So after the first review, two things have happened: I returned to get some suspension work done and I was lied to. I bought the part from BMW and returned to get work done, but the guys who quoted me wasn't there and the new guy said I needed another part and wouldn't do the work. I went to a European mechanic shop and they fixed it for a fraction of what this Tire Kingdom tried to charge me. Second, I went to another Tire Kingdom to replace my other two tires, and they are charging me nearly $200 less for tires and installation. I had him check after he gave me my quote, and he compared the two... which was embarrassing. Now I see what the other reviews were about. I won't be returning to this location. read more

I called the 239 area code listed on their website to make an appointment for 4 new tires. After a lengthy phone conversation, I was promised $680 for everything, as well as a $90 mail-in rebate. When I arrived at the location, I was told my total was $739. I told the man that I was promised $680 when I called. He told me I must've called the call center in NY. I was at their mercy as I already paid $25 to have the tires delivered and needed the tires before Thanksgiving travel. Anyway, I just went online to get my rebate and GUESS WHAT? I ran over a giant bolt and blew my back tire out and the spare on my Jeep happened to be a flat as well... major bad luck and needed a flat bed tow and picked Tire Kingdom because it was close. SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS PLACE! Gloria at the front desk is so kind and attentive and will walk you through anything you need. Technicians came back to give me updates and ask me questions as they worked on putting 4 new tires on my Jeep and putting the 3 good old ones in my trunk to keep. Very professional and zero issues! First the good. Kudo's to Service Manager Kyle for treating me with respect and as a valued longtime customer of TK (over 5 years). The bad....Tire Kingdom was recently bought by Mavis and Mavis could give two ****s about Loyalty. I've been getting my oil changed and tires rotated for the past 5 years at Tire Kingdoms in the Naples area... usually about $25. Today, same exact service with the only thing different being that Mavis bought TK.....$80! ....If you are good with math you'll see that's $55 higher for the same exact service I got just a few months ago. Kyle used his authority to give me a fair price. Mavis.....you should be ashamed of yourselves for letting suits dictate pricing for services. Put that in the hands of your people who work at the store and can tell you what a fair price is. If Mavis end game is to lose all the (former) loyal customers, a 125% price increase is a surefire way to do so. I can't say whether I'll be back...But I can say that I'll be shopping for a better deal. Mavis is going to ruin this once-decent business. Mavis: Hint....we customers who come to you for a cheap oil change and tire rotation also come back to spend a little extra dime when our cars need tires or AC work, or some other repair....but you know, like most smart savvy customers, I will be looking for another oil /tire place that I can spend my money at. read more

Be careful with these guys. Got a simple oil change and a week later discovered oil all under the underside of my car. Paid another shop to clean the mess up, and replace the worn out drain plug gasket which the TK tech should have seen. Demanded a refund for the oil change and are still considering filing a claim with corporate TK for the clean up cost. What a mess. This put my car's engine at risk! read more

Brought in my own new tires to have them installed, balance and have them installed in the front of my truck and align the front end. This was in late February and noticed the the steering wheel shimmy at around 58 mph. Called and made an appointment to have it checked out. Attendant told me since I brought in my own tires there was no warranty on any work perform on my truck. Then told me that all four tires needed to be re balanced. I told him that the rear tires were purchased at the store and should be under warranty. He told me that TK was bought out and the warranty was void. I called ahead and asked for an oil change. The gentlemen I spoke with said I would have to wait a little while being they were booked up. When I showed up at 1pm the gentlemen then said I have to wait until 7. That's not a little while that's an entire day. I would've made arrangements but I went ahead and drove here across town thinking maybe an hour or two or even 3 hours would have been fine but an entire day. This is the second time I have TRIED to come in an get an alignment and both times left angry. Carlos has no customer service skills and when I made the appointment for 4:30pm online there were no problems. Came in and again he said I don't know why it let you make a reservation because I have more cars to be done for an alignment. Now if I am mistaken aren't appointments used to secure your spot to get service done in the allotted time? But was quoted as about 3 hours from my appointment to be finished. This is ridiculous! Like I said this is the second time I have tried to get this done months apart and the same thing has happened. Last Thursday (7/10/19) I took two rims and new tires to get mounted and balanced to the 4757 golden gate pkwy tire kingdom location. After the first wheel was finished they brought it out and I immediately noticed that the wheel had been damaged, scratched and slightly gouged. After complaining to the counter employee he got his assistant manager who was terrible at trying to address the problem. He became irritated and insinuated that I had damaged the wheel prior to bringing it to his shop. His response was to tell me to leave without paying, I wasn't looking for anything free so I still payed the bill, the assistant manager never came back out to offer some kind of solution (repairs or replacement) not even an apology for the damage. I would rate nothing if I could worse service ever. I went for a tire change and they give me my car back with all my sensors missed up. Instead of fixing the problem, they didn't do anything. I came here because my tire was leaking and the guy told me he wasn't going to even check the pressure because there was a ring around the tire and it needed to be replaced. Then told me they didn't have the tire in stock and would take 3 days to get in but had a cheaper option in stock. I said no I want the same time. So he ordered it and scheduled for me to have it put on. When I got there he ordered the cheaper tire not the one I paid for. Would never go back. I don't like to give 1 star reviews but sadly this place has earned it. It was not a well run or organized place, they had 3 hour waits for any service needed. After making an appointment and coming back, they tried to pressure me into purchasing more services while my car was on the lift. They also tried to blame me for the engine light being on when it was one of their workers not putting everything back together correctly before giving me my car back. Also I think their alignment machine needs to be calibrated because I got my alignment done there as well and it was not good. I had to get it redone else where. If you do go here, please be careful and check your car to make sure everything was performed correctly. I would also call ahead to re-verify their wait times before you end up waiting several hours for them to work on your car. read more

I setup a 2pm appointment and when I got there they told me the wait was 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait even though I had an appointment. This place is horrible. The staff is miserable and terrible at communicating. People are waiting to speak to someone and they just walk in and out of the lobby with their head down avoiding everyone. Had my vehicles tires changed. That same day the rear end of my vehicle was violently shaking back and forth on the highway, or at any high speed. I could have lost control of the car and died.... I take it back to them and they totally deny it had anything to do with them. They said I ran something over and messed it up. I never ran anything over and it literally started happening after they touched my car. Never going back to this place. This review is for a visit about a year ago. I recall getting talked into nearly $1000 worth of repairs, which in hind sight, I really don't know if I actually needed or if they took me for a ride. I was talked into the Tire Kingdom credit card, which had no interest for the first six months, and then HUGE interest fees after that. I haven't been back, nor do I plan on going back. Even I had an appointment I still waited hours until my vehicle was put on the car lift. After servicing and alignment my car had the same problems and i had to take it somewhere else. Our Toyota Prius requires synthetic 0w/20 oil per the warranty and we had a coupon for synthetic oil for $49.95, so we booked an oil change. They put in 5w/30 synthetic blend oil that would have voided our warranty.
