I spoke with Yvette, who was really kind, and helpful. She collected my info and said Holly (the owner) would give me a call back to schedule the estimate. Holly called me back same day and the estimate was scheduled for the next day. The gentleman who came for the estimate arrived on time and was extremely professional. He clearly understood what needed to be done for each project we needed. Being the fairly new owners of the home, I wasn't sure if the previous owners had left some paint behind, so I requested the estimate include the cost if we had the paint, as well as the cost if they needed to provide the paint. He said I'd have an invoice by end of day. Nine days later I still hadn't received an invoice, and because I'd initially been impressed by the company, I called to follow up. Holly apologized and said she'd send it over immediately, and she did. However, the invoice was missing almost half the projects we'd discussed and only included the cost if we provided paint. I contacted her back pointing out the missing items, and received another estimate. The second estimate still had missing items. After a couple of emails and five updated estimates later the info still wasn't correct. We received five estimates from five different companies for our job and it was coming down to Mr Fixit Fast and another company. We ultimately went with the other company, even though they charged $600 more. I really wanted it to work with Mr Fixit Fast, and maybe another time we'll give them a call and try again, but for this project we didn't believe the work we needed done would actually get done because the estimates kept leaving them off and the costs kept changing.

To begin with, I spoke with Holly the owner. I scheduled an afternoon appointment to have a handyman come out and give a quote. On the day of, he surprised me by showing up just shortly before 9am when I had very little time. He claimed he was told morning...ok, I let it go. He provided a quote which I felt was reasonable and scheduled a repair for the next week. The day of the repair came and there was a downpour. This would affect part of the repair process, so I called and spoke with Holly. She seemed unaware of what exactly was going on and was unsure if the repair man would be coming or not. This struck me as very strange, but asked if she could find out. How could she not know? In any case, I get a call from the handyman about 2 hours after he was supposed to be there and we agreed to reschedule for the next week..exactly ONE week later. Here is the reason for this ONE star review: the next week rolls around and it is 9am..when he is supposed to be at my house. Nothing. I wait patiently...all the way until NOON...after noon I had heard nothing and decided to give them a call. Once again, I spoke with Holly who had no idea what was going on. She said she would call the handyman. About 40 minutes later the handyman calls apologizing claiming he forgot that today was my appointment. He said he forgot to write it down the last time we spoke and asked me to call Holly to reschedule. What's worse? Holly the owner NEVER called me. To this day, I have yet to hear a word from her. Not so much as an apology or anything. Not a peep. I did a little checking and it seems she contracts repair work out to independent contractors. Whatever the case, there is a serious disconnect between her and the repairmen she contracts with. And to make it worse she doesn't seem concerned with following through with her clients and making sure they are taken care of. I repeat: to this day I HAVE NOT heard a single word from Holly the owner about her company standing me up. Very unprofessional.

I hired ONR Renovations (Nisan Cohen) to build a second-story addition to my home. Despite paying…read moreover $115,000, the project remains incomplete after 5+ months. Communication has become nearly nonexistent, and what was delivered has been a disaster. And now, multiple licensed contractors are quoting over $60,000 just to finish what's left. The contract clearly stated that brick would be used on the exterior -- Nisan later tried to deny this despite it being in writing as an "honest mistake". I've now had multiple systems professionally inspected, and the findings are alarming: * Plumbing and HVAC are not up to code * It appears the work was done by an unlicensed handyman * Multiple violations that must now be redone, delaying occupancy and adding thousands in extra costs * never validated the licenses under the permit and kept lying to me for months that everything is on track. I had to go to the city to find out. Because of this company's dishonest, greedy and negligent practices, I've been forced to take legal action. I've lost money, time, and trust -- and I strongly warn others: do not hire ONR Renovations. Contractors like this make homeowners suffer while they hide behind excuses. This experience has been financially and emotionally exhausting.

Hired Greentex in May 2020 for a landscape job in Wylie, TX. The job consisted primarily of adding…read morea large flower bed for plants around a pool, stone-edged, and adding stepping stones to grass to create a path. While initially good to deal with, the quality provided for this work (given the amount paid) was overall sloppy and disappointing. This was mainly due to two reasons, i) what seemed to be inexperienced crews that were sent out, and ii) a lack of supervision of the work (even after I let them know of several complaints). Flower Beds - Initially liked the look of work done (prior to the stone work going in), however, I purchased three 15g Taylor Junipers. One of the three appeared to have been damaged either in transport or in planting as several of the branches or cracked/broken. (See picture) I was told that the plant was "healthy" and they just needed to trim it up. After several requests, this was never done. Also, it's only been 4 days since install and it appears the Company either did not properly deweed the grass under the beds or did not do it at all, as there is already grass growing through the mulch. The stone work done on the beds looks awful. I got home after the stone was initially done and while it looks acceptable in certain areas, in others it looked awful. The crew either had no experience in laying stone, or was in a rush. I spent my evening pulling up the stone before it set in. Upon several complaints, the same crew was sent back with a "what's wrong" mentality as if the supervisor had not informed them of my communications to the team. Even after doing touch ups on what I pointed out, the end result is VERY rough and sloppy. See pictures. Stepping stones - this was going to be what I assumed a very easy task. I asked they lay a few stepping stones in the grass to create a path. At first, all the crew did was just lay stones on top of the grass instead of setting in. After a couple complaints, they came back, and dug them in but did not balance (and pretty sure this crew has not done this work before). The stones were still wobbly when walked on, so we asked for a third/fourth time to be done correctly. The end result, now, is a mud pit of stone/dirt as the crew tore up all sod in the area. It looks downright awful/embarrassing. See picture. I have engaged another company to come back to fix as my multiple complaints were not heard (same thing as above, the same crew that had done the work incorrectly multiple times would come back not knowing what to or how to fix - a supervision issue). Overall, I expected more experience and supervision in what should have been a fairly straight forward, but expensive (~$6k) project. I would not recommend this company to others.

I could not remember the name of the company until I looked up permits to my former home via BuildZoom.com. ACT did a 5 Star job in listening to our needs, mapped out the job, settled on the price, poured the pads, and they took care of all the permits necessary to complete the job. We had concrete pads built for our boat, wave runner trailers, and our shed. We sold our home in Nov. 2016 and after 9 years the pads were in excellent shape. The concrete job was better than our original driveway installed by a different building contractor before we purchased the home. I fought the city for 4 years and they replaced that driveway for free because it was their city inspectors who approved the subpar project. I am so glad I found the info for this company and now that I have saved their contact info, will recommend them in the future.
