I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at what I believed was Tire Kingdom, now apparently operating as Mavis Tires & Brakes without clearly communicating that change to customers. I scheduled an appointment in advance for a brake inspection and was told it would take about 1.5 hours. I arrived at 10:15 AM, yet my vehicle was not taken back until around 11:30 AM. What should have been a routine visit turned into an all-day ordeal. I remained there until after 6 PM, only to be told my vehicle would not be ready and I would need to return the next day. This caused me to miss prior commitments, and at no point did anyone proactively communicate delays or provide updates. While waiting all day, there were no vending machines available, so if you don't bring your own food, you will go without. I had my lunch in my vehicle and asked if I could use a microwave. I was initially told "no," by Sue only to later be told I could use one after speaking with the supervisor. That inconsistency and lack of basic consideration were frustrating after sitting there for hours. At one point, I was even called on my phone by the supervisor David while I was physically sitting inside the waiting area. I had to tell him I was already there and then walk up to the counter. This showed a clear lack of awareness and organization regarding customers in their own lobby. I also observed inconsistent customer service. Other customers were given options such as leaving their vehicle and receiving a call when ready, while I was left waiting all day with little direction. As a long-time customer of over 15 years, I did not feel valued or respected. During the visit, I was quoted over $2,000 for multiple repairs beyond brakes, many of which were not clearly explained. I also experienced repeated upselling attempts, including items unrelated to my concern. Being charged around $165 per hour while also experiencing excessive delays is unacceptable. The following day, I had to call myself for an update on my vehicle, no one contacted me. However, I later received a call asking me about a google review a family member made. Verma the manager then instructed me to have them to remove the Google review, which was very concerning given the lack of communication about my actual service. I felt harassed at that point. This type of behavior is really concerning after seeing my ex coworker Kerri Foley had the same experience after going there for a simple oil change. Mentally this experience caused me insomnia on top of all the other feelings I experienced. Although I was offered a free oil change when I picked up my vehicle, I have no interest in returning. I would rather pay elsewhere than revisit a location where I felt my time was wasted and I was not treated with proper customer care. Customer service, communication, and transparency were all lacking. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location. read more

I recently had an issue with a brand new tire but this location chose not to help me at all. I did not buy the extra road hazard so I essentially completely out of luck with no options outside of buying a brand new tire. The team did not even look at my tire and had no reasonable options. I have had similar issues with a tire a bought from Discount Tire and they did help me out a little (with no road hazard - I do not expect full assistance). Tire Kingdom has no value to me at all and I will never use them again. I highly recommend using another tire distributor. read more

I scheduled an appointment online and had my tires installed at a Tire Kingdom location. The service was completed on time, and the staff recommended additional services, which I declined. However, I was given a total cost before receiving an itemized receipt. Upon reviewing the receipt, I noticed two issues: An extended warranty was added without my consent. There was no discussion about a warranty, and I did not authorize the charge. When I inquired, I was told it's automatically added and that my receipt would serve as proof for future tire repairs--no documentation or terms of the warranty could be provided. Only after involving corporate on the phone did the store agree to remove the charge. The price per tire was $15 higher than the online price I saw when booking the appointment. I was charged $202.99 per tire, while the price on Mavis' website was $187.99. When I raised this discrepancy, I was told the increase was due to the tire being a "premium tire" and that the manufacturer had raised the price. I contacted the manufacturer directly, and they confirmed they had not changed the pricing. Mavis advertises a price match guarantee, so I escalated the issue to corporate. They offered a credit toward a future service, but a refund required store approval. The store manager said he spoke with the regional manager and refused to issue a refund. While the installation itself was satisfactory, the overall experience was disappointing due to unauthorized charges, misleading pricing practices, and lack of transparency. Both David and the store manager seemed well-practiced in handling these types of complaints, which leads me to believe this may be a recurring issue. Once he saw the car in person, he said that he could patch the tire, but because of the alignment, I'd need a new one in about a month. I scheduled an appointment at 9:00 AM. Had to wait 3 hours for a routine oil change. Ridiculously inflated charges at over $200 for oil change and cabin filter. They wanted to due my pads and rotors for over $900 . Will never go there again. BTW on day of service the AC was broken. read more

The mechanic there saved my life by pointing out that a part that I put on was the wrong part for my vehicle and that it wasn't all the way on and so I was able to go home switch the part out for the correct part and come back, but if it wasn't for him spotting that I could've seriously gotten hurt in a car accident, and they didn't try to railroad me into buying parts off of them I'll be using them from now on read more

