There were panels that were not even finished. They also placed a new toilet and found the toilet was leaking due to a cracked flange. When I called Jerry to inform him of the issues he said "lady, Ive got 99 problems and you aint one". I told him I wasn't looking to argue, I just needed it to be fixed. After realizing all he wanted to do was provoke me and argue, I hung up and just decided I would rather fix the issues on my own than to deal with someone so unreasonable. He persisted to text and call me back but at that point I did not want him or anyone working for him back in my home. Extremely unprofessional and beware because once he has your money, good luck should the job go awry.

This company found that there were several places under the shingles where no roofing felt paper was put down, tar was applied instead of replacing bad decking, and places were not nailed to a nailable surface (e.g not to code). When we talked to Knock on Wood he became irate and stated he wasn't coming out to replace plywood or to address the issues with the roof. I had to pay another company to fix the issue. I contacted them in March 2024 about some work to be done at our house. They came out, we discussed…read morethe work, and the sent us a quote via email. We were promised that once we gave them the deposit we would be put on the schedule. We gave them the deposit in the form of a cashier's check (around $7200), and they were supposed to start no later than mid-July. They didn't start and we couldn't reach them by phone, text, or email. I finally sent them a text message and an email stating that we wanted a full refund by Friday by cashier's check or we would get a lawyer. On Friday we got an email saying that they'd had a problem with their program crashing but that they would have their accountant mail us a check. We haven't been able to contact them since then. Two weeks later!
