Beware of this company. The last day they were there I had to leave and they were picking up brush and limbs from my tree. So I paid them. When I came back it appears they left the minute I did. They never came back to finish the job. They never returned my calls. Very disappointed. They were definitely just there until they got paid. Their business card says they are licensed, bonded, insured, etc. I question all of that now. They did cut down the tree for a reasonable price. But beyond that, their work ethic was horrible. I was approached at my home and since I was intending to have a a few tree's removed I agreed to have them take down 4 of the tree's on my property. Price was reasonable and they started on the job that same day. Workers were polite and got the job done. The majority of tree debris was removed and I have no complaints. I would have no problems with using this company in the future for tree removal. read more

Saw working in my neighborhood and had them give estimate. Lots of jive in sales talk, but seemed to be a reasonable price for services offered, also could be done immediately. After 1 hr. of work by 3 men for a $300 job,(2 just raking yard as branches fell, 1 climbing tree and trimming), I was told they were done. Still lots of dead limbs. One of his workers concurred that they had barely touched the tree's dead limbs Thomas, the fellow who gave the quote and seemed to oversee the project, tried to tell me that this was what they had agreed to do. After encouraging them to take down a few more dead limbs, I paid them the agreed upon amount. I was not happy with the job but at this point, wanted them gone. Thomas then apologized and said he didn't know why his "climber" (this guy was an "arborist" in an earlier talk) didn't feel like climbing to do the job properly. Had to do a fair amount of raking to clean up debris (limbs and leaves) after they left. the next day, I saw a large branch that seems to have cracked off due to climbing on tree. this limb was very healthy( and now sits 30 feet from the ground, caught in a "V" of the tree, dying. Called Thomas about this and he said they would be here that day. They didn't show. Nest day he left a message that they would be here that day. Again, didn't show. Today I called and he started with the run around talk again. Bottom line, the work speaks for itself. When our guests come for this holiday weekend and see the dead limbs hanging, they will know who NOT to do business with! read more

If we could give this company zero stars, we would, unfortunately, it would not show up if we did. This company was going door to door in my father's neighborhood for yard work. My father, who is in the first stages of dementia, hired them for some light yard work and trimming a few trees. Over three days of work, they scammed my father out of $6,600. They would insist on a check daily before leaving. When other family members found out the police were brought in and charges are being filed. Another company that my father has dealt with said he would have done what this company has done for less than a third of what they charged. Stay away from this company! read more

We hired them to remove 8 large trees and to take away 25 leaf bags that we personally filled. Over the course of a few days they took the trees down, but left huge branches in our front yard and never came back to cut them up and take them away. Also, they never took our leaf bags away. I have called probably 5 to 10 times, and they always say they will send someone out to get the leaves and they never do. We had to cut the big branches down, ourselves. In addition, they asked to use our chainsaw, rake and wheelbarrow. We let them use them to help get the job done faster, but they broke our rake and didn't even tell us. I cannot emphasize enough, do not use this company for any type of work! They're a bunch of gypsies that come knocking at your door, they beg for work saying that they haven't worked in weeks, give you a cash price that they will to do the work for, want to be paid before the job is complete, start the work, never finish it, and damage your personal property in the process. You will never see these guys after they start and leave your property. Do yourself a favor and when they come knocking tell him that you want a reputable company to do the work. They say they're licensed and insured but they won't use their insurance because they say all the damage that they do is not high enough to turn it in. I still have over $500 worth of damage to my personal property and also other trees that they damaged when they cut trees and they have made no effort to fix anything or come back and finish cutting up the trees that they cut down. read more

Forestry Pro's operates as an itinerant company, traveling great distances from their home office to offer services in communities where residents are not familiar with their reputation. They advertise as a fully insured and bonded company, but later demand additional cash payment, purportedly to cover their liability insurance. They damaged my property with no attempt to repair, and did not perform the work as stated per contract. In fact, after repeatedly demanding (and receiving) additional payments to complete the project, they abruptly left without finishing the contracted services. To make matters worse, they do not respond to phone calls to their home office (513-259-0758). Unfortunately, I was not aware of the BBB assessment for this company prior to contracting their services for tree removal. Subsequently, I learned that my payments to Forestry Pro's LLC were actually redirected to Pamela S. Dyer's Tree Service, LLC of Springfield, Ohio (4910 Alpha Rd, Springfield, OH 45504). Michael and Pamela S. Dyer's Tree Service has received an "F" rating by the BBB of Dayton, OH secondary to multiple unresolved complaints, failure to provide services and product specified in the contract, and difficulty contacting the company for resolution of contract obligations. My personal experience with Forestry Pro's (Dyer's Tree Service, LLC) is equally negative. Please think twice before allowing them on your property. BUYER BEWARE! read more

Forestry Pro's LLC is a laugh...it does NOT even exist in the Ohio Secretary of State records! I got a really good quote to remove trees on my lot by by Steve, who says his boss is Mike Clay. They started working when a second crew, who was supposed to help, blew them off saying the quote was too low! Steve got all flustered and tired to pack up and leave saying he couldn't do the job...how about $300 for what they had started (mind you NOT finished). I asked him to honor his quote, the one he gave me! Suddenly, he couldn't look me in the eye, and said I was hassling him. Couldn't get a straight answer from him either as to whether he would finish the job...nor the name and number of the "local area boss" beyond MIke Clay. I'm sorry I took the chance with these guys who knocked on my door. BE WARNED! And if a truck with the OH plate PIX 1987 should pull up to your house, run him off the property! read more
