!!! One of the worst experiences I have ever had with regards to any company I have ever dealt with. I had a 5:30pm appointment today for an alignment and I waited until 6:45pm in their waiting area. I got up to stretch and saw my vehicle still parked where I put it. There was an employee behind the register who I waited to talk to. He completely ignored me for over 10 minutes before he walked back into the shop. I waited for him to come back but he never did. I finally went outside in front of the garage and got his attention. He told me that the rack wasn't available until now and they were about to bring it in. I had already been there 90 mins and asked for my keys back. I was never offered an apology. Absolutely no regard to my time. I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

Took my truck in for an oil change. Pretty simple, huh. When I got home and examined the receipt, I noticed they put the wrong weight oil in the motor, so I called them. The manager said they used the oil specified in their computer. I told him his computer was wrong. The correct weight is specified in my owner's manual and even annotated on the filler cap. I don't know if was indifference, incompetence, or just simple human error, but a mistake was made. What bothers me the most is that the manager didn't offer to make it right. He didn't even acknowledge that a mistake was made. I will not trust my vehicle in their care and I suggest you consider my post when looking for auto service. read more

After my husband passed away some years ago, there have been a LOT of things that he normally handled that I had to learn to do. I recently had to put new tires on his truck after dry rot set in. The guys at this Tire Kingdom were prompt, polite, and honest...!!! Do not take your vehicle here if you value it in any way. They serviced my fleet vehicle here several weeks before today and there has been a vibration in the front end at highway speed. They test drove my vehicle in the area testing it for the vibration that I told them happens at "highway speeds" and the speed limit in the are is 45. Oh...he did notice a vibration when stopping. No wonder with the heavy traffic and signals every 1/2 mile. They would not believe me and did nothing, balance the tires like I asked, to repair it. Terrible service and an even worse experience. None of my fleet vehicles will ever see the inside of one of their bays. read more
