I don't even know where to begin to start. this place lacks structure so badly. first of all there…read morehas been times where nobody is at the front door, the parents will just hold open the door for anyone, which is a safety hazard within itself. There is only about one polite teacher that cared for my son. there is a big lack of communication on the app and between teachers to parents. I had mentioned that my son was working on potty training and wouldnt ever get any updates on their end as far as working with him. there is no learning, no curriculum. I would as my son what he learned and he would come home everyday and say "I don't know" there has been times where they are over ratio, they seem to just hire anybody. some with bad attitudes. They were very quick to tell me about my sons behavior but never any positive updates and or solutions. just seems like one big free for all there. my son would come home dirty, not put together at all. they do not take pride in the children and or what they do at Tutor Time. They would log in that he's eating and he'd come home with a full lunch box & even left old food sitting in a container for a week. they even suggested me getting my son evaluated instead of taking the time to work with him. I switched him to a new daycare and see a complete difference in his behavior and his learning. would not recommend this place

Send your child anywhere else but here! They burned my 1 year old daughter and attempted to cover…read moreit up by lying about it! They have been indicated on child abuse and maltreatment charges because of it and are pending revocation from OCFS! The owner/director Marjorie Mallard is the biggest liar of them all! She claimed to know nothing about how my daughter got burned, then after the investigation the truth came out that she was the one who did it! She lied on a state report to cover up the incident, then was forced to modify the report to comply with state regulations to state what actually happened, yet refused to give me the report as required by the state. My daughter is permanently scarred thanks to this center hurting her and refusing to get her medical care due to their attempted cover up. Marjorie has also had her previous center closed down in the past and has 2 pending lawsuits against her for child abuse. This center needs to close down! Not only did the enriched curriculum enhance the educational experience I acquired but it also set the bar very high to as where I would eventually send my own children. Now as a working mother of two boys, I wish I still lived in New York so they could go there. I haven't found anything comparable yet. I made long term friendships with some of the staff there and the administration was fair and flexible. The school has a warm, friendly environment and is located in a gated community. So safe! I miss my Summerfield days!
