They seem to have every part I needed to fix our paintball gun rental fleet of FT-12's.

The space is super unique, and the massive cylindrical support structures made for super interesting engagements. That being said, I think there are a few things that could make it a better experience in the future. The biggest thing would be more slow down respawns, and introduce new game modes. The constant onslaught of unlimited life TDM might work really well for paintball, but airsoft benefits from limited life game modes with revives and/or objective based modes to slow down the gameplay a little bit, especially on a field that small. There was at least one game where my entire team were just sitting in our spawn because we'd all ran out of ammo - hpa, aeg, and gbbr players alike. One new game mode that could be fun and work for the space is a 1 life tdm, played to best of 3 or best of 6, flipping sides every round or 2. It could reset until everyone needs to come off the field and reload. It'd be nice to have a clear sense of who won, and who lost, as I honestly couldn't tell you who won or lost any of the games yesterday. It also didn't seem like the refs were super attentive to the game. There was at least one player who consistently was shining a laser in people's eyes, and kept doing so even after they were told to stop by referees. As I looked through my footage last evening, there were several moments where I noticed the refs were grouped together, instead of spread across the field. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that it was extremely frustrating to have my group be split up for most of the day. We drove three hours each way to come play together, but we ended up only getting to play on the same team 2 or 3 rounds the whole day because the referees wouldn't let us play together, and they never really explained why. This was the main thing we complained about on our way home, and is the main reason we wouldn't want to come back in the future. We are looking forward to airsoft getting to play on the outdoor fields as the weather warms up, and we will be back to try those out. the Fort specifically looks like it would have super interesting gameplay

The course itself was no fun- it's so rundown that it's just sad. I honestly can't believe that it's still open. They really, really, really need to update it. It's actually dangerous too- there are multiple bricks on the borders that are loose and we tripped several times. It also has not had the leaves cleared since the trees started turning so it is absolutely covered in leaves and water and gunk. It's a good thing we aren't serious about our play and score since we couldn't possibly be, what with all the leaves and dirt clogging up the greens and holes. Several of the flag markers are torn or broken, the paint is chipping everywhere, there are no little pads or arrows telling you where to place your ball, and the miniature buildings that they presumably added to give the place some character are literally falling down, riddled with chipped paint and wood rot. We used a Groupon here, but I honestly wouldn't go back even if it were free. It needs to be completely overhauled. As does the whole building, really- the bathroom is filthy, with dirty paint and a fairly large sized hole in the wall by one of the toilets. A toilet which, btw, had a ring around the water- so nasty! It obviously hasn't been cleaned in ages. The customer service was also pretty pathetic. There were 3 people working, and we were the only customers, but when we walked by them to leave, not one of them said 'thank you' or 'goodbye' or anything. UGH.

A month or so back they came to one of my Family member's work selling "package deal" coupons. To be clear, she paid over $100 for these "coupons", which the business manager stated they would not accept upon arrival. We had people drive a couple of hours from out of town just to go, and had a group of 8 people! They were extremely rude and he actually said "I'll take them but it will actually cost you MORE than if you don't use them. " He tried to justify it by writing out the numbers. We actually called about the coupons TWICE (once only a week before arrival) to ensure they were good. We were ensured they covered everything except the paintballs themselves. It even says on the coupon "a purchase of 500 paintballs minimum per player were required." We were ok with that but they wanted to charge us $50 per player! The "owner" (honestly the way they were acting i'm not sure it was the owner, and if it was he has ALOT to learn about owning a business) actually stated it would be $2 more if we chose to use the coupons ($52). He literally said, well i'll accept them but it will actually cose you MORE. This was a complete slap in the face. If there were a zero star option we'd be choosing that. We WILL be filing a complaint with the Better business Bureau in reference to this. We promptly took our business to Jaegers instead and we were SO GLAD we did. At this point you couldn't PAY US to go play there and deal with the extremely rude staff. We called Jaegers and explained the situation and they actually cut us a deal. We got ALL 8 of us in for $25 a piece! They gave us cups when we ordered pizza and I even bought two cases of paintballs there. Including $25 a person, plus the TWO cases (4000 paintballs) of extra paintballs we bought at Jaegers we saved over $150 on choosing to take our business elsewhere. We were allowed to play on their brand new woodsball course as well as in the caves and were treated how customers should be: WITH RESPECT. For the Love of God don't take your business here! Go to Jaegers where they know the value of their customers. There will be much more people to play there with you anyways, and the most friendly staff we've ever dealth with.

It's totally one part corporate, crisp, functional retail goods store, and another part taxidermy animals, rides, fudge, and hunting & fishing gear like you'd find at Bass Pro. We took our kids here on a winter break, gray day and it was a lot of fun. First off, there's a mini aquarium when you walk in -- it's nothing to write home about, but it gets the kids attention and they realize right away this is a fun store. From there, you can't miss the gigantic ferris wheel in the middle of the store. Gonna be real, it's fun and worth the wait but also a bit nerve wracking. Something is just odd about quietly swaying at the top of a department store quietly for such a long time. My daughter was like, "Dad, I'm scared to look down!" and all I could think was, "so am I, kid, so am I." We both agreed it's pretty fun once it gets going. There's also a little bowling area where you get five frames for a buck, and ditto to a little arcade game area as well. There's toy stores, outdoor goods, quality brands of clothes and outfitting, and really a nice answer to online shopping. In fact, it feels like malls used to feel in the 90's but a modern spin on everything. We did eat here but I'd say skip it. I didn't find anything I wanted and when I went to finish off my kids chicken tenders I was super underwhelmed and ended up pitching them. I will say at this time they carry Sylas & Maddy's ice cream (best IC in the city IMO) so that was a nice surprise treat. What more could you want if out shopping with the kids?! It's a great spot to kill a quiet afternoon.
