Went in to get a plugged tire properly patched. Only one car there being worked on. I sat down to wait and the guy who came in after me dropped his vehicle off to get one tire. They took his right in, so I waited. Half an hour later they finally took mine in after his was done. So, after another half hour, I was told mine could not be fixed. I waited an hour for nothing. Then they acted surprised I didn't want to buy a tire there. What a waste of my time. read more

Took my Chrysler 300 C into Tire Discounters in Maineville Ohio to get a headlight changed that was burnt out. They told me that it needed a ballast and thats why the headlight was burnt out, They quoted me a price of $1400.00+. So I took it to Kings Chrysler and all it needed was the bulb replaced. I usually get decent service from Tire Discounters, how ever, back in February I took my sons 2017 Malibu in to get the brakes checked because they were squealing when he was breaking, as I thought the breaks were worn and it was suggested to have them replaced. My first question to the manager was are you going to put cheap pads and rotors on it? and if so, I will pay extra for a better set. They assured me that they are using good quality parts. The cost for the rear brakes was around 400.00, and within a few weeks my son was complaining that they were squealing almost every time he would brake. I suggested that they may need to wear in, and I let it go until July and he finally said he couldn't take it anymore, so I called and took it back, they said the rotors were warped from braking to hard and causing them to squeal. When I said they have been doing it for months they looked at me in disbelief, and claim to have corrected the problem. The same day I took it home my son said it still squeals. This is very disappointing and what really makes me angry is I offered to pay extra for quality products. So Tire discounters may be good at alignments and tires, I don't recommend them doing your brakes. I have been a TD customer since they opened back in early 2000's, and it's not the first time they have disappointed me on brakes. I have bought 4 or 5 sets of tires, had calipers, wheel bearings and axels put on, and it has for the most part been decent work not so much for brakes. So now I will take my sons car somewhere else and have brakes replace again. No more brake from TD. read more

As valued customers we brought our car into the Washington court house store. There we were met with very angry and poor customer service by Mr. Decker the general manager. He told us our less than a year tires were perfect as we heard loud noise. Three weeks later week bring it back into the store and he tells us we need to buy two new tires due to severe wear and new shocks. Thousands of dollars have been spent at this store and never an issue with past managers. This guy has been very rude. Stated that my wife and I have been very rude. Also threw his business card at me when I asked for his information. I was also told I could have his managers information. I highly recommend not going to this place. read more

I stopped at a Walmart in this town, needing a break from a rather long car ride from the Ohio River area, and when I was ready to leave, the car didn't want to run and the brake pedal was hard and the brakes didn't want to function. This tire store was in the same complex and they found time to check my car, especially given the circumstances, while not pushing anyone out of the way who had been there previously. They found that the hydraulic hose attached to the master cylinder was split (apparently, the one found by Kings VW yesterday and on order) and yet another hose beneath it had been split. They tried to locate the part to no avail, but they had some brake hose remaining from another job, and like mechanics from 30 years ago, used the hose creatively to replace both split sections. The brakes work fine again, although they suggested that I might want to get the VW parts in any case. The final total was $22.68, which is phenomenal and once I'm done at the VW dealership, that's probably about what I'll get in change. read more

Called for estimates, made appointment to have 2 things taken care of. Was there at appointment time and still waited for an hour after my appointment time before my car was taken in. When I checked in I specifically asked for a tire repair and service on tire monitoring system and was told yep we will get you taken care of. After waiting an hour after my scheduled appointment my car was returned to me. When I got into my car I still had service tire monitoring system alarm. Went back in and they said oh yea he most have forgotten to rest. They came out and relearned system and said you are all set. Drove away and yes tire monitoring system still needs fixed. They seem to only want to fix what they want and not what the customer wants or needs. read more

After the stress of putting on the spare and then trying to figure out the next step it was close to closing time for all the shops. I have purchased two sets of tires there and have been less than satisfied with the customer service. They draw you in with the "free tire rotation" but when you go to take advantage of the perk - you end up waiting FOREVER. Everything seems to take a very long time. My advice - shop local. Ralph the Tire man has better customer service and prices. read more

Alignment seemed rushed. Don't believe they throughly inspected tie rods, struts, ball joints or wheel bearings (wheel hub). Right front still has a vibration after adding new tires and alignment. read more

They almost killed my daughter and I. Washington CH TD cross threaded the plug (oil change try 1), then busted the oil pan while extracting the plug (try 2). They sent me to TD in Chillicothe, OH to replace the oil pan.They should have sent us to a place that actually knew what they were doing. A Saturday 2 hour appt turned into +6 hours. Before leaving they had told me they had taken apart the exhaust and turbo also, yet "shaking from the engine is normal. It just the engine settling..." btw that is never normal. I took pictures under my Subaru before leaving the lot. I got a copy of the work order. I drove it home because it was now late and my Saturday was gone. Sunday morning loaded up my daughter to go to church, 3 miles down the road, it caught fire. The Fire department put it out. Insurance took 3 weeks to get TD to finally agree to an arson investigation, yep their fault. The improper sealing of the oil pan was the fuel to the fire. The improper replacement of all the other parts, exhaust, turbo, gaskets, missing stud, stripped parts sparked the fire. It's been 2 months, still do not have my vehicle back. My insurance stopped covering my rental, and it is on my credit card. My insurance has also risen due to this claim. I wish they would have just said we can not do it, here go to someone else and had paid the bill, not guess at. I am so thankful to the fire fighters. I am thankful that we did not die that day. read more

Toby went out of his way to make sure I had all my questions answered and my car was road worthy. The store was so busy, but he made me feel like I was the only customer he had...and he was that way with everyone!
