I stopped at a Walmart in this town, needing a break from a rather long car ride from the Ohio…read moreRiver area, and when I was ready to leave, the car didn't want to run and the brake pedal was hard and the brakes didn't want to function. This tire store was in the same complex and they found time to check my car, especially given the circumstances, while not pushing anyone out of the way who had been there previously. They found that the hydraulic hose attached to the master cylinder was split (apparently, the one found by Kings VW yesterday and on order) and yet another hose beneath it had been split. They tried to locate the part to no avail, but they had some brake hose remaining from another job, and like mechanics from 30 years ago, used the hose creatively to replace both split sections. The brakes work fine again, although they suggested that I might want to get the VW parts in any case. The final total was $22.68, which is phenomenal and once I'm done at the VW dealership, that's probably about what I'll get in change.

Great customer service, high quality work, honest pricing, treat you like family - here's my story…read more On June 22, 2020, my family of 6 were on vacation and driving home to Chicago from Virginia. We got off in Washington C.H. Ohio for a pit stop. As we started to drive, our Honda Pilot began sputtering and shaking, a warning light came on. We immediately stopped and asked around about getting service. Bell's was recommended. We called and talked to Savannah who guided us to their shop. We just made it there as our Honda shut down. We talked to the mechanic Thomas who dropped everything to handle our emergency. Savannah directed us to Our Place Restaurant down the street for lunch which was very good. Thomas quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (alternator) and we were on our way. Thanks again Savannah and Thomas. Go Bell's!

They came to replace my oil filter housing after another mechanic put a slit in it…read more After housing was installed he refilled coolant only to have forgot to replace a hose causing coolant to leak out. I thought coolant leaking day 1 and day 2 after repair were from when the hose was forgotten but NO, I now have an overheating engine, coolant leak and they claimed to be coming to look at it for 2 days (now going on the 3rd day) and still haven't showed and have not communicated anything else for days! Not only that but wanted to charge me for parts to fix it even if it was their error. Then wanted to charge me $100 for diagnostic if it turned out not to be their error (which how would that be if it wasn't leaking before they touched it...1st mechanic touched NOTHING on that side nor did he remove anything involving coolant yet they tried to pass blame stating it could have been done before they came. Now it's 3 days before Christmas and I'm stranded in OH and can't get back home to NC! BAD BUSINESS! Only one star because I had to.
