Dropped off a wheel at 10:00 a.m on 9/20/2025 to have a tire mounted called at 10:45am and was told there was only one person ahead of me. By 3:30 p.m.-over five hours later--I still hadn't heard anything. When I rushed to the store (which closes at 4:00), the job was finally done, but my question about why I never received a call or update was ignored. Mounting one tire should not take six hours, and at the very least, customers deserve honesty and communication. Very disappointing experience and a waste of time. read more

well I was the first appointment 8 am to get a inner and outer tie rod put on and here it's 11:30 and it's still not done. I will never come back ever. I looked at the window and not one person was working on it. then they asked if I had my keys I said no I have them to u all already and he says can u make sure and the car was already in the building waiting to get worked on I mean shit someone drove the car in the building. Went in for an oil change, then was told I needed all these other repairs, when taken for a 2nd opinion from a different shop I was notified the "repairs" needed were not even needed. Wanted to convince me to get the work done for nothing. Trusting my gut saved me 1300$ of work and labor not needed. Be cautious.... read more

My experience with tire discounters was exceptional and professional. I appreciated there knowledge of what to do with my vehicle. They just wanted to make sure that the work was done right and that I didn't have any questions concerning my vehicle. I needed new rims put on and the price was acceptable Great job !!! read more

I dont usually leave reviews but.... I called yesterday to ask if they had any openings today for an alignment, and back brake pads (already had the pads) and how long it would take. I was then told I could just drop it off or drop my keys in the box. I was also told that the amount of time would be on a first come basis so if someone showed up at 8 when they opened and someone else showed up after then they would work on the vehicle that got there first. Understandable so I showed up right when they opened, told the guy what i was there for. He said so your just dropping it off? No....I'm going to wait...he said "I told you to drop it off, I've got six alignments to do today including yours. I'll get done today I just dont know when" why the hell am I gonna drop my car off for something that shouldn't take no more than an hour to do. Also who gonna pick me up and bring me back???? Mark and Nick, along with the excellent master mechanics, found a vacuum leak in my 2016 Honda CRV, and aced it! This is a problem that can be caused by many things, and I thought I might have to pay a Honda dealership big dollars to track it down and fix it. 9:00 AM scheduled tire rotation appointment. After2hours of waiting in waiting room they had not taken my car to shop. I asked about it and response, "nope not yet". It took yet another hour before I could leave. I asked to speak with manager who said "I'm sorry but we had 3 call ins" OK, that could happen but no communication with customer sitting in waiting area for 3solid hours is unacceptable. I actually think that since I already paid for an insanely expensive set of tires that they really don't want you to return for "free" rotations. It worked! I'll never return and will encourage others not to go in the first place. I've have had other issues with this shop but I seem to be a slow learner. read more

Very poor service, order tires for my vehicle, they were deliver to the wrong facility. Service manager drove to get them and returned. He said, they are working on my truck now. I waked out after two hours and the tires are still laying on the ground. Now a customer is complaining up front with the manager about tires the said they had for and the don't have them. The mechanic came up to me and complained about his pay and told me what he made. Very poor shop and the people running it. I am waiting in the waiting room now setting with about 5 people that had appointments that were not keep. My suggestion is to find another tire store. read more

I got a flat tire toward the end of a long road trip and was lucky that despite it happening in a low populated area, it was only a couple of miles from this Tire Discounters, as I was missing some key components needed to change it. The employee who helped me, Matt, was extremely helpful, and everyone here was professional as they helped me switch over to my spare. I was back on the road in almost no time at all and able to make it to Columbus only an hour later than I was supposed to. I see that this store has some bad older reviews, but based on my experience I sincerely believe that they have made some drastic changes, and if you're in the area I would highly recommend them. read more

