While here they discovered some issues with the stucco that needed to be addressed before painting. They did not hesitate to correct the issues to keep the project moving forward. After all walls were painted, the metal roof just didn't match, so I call Gus who quickly got me prices and was able to start pressure washing within a week. The building looks fantastic!! Knock on Wood did my roof in September 2016. The roof started leaking in December 2018. We called…read moreanother roofing company because Knock on Wood was not open on the weekends. This company found that there were several places under the shingles where no roofing felt paper was put down, tar was applied instead of replacing bad decking, and places were not nailed to a nailable surface (e.g not to code). When we talked to Knock on Wood he became irate and stated he wasn't coming out to replace plywood or to address the issues with the roof. I had to pay another company to fix the issue. I contacted them in March 2024 about some work to be done at our house. They came out, we discussed…read morethe work, and the sent us a quote via email. We were promised that once we gave them the deposit we would be put on the schedule. We gave them the deposit in the form of a cashier's check (around $7200), and they were supposed to start no later than mid-July. They didn't start and we couldn't reach them by phone, text, or email. I finally sent them a text message and an email stating that we wanted a full refund by Friday by cashier's check or we would get a lawyer. On Friday we got an email saying that they'd had a problem with their program crashing but that they would have their accountant mail us a check. We haven't been able to contact them since then. Two weeks later!
