We attended to store on Saturday, Feb 16 right when it opened (we did not have an appointment and were shopping for a prom dress) The lady that attended to us (sorry I do not have her name) was just amazing, it was actually an emotional experience as I and my daughter are used to having such bad experience or just ignored. She was patient and kind, offered suggestions and was so attentive. I will certainly be back for any formal wear that my family needs and have told everyone of our great experience and recommended that others go there. To the lady that assisted us, thank you so much for making us feel special and important and being so patient with my very picky, ornery and hard to fit teen, it was so appreciated!

I messaged the Facebook page two separate times with questions and both times their responses were prompt and thorough. The online booking system on the website made it easy for me to schedule the appointment when it was convenient for me, and I received a confirmation email the following day (which I gathered to be from an actual human instead of an automated response). I wanted trying on wedding dresses to be a fun and special day for me and my group of girls and One Love One Dream definitely exceeded my expectations. We had our own private room with chairs and snacks and a consultant working with us exclusively which made me feel important and that they value my business. The shop is beautiful, clean and organized. Our consultant Amanda was friendly and knowledgeable - she was so helpful through the whole process, answering questions, making suggestions, and having fun with us. They provided champagne when I said "yes" to the dress and let us have our own little celebration, I was never rushed out of the store or to the cash. In all the excitement, I left my wallet in the store and I didn't even know it, and they gave me a call to let me know they found it and that it would be waiting there safe and sound for me whenever I could come get it. I bought a sale dress off the rack that requires a couple of small repairs and I received a follow up email to assure me that it is being taken care of for me! We could not have asked for a better experience. It is so great to have such a big part of the wedding planning taken care of - and to have had a totally painless, stress-free experience. The lady working there was very nice, she let us look on our own and was always there to help you clip up your dress if you needed to which is especially nice since some boutiques have the workers breathing down your neck. The place is really clean, you have to leave your shoes at the door and there's a little basket of slippers underneath one of the chairs for you to use. The dresses were organized by colours and length (long and short) and she told us not to worry too much about colour because these dresses will come in other colours if you order it. Now the dresses itself in my opinion are okay. The styles were nice and ranged around 500$ which is standard for those types of dresses and especially the brands. I dont want to say that they were outdated cause they're not really but if you're looking for instagram pinterest glimmering bodycons or a great elie saab rose ball gown this isnt it I attached some photos of dresses i tried on for fun

Let me emphasize my word choice there- he came across as a stylist and not just a sales associate looking to close a sale or upsell you on accessories. It was also my first day in Toronto and so he kindly gave a bunch of local recommendations for good eats! As far as the actual clothing selection, there were so many other cute items that I would've bought if I had the space in my luggage! They had outfits across the spectrum, ranging from casual everyday wear to more fancy/formal wear. It was also mostly organized by color which was helpful. One of the dresses was originally meant to be in a light color, but plans changed. The dress was ordered and paid for (by my mom), but it was never picked up -- in fact, the store hadn't even received it yet. I asked if I could change the color to black so it would match the other bridesmaids. The owner told me absolutely no refunds or exchanges under any circumstances. Considering the store made thousands of dollars from us, and this particular dress wasn't in their possession yet, I think it's unfair that I wasn't allowed to make a simple change. A little flexibility would have gone a long way, especially for a bridal party spending this much money. Because of this, I would only recommend shopping here if you are absolutely, 100% certain of every detail before you pay. Once they have your money, there is no flexibility. Sadly, due to how this was handled, I would not recommend Madeline's to others in the future

Ava and Talin really care about their customers and it is clear that they have expertise and passion for their work. In addition to what we selected, they brought out other mother of the groom dresses for us to try on based on what they knew would be suitable for our body types. They also made alteration suggestions so that the dresses would meet our vision/comfort level. We never felt pressured to buy or rushed despite the fact that another couple was waiting for assistance. Upon entering the place it looks beautiful with the aesthetic and the entrance. My sister rents dresses from here for her special occasions and the process is quite simple. You choose the date in which you want to hold the dress for and pick it up. They're completely transparent about any damages or stains on the dresses if someone who booked the dress previously have stained it or damaged it which is nice and good to know. Will definitely be renting dresses from here :)
