I love how it's located on Chapin Ave, a few blocks off from the busy sidewalks of Burlingame Ave. There is street parking with and without meters available. My daughter had a beautiful manicure which she absolutely loved. I had an amazing pedicure which was so relaxing. I had an ingrown toenail which she removed thoroughly. While I had to wait for about half an hour for her to finish up with another scheduled client, I realized very quickly that she is just so sweet and attentive to detail. Today was the first time I stepped foot in a nail shop in close to 2 years - and to say it was an absolute pleasure is an understatement. For about 20 years of my life I was the girl that would go to the nail shop every 2 weeks religiously . I took a break to finish paying off debt I'd accumulated in my younger years and yet ... today I had the best experience I've ever had in a nail shop in my life. Just learning I could use it for things outside of yoga and hiit classes - I found Donna's salon via ClassPass and booked myself for a same day appointment. When I arrived she was surprised to see me and informed me that she was sorry but she'd been having issues with her phone or class pass and didn't see that I'd booked an appointment. She expressed she was super busy but could still see me at a later time if I was available. I made it work and I'm so happy I did! When I returned for my appointment - I had the opportunity to see Donna in her element, taking great care of some ladies that had an appointment before mine. One maybe 6 years old or even younger and Donna treated everyone like family. Say what you'd like - giving kids a manicure is hard work! But Donna handled it like it was easy and made it so fun - even I couldn't help but laugh along! My visit and pedicure with Donna was the highlight of my day. She took great care of me, she took her time, and she did an AMAZING job. From asking me how I liked the temperature of my water, to the hot stone massage, and making sure I actually liked my pedicure before she finished - she has earned a client for life. Donna is lots of love and laughter, she has a great attitude (unlike sadly most technicians I've seen), and knows how to carry herself!
