At my last visit to the Tire Kingdom on 192, I asked them to install an after market Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) in my car. This requires installing sensors in each of my four tire rims, so they had to partially remove the tires from the rims. I discovered that the front desk associate and the mechanic were very familiar with the hardware I brought to them and had the new TPMS installed in less than an hour. I was also very pleased that these folks at this Tire Kingdom only charged me about $60.00 ($15.00 per wheel) for the installation, which is very reasonable, and less expensive than anybody else that offered to do the installation for me. read more

We've been using the Tire Kingdom location on New Haven Ave for almost 3 years now. We have three vehicles that get regular oil changes, tire rotations, and overall checks. I took my son's car today for the normal cycle and was told that we needed a new battery. We purchased the battery 2 months and 7 days ago at an Auto Zone in Savannah, GA. We took the car over to Auto Zone to have them check it as well since it would be under warranty, and their tester showed that everything was fine. I am incredibly disappointed in the service we were provided today, and it makes me question all of the other times that I have trusted the Tire Kingdom mechanics and purchased the additional items and services they recommended based on their inspections. My husband has told me that they were just trying to upsell me, but I am all for allowing a specialist to recommend something that will keep my family members safe in their vehicles. Management needs to determine what went wrong today, if equipment needs to be replaced, and if staff need additional training. The front desk person, Aubrey, made sure to tell me that 'it works for her' that we will no longer bring our three vehicles to this establishment. read more

Had a great experience with Tire Kingdom. I had taken it to another shop and was told I'd need to replace all of the rotors and we're going to charge me big $$, and couldn't figure out why my tires were making a weird noise. Within a few hours, Tire Kingdom figured out that one of the wheel bearings needed to be replaced and only the front brake pads needed to be done. They saved me over $1000 and got rid of the loud noise that the other location couldn't figure out. Thanks to Aubrey and the "tire master" for a great experience. read more

I was having problems with my a/c. It was blowing warm air. The technician supposedly ran an a/c diagnostic and then proceeded to tell me that all of the seals were broken and that I needed a new a/c compressor, which was just replaced less than a year prior! I ended up taking the car to a relative who was a mechanic. He took a look at a few things and it turns out it was a slight electrical problem and there was NO seal break, NO leak, and the compressor was running just fine! Don't go to this place! They will lie to you and try to cheat you out of your money! Wasted nearly $80, time out of my day, and almost lost another $900 to these scam artists! I'll never return! read more

These guys literally saved my butt! My Shelby GT500 stalled out towards the end of a long road trip just as I was about to turn onto I-95 South, and wouldn't start again. This was at about 3 pm this past Veterans Day and the were open. AAA towed me there and they did a diagnostic. Turned out to be a problem with the neutral Safety Switch and they easily adjusted it, and got me back on the road in virtually no time. They were very honest, could've told me I needed this part or that part, but they didn't. If you're looking for an honest and reliable auto repair shop in this area, I highly recommend! read more

Complete waste of time. I went into the store to get a quote for brake and rotors to compare to another quote. I had the paperwork in hand that had the list of materials. The guy refused to even give a quote without doing a full inspection. All I wanted was to see if they were in the ball park before I wasted my time. I guess aggressive sale games work for them most of the time but I will walk out in a heart beat. I was able to receive quotes over the phone from their competitors which they obviously states that is was subject to further inspection. It is ok to be stupid....but I have a real problem with rude and stupid. Update: out of curiosity, I called the tire kingdom 2 miles from the store I initially went to and they gave me a quote over the phone. read more