I was passing through town on the way to an important job interview hours from home when the four wheel drive system on my SUV began to continuously clunk real loud after getting off the highway for dinner. After deciding I couldn't ignore the problem, I found Tire Discounters was still open at the time and stopped in. They were clearly very busy, and although initially told by the front desk employee that they couldn't take care of me that night, the service manager said he would do what he could to take a look at it since I was in a bind. I filled out a service slip and waited outside (because it was pretty full inside). Even after they were officially closed, the service manager and a mechanic brought my SUV into the shop to diagnose the problem. While I was waiting outside, the service manager came out to get me and took me back in the shop to show me what was wrong. He actually took me under my own vehicle and showed me exactly what they saw and the mechanic explained his best guesses as to what had malfunctioned. They also pointed out, in clear view, another issue which I would need to address shortly but was not critical at the moment. In order to continue driving to make it to my job interview the next day, they told me they could remove my front drive shaft, which would disengage my four wheel drive system (it was their bet that either the front differential or spline in the transfer case was the culprit, so removing the shaft would provide a temporary fix). The mechanic removed the shaft and wrapped it in a bag so I could place it in the car. Taking it down off the lift, it drove without the noise: all was fixed for me to keep going. I went back in the office to ask what I owed for them helping me out, and the service manager just crumpled up my service slip and threw it away. He said the mechanic agreed they shouldn't charge me for this because of the situation I was in and that they were just trying to help me get back on the road. I was thrilled. I clearly can't be a repeat customer, they know I'm out of town and have no other option, and the fact that they didn't try to gouge me, let alone charge me a regular labor fee, was amazing. And keep in mind, this was an hour after they had already closed. I made it to my interview and eventually landed the job. On my way back through I stopped by a local pizza place and bought them a gift certificate to thank them; It was well deserved. read more

I went to get a new tire for my truck. This tire was going to cost me $245 and I got free alignment. They tried to sell me a mud tire and I wanted all terrain. They were out of the tires I wanted. So I go to Sam's club and get the tire I needed and went to Midas to get my truck aligned. Guess what everything came to$245. So Tire Discounters free alignment is a bunch of crap or a gimmick. At Sam's Club I also got rotation and balance for free. read more

I was in Chillicothe shopping and suddenly did not have brakes! The auto parts store recommended Tire Discounters. I called they said they could work me in and I had my truck towed there. When they were able to get to it they didn't have the line needed in stock so it had to be ordered and delivered. Even though I ended up having to leave it there overnight the technicians who worked on it were so thorough and concerned about my safety that I didn't mind having to go back the next day. We ended up taking it back the following week to double check some wires concerning the braking sensors but it was all good. They didn't charge any extra and they really seem to be a great team and group of guys. Thanks!!! read more

Now having used them before and highly recommended them to friends and family for a while now I was kind of surprised to hear he was getting a bit of a runaround with them, so I called in an attempt to sort this out. I spoke with Andrew during the call Andrew had said something to the effect of "we at Tire Discounters operate as a unit a team and not as individuals" a pretty profound statement then he proceeded to listen to our problems and quickly came up with an adequate solution. I was completely amazed by the company's concern for the customers and they seemed to as a team turn this around and into a positive experience for my family. I shopped quotes for 4 new tires and tire discounter's prices were significantly better than other tire shops. In addition to the fair price, the shop also offered free alignment with the purchase of 4 tires as well as some other perks (free rotation, etc.). Pat was able to schedule me at a convenient time and the services were performed in a fairly timely manner (I was quoted 2 hours. I took about 2hr 40 min.) I will say, i called to have the tires ordered and i was told i would recieve a call when they were in the shop. I had to call back about a week later and ask if the tires were in and to schedule my appointment. A minor inconvenience. A couple of things occurred when i was in the waiting area that were somewhat concerning. There seemed to be arguing among staff (yelling back and forth) and at one point a staff member walked into the front of the store with his shirt off. I'm not sure of the circumstances but it was confusing and unprofessional. Not sure if there was tension between staff members or what but the guy stood in the front of the store with his shirt off for a few minutes and then walked out. Weird. I am happy with the tires; however, my vehicle still pulls to the right- an issue that i hoped would be resolved with the alignment. I was given a print out of the alignment measurements but i am not familiar with these numbers or how to read the measurements- i just know the issue is not resolved. Also, i noticed some gunk on my rims from the mounting and balancing of my tires. It was easy enough to wipe of but i figure i just paid $600 bucks so maybe they could wipe it off. Overall, i am somewhat satisfied. I might recommend the shop but would do so with some reservation. The value is good but the customer service, professionalism and quality of service are so-so. read more

I wish I could give less than one star. I was given an ETA of 1-1 1/2 to complete, after 3 hours my vehicle never moved. By the time I finally asked for my keys back it was near closing time, no one was in the waiting are, and there was only one vehicle in the service area, and all five of the employees were standing around chatting. This place has a very rude staff. They are too busy from in informed locals to adequately service everyone that comes in. They claim to be a good value but they are by far the most expensive place around. Even small shops in town like Davis has a better selection and way better prices. Called ahead and scheduled an appointment. Was told the tires were $93 with free mounting, balancing, and alignment. When I arrived 20 minutes early to my appointment I was told that the tires I wanted and was quoted for wasn't there. They tried to upsale me to $108 tires. I was already upset.
