Tried to get air in my tires that I bought there. They were too busy. Told to come back in 1-1/2 hrs.

Beware!! In the middle of a blizzard I made an appointment to have new tires (I already payed for and had on hand) mounted/balance and that's it. They Called this morning asking if I could leave the car there so they can do it whenever I guess...not on my scheduled appointment. I told John, the manager, no. That we would bring it in and wait. He told me no price. At all. So take the car there they did the tires and then charged hundreds telling my boyfriend (who took the car in) that he told me it was this much on the phone when he called in the morning. Well he was sitting next to me when he called on speaker phone so he knows no price was discussed. So not only is JOHN CAMPLESE a liar but he charged me more than the tires actually cost to install them...while toting "free balance and rotation" as part of the package that we didn't ask for but when John Camplese was told we were upset with the dishonesty and price gauging when we took the risk to get there in a blizzard he then told us we are never welcome back there. I will be back for my free balance and rotation and if he doesn't like it he can talk to his boss cause he is being contacted. Monro owns them btw. Customer service is awful. He called and screamed at my BF...what garbage this place is. As is the manager. So much for the customer being right. Don't go here. We did cause nothing else was open and they took complete advantage. read more

Took vehicle in to see about vibration, was told I needed new hoses calibers breaks rotors alignment wheels balanced and total was 1200!!! I took it else where and all the car needed was new break pads and rotors this place is a rip off! They rack up anything and everything to rob you! I will never be back to this place ever again read more

Went in today to have a tire repaired I thought. They checked it and determined that I have a cracked rim instead. I requested that they put the doughnut tire on and they did. This was just not what I expected to go through this week. This guy named Andy or Andrew made me feel uncomfortable. I'm sure he's friendlier to women for a reason, but it came off iffy to me. He insisted that I wait in the waiting room but it just felt like I was scammed into talking to someone when all I wanted was to pay and leave. But to top it off, something that could have taken an 1hr ended up taken half the day. read more

My car slid into ditch two days ago. They did a full inspection and helped to remove chunks of ice and grasses on my tires without charging anything! It was on Sunday. They were fully scheduled with cars need to be taken care of, but were still able to work on my car very efficiently in between appointments. I can tell that this place must be quite popular in the neighborhood, as quite a few people coming in, dropping off or picking up cars when I was waiting. The guy working on my car was professional, very responsible, and super nice! He checked the base of the car, frontal and rear axes, tire pressure--almost everything before letting me go. I feel very thankful to them. I would highly recommend this place to everyone! read more

I called this morning around 10 AM to have my car looked at, I have been to Monro before and have nothing but a great experience. Anyways my car is making funny whiny noises when I turn left. Not good I am thinking. Anyways, I know I am going to need something major done. So the guy on the other end says that he can get me an appointment for 12:30....the same day. Great! I go, drop off the car, call my neighbor to pick me up and go home and wait for the call. He calls me back when he promised he would. Of course not very good news. The car is a 1999 and has over 102,000 miles on it and it needs new shocks/struts, Bearing plates, 2 tires, Alignment, Pins (link kit) tie rods, Power steering change, oil change and a partridge in a pair tree. About $1,600.....of course I can't afford that all right now. So we drop the tires, pins and tie rods and it brings it down to $1,189 plus tax. Of course it helps that I have a credit card with them. Serious plug, get one, anything over $200 is interest free for 90 days. Anyways, I tried to get a credit increase, but couldn't, but that was okay. And when I called him back to tell him that he said that they had already taken off the wheels and such and were working on the bearing plates. The car will be ready by nights end. Oh and Life time guarantee on the parts, would only have to pay for labor if anything went wrong. Over all they are a great store. read more
