I experienced the WORST customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life during the 5 minutes I was in Tipsy Salonbar. I booked an appointment online and received 2 text notifications to confirm my appointment beforehand, which I did. When I showed up on the day of my appointment at my appointment time, the lady at the front desk said she couldn't find my appointment in their system and looked confused. I showed her my confirmation texts and she continued to remain confused. She started looking into look into the computer to seemingly try to find my appointment and answered an incoming phone call in the middle of my interaction with her, which was rude. She asked me if I booked my appointment online and after telling her yes, she said I shouldn't have done that and that there was a "glitch" that allowed me to book, despite receiving multiple confirmation texts. If your business is offering online bookings, it should be your job as a business to honor those and monitor online bookings. I understand that mix's ups happened but what bothered me the most is that she offered absolutely no apology whatsoever. She acted as though the whole thing was my fault and made the salons booking problem my personal problem. Any one with with an ounce of customer service experience could have at least said one "I'm sorry" but I received nothing - it was honestly appalling coming from a middle-aged adult woman. My advice to this business would be to show a little empathy and maybe offer an apology here and there, whether the issue is your fault or not. Customer service goes a long way and could probably have saved you from a few of the other one star reviews I see on this page for this business. read more

I'd put zero stars if I could. Veronica, the nail technician aside, she is wonderful and does great work, the owner, Tuan Nguyen, should consider spending some actual time in their business before their staff run it into the ground. My family successfully owned a salon and spa in Chicago for 30 years before retiring and selling the business. Ashlee, the desk manager, is absolutely worthless. My technician was over 45 minutes late for my appointment. Ashlee made no efforts to accommodate the situation other than to say "she's stuck in traffic". I left since, not only was this a waste of my time, I had other business matters to attend to. Even as I was leaving, no attempts were made to rectify the technicians negligence. As a current business owner and former salon and spa owner, this behavior from employees would never be tolerated. read more

Nail Tech I was scheduled with was overbooked. Was there an hour getting pedicure by another tech After an hour no one had begun to remove my dip and original tech was still working on other client that took my time slot. Lots of turn over in employees and there is even incentive from owner to give good review on Yelp. I see why they have to bribe read more

Went there for a pedicure for the two of us. The woman doing my feet dropped all of the pedicure tools on the floor, picked them up and just rinsed them off in my bowl. I asked if she would sanitize. She said "I rinsed them, It's fine." Didn't even bother to sanitize. And then She grabbed the jet cover from another persons dirty bowl that was full of her post-pedicure water and proceeded to put in my bowl over the jets. Very unsanitary in this place. read more

Beautiful salon and owner was very helpful. Be careful going to new employee Nicole . She was unable to correctly do a grey root touch up. She panicked and tried to recover up the gray while she was drying my hair. I asked her if she was then going to rinse it and she said -do you want me to? Another customer was waiting for her and getting upset. I offered to come back in a few days so that she could correct it and not make the next customer wait. Then she tried to rebill me! Magical! Great relaxing afternoon with champagne and pampering. My experience was amazing. All the staff was super friendly, professional and accommodating. Booked my appointment for the same day- super easy online. Highlights were perfect along with a great cut and style. Needed to get my nails done and they were able to add that service while i was there. Oh did I mention they have a bar?! Wish we had this place in Scottsdale. Super impressive and fun! read more

Service was really good. The girl who did my nails was super nice and made me feel comfortable. I'm just very confused at the pricing. The service I booked was 50 dollars online. I go to pay and it was 78. I asked why and she said it was because I got a manicure plus the service I was getting, but wouldn't you assume the manicure is included since you're getting your nails done? After I paid I went online and looked and it said the service I got was only 65. I'm just very confused how they came to that price. If they were going to add additional things to my service, they should've asked before doing it and charging me nearly 30 dollars extra then I had anticipated. read more

