I get that they're trying to create a fun atmosphere for kids while they wait. My daughter is 2 and does not watch screens and there were screens everywhere. I realize I'm the minority with this. The tree in the middle is nice so I was having her point out the different animals in the tree. I appreciate that we had a private room for her first appointment, as I noticed several chairs in an open space. As expected, my daughter cried and was not a fan of getting her teeth looked at. The assistant and doctor were very kind and patient with her and took the time to explain everything to us and answer our questions. My daughter was happy to get a new toy at the end.

Full blown IV anesthesia and to be very honest that's excessive and unnecessary for fillings and a tooth extraction. No actual surgery was being done. So an IV sedation is crazy, especially for a toddler. I understand that some toddlers can be quiet challenging to work on but the most I've ever seen is laughing gas and that works perfectly fine for your little ones. I wasn't offered that. They also wanted to do all the work in 1 sitting. Usually if a lot of work needs to be done they schedule these out. Lastly but not least let me add that they wanted to charge $900 upfront for the anesthesia LOL. Plus whatever the insurance didn't cover. Anyway get second opinions parents. Don't just say yes and put your little ones through unnecessary sedations or procedures. This place is nice but seems like they just want to take your money by pushing these unnecessary IV sedations.

Since they were originally put on by a different orthodontist (Festival Dental Group). During my consultation they explained they could in fact remove my braces AND it could be done that day. I was very ecstatic with the news, as I assumed that would require another visit. I mentioned I was overdue for a teeth cleaning and they assured me that could be done during the same visit as well. On top of that, I also indicated I had a few teeth that have become jagged/pointy, due to me grinding my teeth at night. They were able to fix that DURING THE SAME VISIT. I couldn't believe the level of customer service by everyone I spoke to and worked with. Walking about if there with everything I needed done, all completed during the same trip, was outstanding. I couldn't be more thankful for how efficient everyone was and their level of professionalism. Considering I had braces removed, my teethed cleaned, and polished my jagged teeth, you would've thought I'd leave with an expensive bill. To top everything off they were very very affordable. My insurance may have played a factor but I've had expensive bills with insurance at other dental offices before. Normally I wouldn't go about leaving a review but I genuinely hope this gets used as a training…read moreopportunity: Originally my appointment was on 6/3 (scheduled 2 weeks out) but a car crashed into the electrical box causing the whole block to lose power about 15-30 min before my appointment . I called the next morning and they said they could fit me in 4 weeks from then for a follow up. Problem: it felt like I had a really bad infection. So I walked in the next day. I told the front desk what happened- she said there was going to be a bit of a wait. Understood. An hour in (I'm the only one in the waiting room crying from pain) and my fiancé asked her how much longer. Her response: we have other appointments. I get that. But I wouldn't have done an emergency walk in if our appt wasn't canceled (out of their control- but still) They get me back 10 minutes later- took a few hand held X-rays of my teeth, then dentist comes in. He took the blunt end of a metal tool and tapped on my teeth to confirm how badly they hurt in two parts. Told me I had an infection in the root canal , and that my back tooth had pretty bad decay- so they referred me to endo. First concern- I was already crying in the chair from pain and he tried to prescribe Motrin and amoxicillin. I had to ask for something stronger - not a huge concern, but still. Second concern- the endodontics place they referred me to was scheduling out a month. I called 3 locations to try and get something sooner. Third concern- i got a second opinion at ultra dental. Turns out i had an infection going up and into my sinus cavity and the back tooth had a cavity under the crown and on the nerve. They got me in same day for evaluation and offered same day service when I called to schedule extractions. I also learned that redoing a root canal can increase chances of failure a 2nd time. I don't know what I would've done if I didn't go to ultra. I work in customer service and am pretty patient, but this time around- risas really let me down and i didn't feel a sense of urgency or care when it came to getting treatment. Even though ive had good past experiences with risas- this experience left such a bad taste in my mouth i wont be returning.
