When I came to pick it up, I could immediately tell it had been finished in gloss instead of satin--something that was obvious at a glance. When I pointed this out, JC refused to take responsibility. Instead, he gaslit me, claiming no one could possibly know what finish a wheel should have unless the customer specifically told them beforehand. That's not only unreasonable--it's lazy. If he wasn't sure, he could've asked. But rather than take ownership, he blamed me for not bringing a second wheel or the entire car as a reference, despite previously assuring me that one wheel was enough. He even tried to shift blame further by saying the wheel was "old and dirty." It's less than a year old, garage-kept, and in great shape. That excuse doesn't hold up--especially considering any shop doing refinishing work should clean the wheel before applying a new finish. At that point, it would've been clear it was not a gloss finish, and again, a quick message to confirm would have solved everything. To make matters worse, JC's behavior was completely unprofessional. At every turn, he seemed more interested in upselling than fixing the problem. First, he offered to refinish all four wheels in gloss (the wrong finish) for a "discounted" $300. Then it became, "Bring the wheel back and I'll do it for $80." By that point--after the back and forth--I had zero confidence in his work or his integrity, and absolutely no interest in handing over more money. I trusted JC's word and expected professional service. What I got instead was a botched job, deflection, and a total lack of accountability for a simple, avoidable mistake. If you care about your wheels--or about being treated with basic honesty and professionalism--go somewhere else.

I had great customer service there now I moved to Richmond and I visit this location for all my tiring needs and they do a fantastic job. Their customer service is amazing even when they're dealing with crazy unruly people just set up an appointment online and they'll take care of you quickly. I do recommend buying a certificate because it just makes repairs so much easier I had a nail and they patched it for free within a few minutes whichever location you go to. I highly recommend you set up an appointment so that way you do not have to wait as long as walk-in I love this location keep up the good work

1 star - extremely disappointing experience…read more I visited Discount Tire in Sugar Land for tire service, and after the service was completed, I discovered scratches and paint damage on the rear trunk area of my vehicle. This damage was clearly not present before my visit. I took photos immediately and later obtained a repair estimate of approximately $300-400. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue. While the store initially responded and acknowledged my concern, they have failed to provide any resolution or compensation. Communication has been inconsistent, and more recently, they have completely stopped responding to my follow-ups. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but even with that, the issue remains unresolved and has been delayed for an extended period. It is very disappointing to see a company avoid accountability like this. I simply wanted a fair resolution for damage that occurred during their service. I would strongly recommend taking photos of your vehicle before any service here.
