These people have been helping take care of my 3 babies for months and so far it's been amazing. It's hard getting my kids to cooperate upon drop off and pick up however that has nothing to do with the staff here. For the most part these people are all loving and caring. This is our 3rd daycare and it has been going great so far. Always cleaned and they go as far as helping wash blankets and sheets for the kids when there is an accident. Definitely consider this place if you are looking for a daycare! You won't regret it. My only suggestion is to inquire within and take the chance like I did. I couldn't be more comfortable with any other daycare at this time. read more

My rating is a pretty clear statement about my family's experience using this facility. The two star rating is because "Ms. D" and "Ms. Stacey" showed genuine care for our son while he was enrolled. Our experience started in early August 2019 when my Wife returned to work after maternity. We scouted a few day care facilities prior to landing with KinderCare and though they were the most expensive of the ones we researched, we went with them because of their stellar reviews, personal recommendation, and proximity to our place of work. Our (then) four month old son started his first week with three incident reports, all in his first three days at KinderCare. All of the incident reports entailed wounds to his face; two self inflicted and one by another child. As concerned parents, we addressed this with the facility director and assistant director immediately. We were assured that we would be contacted asap should our son be hurt again while under their supervision. Though they made good (for the most part) on this assurance, the incident reports continued to flow. In addition to the numerous incident reports, the daily reports they sent to us were inaccurate and lacked detail most of the time. More recently, when I picked-up my son from KinderCare, I noticed a series of scratches around his right eye. I immediately called my wife and she said that she did not receive a call regarding an incident from the day. When she went to follow-up, she was informed (by Ms. Pat) that he had those scratches when she dropped him off in the morning. In addition it was explained (by Ms. Pat) that the staff is "unable to give him the attention he wants when they are with another kid, so we leave him in the crib crying and he flails his arms." In other words, you choose dereliction of duty. If you have read the review to here, I think you can digress that we are attentive parents. As we began to scout other options for daycare, our anxiety increased every day we dropped him off. For two working parents, it is not easy leaving your child in the care of folks you barely know; it is even more frustrating knowing that you are paying for subpar care. His last day at KinderCare (in early October) entailed another sloppy daily report, consisting of mostly vague/incomplete details. The facility wasn't sure if they forgot to feed him (for six hours) or if they gave him another child's formula? To this day it remains a question mark and a scar on two new parents and their five month old son. We are just happy that he is not there anymore. read more

My son Cayden started this daycare center at 12 months old. I work nights so before daycare I was home with my son during the day and my husband was home with him at night, one of us were always with him. I was very very nervous about sending him to daycare! since as I said I was with him all day long. When we went to visit the center everyone seemed warm and welcoming. We toured the room, everything seemed nice the teachers seemed nice. We decided to Enroll my 1 year old into part time daycare in the morning, so I can still work nights and be with him during the day and get some sleep(since I was running on 2-3 hours a day before daycare) Since he's part time they let me choose the days and hours he is in daycare I chose Tuesday, weds, Thursday 9am to1pm. Since hes never been away from me during the day the first week was alittle rough he cried when I left and tried to chase me out the door! one time I left crying and I was questioning my life choices sending him to daycare! the teacher knew I was nervous so she would send me updates in the 4 hours he attends threw the tadpole app for parents, the very easy app shows what he did all day, what he ate and when he sleeps and sends pictures in the day and every picture he's nice and happy, I think the tears were a show for mommy more then anything! I was even one of "those parents" who watched secretly threw the door and windows. He really ended up bonding with his teacher MISS KRISTINA, he absolutely adores her! he will jump right out of my arms to run up to her. If Miss krystina is away from the room when I drop my son off he walks around looking for her and when she comes in the room his face lights up!!!! of course the teacher assistant is in the room when she is gone. The teacher assistant is amazing to MS LAUREN is very kind to Cayden! I honestly can not think of better teachers for my son. The daycare center was ok the administrators were nice, but what makes or breaks the daycare are the TEACHERS! He has learned so much! he draws and paints! and plays with other kids. If it wasnt for MISS KRYSTINA AND MISS LAUREN i would have pulled my son right out after the first week of my son crying when I left him. I can not say how grateful I am as a first time over emotional panicked mom to have found such caring people to watch my son. read more

The staff are nice I give you that however, I guess things happen for a reason. Me and my husband were looking last minute for a daycare for one week. We went in on Thursday night to get a tour and talk about the price and then we decided that this place was good and we were both happy with it. Since we only needed three days it worked out perfectly for us. On Friday morning I called to let them know I was coming in to drop off the registration papers and to pay and when I was there the assistant direction named Crystal says "Okay now the only thing is we only have available Tuesday" mind you we had already said we needed 3 DAYS and she agreed that worked. Apparently they need to hand the teachers their schedule by Friday at 3:30pm and yet they did not notify me of that when I called Friday MORNING to at least make me aware. So now it is Friday evening, no way I could get a tour or get time to look for another daycare nonetheless they are all closed on weekends. Even though this place looks clean, they are friendly, this wrong move made me doubt everything and realize how irresponsible they are when it comes to taking families' needs seriously when they come to an agreement about what is it they need and show signs of how badly they needed it! I would not recommend it especially if you are also looking for something last minute. read more

I wanted to say to any parents looking for care that Bohemia Kindercare is a wonderful place! The staff are nurturing and friendly. Teachers always communicate with me about my children. The management team is always eager to help me with any questions or concerns. I feel comfortable leaving my kids everyday. Especially since I work from 7-5 M-F. I need care for my kids everyday all day and its hard for me to leave my infant and three year old all day. But I love them. Great staff and center. Highly recommend! read more

I had my kids at the kindercare in famringville first and that place was amazing the staff where warm and welcoming and very friendly. After being transferred to the Bohemia location since famingville closed, the staff was OK but not like the previous and we where HIT with a HUGE INCREASE all center are priced differently and they wanted to charge me $416.00 more per month for both my kids. The increase as ridiculous so we left for a better and cheaper center. read more

Loooove this daycare! I honestly cannot think of anywhere else I'd rather have my kids cared for. These teachers do a great job. They care for the needs of food allergy children -- the entire place is nut free. The director, Danielle, is on point with everything - from academics, to parties to any get together event, they have always been spot on. The levels of discipline are great. read more
