Should be open on Saturdays . This is most important shopping day of the week for a hardware store. Close on Sundays if you need a day off.

If I could leave negative stars I would. Went in the store to browse with my family. Instead of…read morejust greeting us and letting us shop, the associates kept bothering us and making unwanted comments. My 13 year old chose not to wear a coat. They wouldn't stop talking about it. The older associate then commented loudly that my daughter had no meat on her bones. It is totally unacceptable to comment on another person's body, or what they are wearing. Nobody asked for her opinion. It was not at all appreciated, it was offensive. Extremely unprofessional. We were all so uncomfortable that we left immediately. Body shaming is never acceptable! Especially on international women's day. After more than 30 years shopping here I will never return.

I should have written this review long ago but this year I needed to go to Hands more then usual…read more The service is superb! I could not for the life of me figure out why I couldn't connect my power washer, any of it. I went to Hands out of frustration (even though I got it at Home Depot) the fellow working clearly knew what he was doing and spent probably 10 minutes and told me the connections were a little worped and rusted. Instead of trying to sell me a new one, he taught me that adding a little lubraderm to the joints would make them fit. And he assembled it for me. He wouldn't even take a tip, saying they are not that kind of store and asked me to add a little to the plate at church. Another time I needed some replacement screws and couldn't figure out how to match them exactly. A different person spent 5 minutes not just finding the right screw for me but showing me how to use the equipment they had at the store to do it myself. Another time I needed a replacement outside table. Yet another person spent a lot of time with me listening to what I wanted and my time frame (fast) to try to find me a table that had in stock. Yes, this would have been a pretty big sale for them, but he was really trying to understand my needs and alternatives to make me happy with whatever I purchased. Always friendly, epic service!

recently purchased a slightly damaged bistro set and, before completing the purchase, asked whether…read moreany additional discount could be applied due to the condition of the item. I was told that the set had already been marked down and that no further discount was available. Unfortunately, after doing some research, I discovered that the "discounted" price was based on an inflated retail price rather than the actual market price. In fact, the manufacturer's website and other retailers were offering the same bistro set brand new, without any damage, for essentially the same price I paid for the damaged unit. What is particularly disappointing is that the markdown appears to have been calculated from an artificially high reference price rather than from the true retail price readily available in the marketplace. Had the markdown been based on the actual selling price of a new, undamaged set, the discount would have been significantly greater and more representative of the item's condition. While I understand that retailers have discretion in pricing, I found the presentation of this "discount" to be misleading and inconsistent with what most customers would reasonably expect. A damaged item should provide genuine value compared to a new item, not simply appear discounted because of an inflated starting price. As a customer, I left feeling disappointed and misled. Transparency and fair pricing are important, and this experience fell short of those expectations. I hope management reviews its pricing practices so future customers can make informed purchasing decisions based on accurate and honest representations of value.