We had 3 appointments scheduled for an oil changes and alignments at the Royal Palm Beach store on State Road 7 on Saturday, 6/10 and Monday, 6/12. When we arrived at the Tire Kingdom Store the door were locked both time. An employed pulled up today to let us know that Tire Kingdom had been sold. Whoever acquired Tire Kingdom has no regard for their customers and should have put a message on the website or a sign at the store says sorry we are closed. We will never have any of our cars services at Tire Kingdom and will let all of our friend know that the acquiring company could care less about their customers. They also have no idea on how to integration a company and not lose customers. I RECOMMEND USING TIRE CHOICE JUST NORTH OF BELVEDERE ROAD IN STEAD OF USING TIRE KINGDOM!!!!! Brought my car in for front brakes. Unfortunately, I needed front and back brakes. Varna (manager) told me and showed me how my brakes looked. He wanted to make sure I knew he wasn't trying to add more items on my bill. I really appreciated that since there aren't a lot of places that would do that. I picked up my car that night and felt different to me. I called them right away and they told me to bring it in right away the next morning. Carey got me in right when I got there. They looked at it and said there was nothing wrong and explained to me why I might feel like they are off. They made me feel more at ease. I would give them 10 stars if I could!! read more

I walked in for a quote and it was a slow day so they (Carey and Varma) offered to have my tires put on while I wait. The price was reasonable so I had it done. The car was ready even sooner than the time given. These two guys were quite personable and professional. The morning of 7/18 I received a call saying systems are down due to new company taking over. Okay, no big deal since Chris offered to call back or reschedule for the same time the following day. I called back around 11 and spoke to Lou who said sorry we're booked the following day as well and said I made an appointment with the old company as if it's my fault. When I came into Tire Kingdom, it seemed fresh and bright on the inside. The staff is always so friendly and willing to go the extra mile for the customer. Took car in for a flat tire at Tire Kingdom on Northlake Blvd. Had an appointment for 11 AM in Mid October 2023 and went to lunch. Came back to see they were changing the oil and filter which I didn't want. Told them and said I only wanted the flat tire fixed. They did that but broke the tire pressure sensor. In total it took 4 hours to fix the flat before I got my car back. They told me they would order a new sensor from Lexus. I called back 2 days later and they said it was in. I brought the car back and it took them 2 hours to put in in. I noticed when leaving the red alert for low tire was not off so I went back in to talk to Daniel (an associate) and he said the light would go off after I drive 15 MPH. Guess what it didn't. The manager David said it was a defective part and he would order another one and would let me know when it came in. It's now 2 weeks and I haven't heard from anyone. I since have ordered a part from Lexus and will get it installed from someone else. It will probably cost me around $150 to $200 to fix the problem they made. It is now 11/10/23 and my tire they fixed is going flat again. I didn't drive it because I I was concerned about the tire warning. I have a second car so it wasn't a problem. I am furious that I lefted my Truck here on Sunday, March 4, and they took 5 hours and all they ended up doing was an oil change and alignment. They told me it would be done by 2, I called them up at 3:15 asking if it was done, they told me "30 mins and it will be done by 4, when they close". I arrived at 4 and they still told me "it wasn't done and I had to wait another 30 mins". I go to complain and all the Manager; Richard Browning, could do is give me a free oil change (value of $70). Oh, we have to order it from another store. We call you tomorrow (Monday). We got the price "locked in", as the Tire Kingdom Agent called it, and gave us the printout too. Monday Tuesday and even Wednesday came and still no call. We called the shop and to our surprise: "...aaaaaww no we don't have such tires. .. Right, you were supposed to order them and call us Monday. Today is Wednesday already! ... Who did you spoke with? .... Sorry, we didn't ask the agent's name shorter kid, ..... aaaah, yea, he is on vacation from Monday." Well then. What a shit service!!!!!! We went and got the tires at a different place. I have to say Tire Kingdom on State Rd 7 in Royal Palm has been so amazing! They have really helped me out. Most recently I had a small hole in my tire and I was on my way home to my kids to give them lunch and I was just able to make it to Tire Kingdom and they all took care of me immediately so I could get back to my kids. They were busy but took time out for me. My phone was also not working. That is why I left home in the first place to go get help for my phone. So they also let me use their personal phone so I could get in contact with my kids. Daniel (the store manager I think), tried to plug the tire the old fashioned way because that would be the fastest but when that didn't work they patched it and I was in and out in about 20 minutes to get back to my kids. They have no idea how much I appreciated the time they took to help me so quickly. So I thank them sooo much! Bad experience here. Made an appointment, still waited 2 hrs for them to put new tires on my car. Not only that they broke two tire pressure sensors and ruined one of my lug nuts. Had to come back to Get the sensors fixed which was supposed to be 20 min into over 2 hours again. On top of that the manager was rude. I would not recommend this location read more

Destroyed a whole brand new set of rims by putting balance weights on the outside of the riminside, figured they were smart enough to install them on the inside of the rim. So brand new rims on brand new truck ruined. They wouldn't even attempt to make it up to me. read more