Came at around 1:30, told me 2 and a half hours to get my tire, it's 5:30 I grab my car and take my chances with the nail in it. If I already gave you 4 hours, what would make you ask me for another 20 minutes of my time and think I'd say "Absolutely." This is the first time I have written a review, and after my experience with Bobby and Manny, I felt compelled to share with everyone. Bobby was helpful and trustworthy. I had glass in my tire and they took care of it, without hesitation, no charge since it didn't puncture through the tire. I had maintenance done at the Tire Kingdom on New Haven. Everything seemed fine. Then a few days later one of my hub caps came off somewhere in town. The person that rotated my tires must of taken them off. But didn't take their time putting them back. I also noticed one of my other hubcaps wasn't on properly either. I'm surprised that one didn't come off as well. Anyway I went back into store. Explained I was just there. They worked on car. No one else had touched it. So the guy at counter said they would pay for replacement of hubcap. They would order it and call me when it came in. Well that was an apparent lie. I called after week. And they said not yet probably next Monday. Monday came and nothing. Another week. No didn't come in yet. And so on. He was just humoring me. I should have known better. They weren't going to pay for their sloppy work. I won't be giving my business to this store again. Not trustworthy. read more

I stopped at Tire Kingdom a couple weeks ago to have the air pressure of my tires checked, and sure enough they found a screw in my tires. Since I had two little children with me I was very thankful that they fit me right in. Everything was done in about 30 minutes. No longer take walk-ins, scheduled apt for 10 AM for tire rotation and balance (2 days ago), was told running a couple of minutes behind. Went to get vehicle at 11:45, was told they would be pulling it out shortly - problem was, they hadn't even taken my vehicle back yet?! What is that? No courtesy of a phone call, nothing! When asked what is the point of making an appointment if they aren't going to honor the appointment time anyway? The man just shrugged his shoulders! No apology, no nothing! BEWARE! Worst customer service I've ever experienced plus stole my phone charging cord. John (claims he's a manager) seems completely burnt out yet tries to come off like he cares about the customers but he definitely does not! I had the misfortune to have my car towed there with a flat tire and the entire experience was horrible right from the start. First, John attempted to help me but acted annoyed and had limited communication skills or was too stressed out to. He first tells me he has ONE tire to offer me at one price but then we were actually charged a different price. Nor could he explain in detail about the tires other than what he read on his screen. In the middle of him helping me, his co-workers start talking to him so he stops and starts helping them which I found extremely rude. The entire visit went downhill from there. We ended up buying 4 tires as I was stuck there with no other choice unless I had my car towed again at my expense which they knew. I was told it would be a "while" before they got to my car, I was there for 4 HOURS! With my dogs who were in the car when I got the flat. I could have had my dogs picked up if I'd known they were going to have me there that long! They took EVERY car ahead of me, one lady who wasn't even there waiting and didn't come back to get her car until 6:30pm while I sat there waiting. Finally, at almost 7pm they finish my car then after leaving I find my phone charger cord was STOLEN!!! (this is the second time this has happened in FL at a car place) Called John the next day and he DID NOT CARE ONE BIT... .and told me there was nothing he could do for me. I don't know how this guy is allowed to work with the public and became a manager. They were EXTREMELY SHORT staffed which doesn't surprise me with a manager like that, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a hard time retaining workers. I made an appointment to have my oil changed and to have the belts that you installed looked at because they have begun squealing when I start my car and take off. My appointment was for 11:30 this morning and I showed up at 11:20. When the belts were installed, the man at the counter said that new belts will stretch and start to squeal and to come in for a belt adjustment anytime. When I arrived this morning the gentleman at the counter said that you do not typically adjust belts but that he would have his technician take a look. Once again, this was at the same store that installed my belts and sold me FOUR new tires. I then sat outside for 50 minutes as my car sat in the same spot I parked it in. I became upset while seeing 1 car in the bay and multiple "technicians" just ambling about. I went inside to retrieve my keys so I could leave when one of the two "technicians" lounging in the chairs in the lobby asked if I needed help. I told him I needed my key so I could leave. He told me that he was just about to start working on my car and asked if I wanted a business card to take with me when I had more time to spend. I understand when a shop is busy, but there was one car in the bay and your only qualified to work at Walmart techs were milling about. Apparently, repeat business is not a concern for Tire Kingdom.