I do not recommend this place whatsoever. My sister and I went in to get our hair lightened with the price advertised online in mind. BOY were we WRONG. The website said one price and what they charge is significantly more. After the stylist explained the price to me in a pretty aggressive manor I felt the need to justify why I was shocked. The whole situation was so uncomfortable. I expressed to her that I don't normally do this sort of thing and that the price was no where near what I expected to pay because that's not what was on their website. Despite the ridiculous price I decided to give her a shot. I hardly ever get to do girly things for myself and thought it might be nice to let loose of the purse strings a bit. My hair was so long, beautiful, and healthy because I never use heat on it and it's always up. My hair is now extremely wrecked and looks awful. The bottom of my hair is two colors and the top is a whole other color (this is not what I asked for at all). I didn't notice the color difference until later because they talked me into allowing them to curl my hair for their photo. Both my sister's and my hair is stringy like spaghetti and falling out. Worst experience.... I went in for a consultation to see what I could do to get my hair dyed. I met with Amber who was lovely, she provided me with many options and pricing. She recommended starting out with a CPR hair treatment, then to start the process of hair coloring. I scheduled the CPR treatment with her. However when I showed up to my appointment Amber was out and things came up so they had put me with another stylist for the CPR treatment. As I was getting my hair washed I asked how this effects your hair and I soon found out they had put me down for a collagen treatment instead with a blowout. I wasn't very happy about that and I said something. The stylist took it off the bill and she proceeded to tell me about how she cuts hair I had needed a hair cut and asked if she would cut my hair. She agreed after styling it I paid 75 dollars and tipped and left the salon the next day after I washed my hair and tried to style it myself I noticed my bangs were very uneven and that my there were chunks of longer hair and it wasn't even at all. i do not recommend this salon and will not be returning. this was our first time at tipsy salon. when we walked in we did not see a front desk so we just waited at the front door. a stylist had told us we can check in at the front desk. i told her we had never been here before so where is it at. she pointed to the back. we walked to the back where two employees were standing and said we needed to check in. they told us to go to the front desk which we couldn't locate. little did we know the front desk was also the bar. from the start we felt a weird vibe from our first encounters with the employees. we checked in and we're brought back to our stylists chairs. my sister and I came into the salon scheduled with full head of highlights. i showed my stylist a picture of dark hair which I have with warm highlights. the hair I received looked nothing like the picture. the stylist did not discuss price with me and going off the website it said $155. so I figured it would be roughly around $200 total. after my hair was completely foiled my stylist set up the heat lamp for the top of my hair. she left the salon and had an assistant keep and eye on me. up to this point everything seemed normal and standard. my stylists came back and checked my foils and decided I needed more time to process. she left me alone under the heat lamp.my head began to burn really bad and I looked around for my stylist but I couldn't see here. i told my sister my head was really burning and I was hot. she told her stylist who got my stylist. she took me back to the wash station and pulled my foils. she shampood my hair and my scalp was burning. she then proceeded to tone my hair and that burned even worse. after that was rinsed out she sent me back to her chair in the mirror I looked at myself and saw that my hair looked like spaghetti which it never has before. she started to brush my hair and i noticed chunks of melted off hair on the ground. she blow dyed my hair and everything seemed okay. the color was lighter then I had wanted but it looked good and I was at the time happy. after going home I noticed that parts of my hair at the root were not toned because they had looked orange. when I was brushing my hair clumps of my hair had fallen out. did not seem like normal shedding and was not like before I had my hair highlighted the ends of my hair are fried off and my hair is insanely dry and broken. on top of the quality of my hair being ultimately destroyed I have scabs on my scalp from being burned while I was under the heat lamp. this was the first time I had been to a salon to have my hair done since before the beginning of the pandemic. this was supposed to be a treat to myself and I'm extremely upset with the way this has turned out. i feel as though I should've never sat down in the chair after feeling a weird vibe when I first got there. my once strong and healthy hair is now damaged. i have spots in my hair that should have had toner on them but do not. and overall it wasn't anything like the picture I showed to the stylist. the overall experience wasn't what I had hoped it to be. i wanted to try something new and treat myself and after spending $300 and almost 4 hours in the salon I am ultimately disappointed. my time has been wasted and my hair needs at least 3 inches cut off after growing it out for 2 years now. will not be returning. read more

i have been here 3 times now and i absolutely love it!!!!! only place in naples where i can find dazzle dry (which if you don't know what this is, look it up) and shonny, is not only great at her job, but she's extremely sweet snd very personable, which is important when spending an hour with someone!!! a must go to! i actually left my regular salon for the tipsy salon bar!! read more
